A BMW 3.0 CSi (I think thats what the letters where)

Anyone got a year or production numbers, I have never seen this car or anything badged as such (except for the "L6" I saw a while back"

I also wen to the bay (marin) and saw a Porsche every other block. People out there own them like Honda civics. Not to mention the 5 cayene (the SUV) S's I saw

1 masserati convertible
1 VW toureg V10 TDI

Pretty sure im messing a lot of other important cars, but I cant seem to remember any of them.

Sorry for the lac of pictures. I have a wonderful 5 year old cell phone that takes crappy pictures. Time for an upgrade...

Yummy Type-R, Brad. Too bad it's in...Australia. But it's Powered by Honda, so it's all good.

He had to have seen a M12 and a WX-3, or 2 M12s. The WX-3R doesn't have a running engine, and as said, it's very rare Mr. Weigert takes out the only WX-3.

Check ExoticSpotter - the Roadster is spotted from time to time in Southern California with surprising regularity. I believe it shows up occaisionally at Cars & Coffee.

Andrew, that your mate must have a fragile Seat, because it doesn't look like a HUGE impact.

Well, I just got back from Germany, where they were good enough to put on a special Old Timer festival for my birthday at the 'Ring. Which was nice.

Not only that, but at Dover there were MASSES of Brits in flash cars going to/from the 24 hour race at Le Mans. So you can imagine what the roads were like...

Highlights were:
  • 20's Mercedes Benz SS - pure automotive gold...
  • Experimental Alfa Romeo 159 with Maserati V8 and RWD - next M3 competitor...:odd:
  • Next "Evoluzione" version of the Alfa Romeo 8C....
  • Porsche Carrera GT and Porsche 911 2.7 Carrera RS:bowdown:
  • More Renault Alpines than you can shake a stick at (many of which would be at home in the "dubious mods" thread :ouch: ...)
  • Original Gulf Ford GT40.:P
  • Saleen S7. :embarrassed:
  • Alfa Romeo SZ "Brutale" and Alfa Romeo GT Junior Zagato.
  • Ultima GTR with 720bhp Chevvy in the back.:mischievous:
  • Which was circulating most of the weekend with a Lamborghini Murcielago.:scared:
  • Lotuses, Porsches, M3s, Astons, MGs, etc., etc.,

What a weekend! We were on bikes, so sorry, no pics. Besides, we were too busy lapping to be distracted by a four wheeled side-show!

You gotta go, it's like a petrolhead's themepark... :D

Darn! You've got me now! I remember the title "Il Mostro" now you mention it, but for some reason "Brutale" is also tattoed on my heart next to a green cloverleaf. Did I just imagine that? Or does my subconscious speak Italian? HELP! :ill:

MV Augusta Brutale, an italian bike maybe? :D

I love MV Augustas, they are LUUUUUUUUUUUUSH

especially the senna ediciones.

PICS OF ULTIMA NOW

:)

EDIT: andrew just quoted me the no pics part. sorry :)

damn I hate it when he proves me wrong :sly:

This thread is nothing without pics.

viper_srt10-061907.jpg

Viper SRT-10; the guy let that Accord get ahead a bit and then he gunned it; this was not an easy photo to take.

sl65-061907.jpg

SL65; never seen this particular one before.

nsx-061907-2.jpg

nsx-061907.jpg

nsx-061907-3.jpg

NSX. Old car, new plates. Looked stock.

quattroporte-061907.jpg

Quattroporte; Arizona plates.

m6_bentley-061907.jpg

M6 + Bentley Brooklands; say 'yummy' to the all-too-common M6.

db9_volante-061907.jpg

DB9 Volante.

new_focus-061807-2.jpg

new_focus-061807.jpg

New Focus. Plates from Sonora, Mexico (just south of Arizona).

m6-061807.jpg

m6_convertible-061807.jpg

Common common common - I misjudged the M6; I must admit I thought it'd be a sales dud. The convertible (below) is the first one I've seen in Denver (fifth total).

You didn't see a Gallardo Spyder this week. Very interesting story behind this spot, not necessary to post here. Florida tags from the Miami area. Only my third Gallardo Spyder spot, all in the last two months.

This Camry and Accord need to go back to the Saturn dealer so they can be compared with the Aura.

Which one was it?

A W8 is at the top, the green one is the Avtech WX-3 concept, the roadster is the Avtech WX-3R, and the bottom car is an M12.

I know it wasn't the W8, though I wish it was. I saw the green WX3 concept at the show, and the roadster WX3R on the street.

Now if only I could get my damn pictures loaded...

SAme colors too, btw.

Hmm, conversion? but it looked too realistic for a kit car...

I dunno. And plates on the WX3R were '900hp WX3'

As Doug pointed out from ExoticSpotter, Mr. Weigert must have installed a working engine, so I could see how you spotted it. 👍

I saw this about a couple of weeks ago, but just today transferred the pics:

Bentley Continental

And this one on the way back from work yesterday. These things are becoming increasingly common. Another Continental

And now, la piece de resistànce! I saw this beast about 10 days ago but couldn't take pics of it. Luckily, today I saw it in the same spot. I've never seen one of these.

Brabus B7

The Continental GT in the first shot is a Diamond Series model. Extremely rare - just 400 manufactured. Few real changes aside the wheels. I've seen two - one registered in Georgia, the other in Florida, both in Atlanta. That's a very good spot.

Here's a better shot that I took on March 3, 2007 of the one with Florida plates:

Upon taking that picture the owner looked at me as if I had just flipped him off. Anyway, as I mentioned - good spot.
