stuff about mosler
thanks and +rep

I already knew which model came when, I remember all the hype from when Mosler first introduced the MT900 and I've seen shots of it along side the Consulier and other models. The one I saw was surely ugly, but nicer wheels and a different wing helped it out a little. Have you ever been to the Mosler website? it looks more like something Ghost C would make

Well I saw a Mazda Mazdaspeed 6 today on my drive home. I managed to get a picture of it with my phone. I may get around to posting it here in a bit.

You mean the old MoslerAuto Online?

Yes, that's one pretty bad, and old (webcam was neat, but never appears to actually change anymore). However, the new MoslerAuto and MT900.uk site are very good.

Thats a good thing then, a company that builds an expensive exotic like the MT900 deserves a good site, however since the links on the old site are dead I couldn't see what the newer sites looked like:yuck:

Saw an Elise yesterday....

And this gem today.

It looks fantastic in person. I happen to have a 1/18 scale model on my shelf, but this is the first time I've seen one in the metal. Either an amazing original condition car, or more likely a restored one. No rust, perfect paint and body, even bias-ply tires on it. I'll take my real camera tomorrow and get a few more shots if it's still around.

Last shot of the day:

Almost walked right by it. White is a very unassuming color for any SVT vehicle.

Isn't that a... a...a... builder's pick-up truck??? I'm only kidding, I know you yanks love 'em. :)

Gonna make you jealous now: took a 190SL on an old car rally from Bordeaux to Bristol (as navigator) some years ago. Considering it was a 1960 car it was exceptionally civilized and modern, and had good neutral handling, light steering and a torquey (if uninspiring) engine. Gotta love Mercedes...

Classic american cars are not common where i live.. and i think so too in amsterdam where i got the pics.

I think i was just lucky...

and the alfas were niceeee

And this gem today.

Very nice spot slicks 👍

I saw an Alfa Romeo Spider with Oklahoma tags on it today. I am not sure of the year of it, but it has to be around 1995. I took a couple of pictures of it with my new phone and will most likely get around to posting them sometime soon. I will go ahead and say that the pictures are not very good shots of the car, but hopefully good quality. I have not looked at them on my computer yet, so I am not really sure how the quality is.

Yeah, not that you showed us that, i am now 100% convinced that it is a 70's Aston. I think the rims on is what gives it away the most.

I was happy to spot this, a MKV R32. I can't believe how nice it sounded.

Very nice! Only 5000 of those are coming to the US this year, so they are very rare (thus far) indeed!

The picture was taken about a 5 miles from the VAG US headquaters and had M plates, so I'm guessing it's a company car. I would like to see one with a private owner.

They were supposed to start taking orders in March, but I've got no idea how soon they were actually supposed to show-up.

...I could probably call my Vee-Dub guy and find out what he has heard...

Wow I didn't realise that R32s were so rare in the States. They are fairly common in little old New Zealand (Well not Corolla common, but you get the idea). In fact there a two people at work with R32s. One in Black, the other in the Blue like you shot.

I saw a bright orange Lancia Stratos today, I almost drove off the road as I really wasn't expecting to see something like that on my normal commute. I am going to have to start taking my camera everywhere I go now.:grumpy:

The one Joey saw is most likely connected to the HQ as he said.

VW USA reports they won't arrive til' late summer.

right then guys, enlighten me, I know the silver car is likely to be a 1930's / 40's grandprix car, but what is the read?

and has anyone got info on either of them?

thanks

thanks andrew, and I meant in the other post, what is the red car? any ideas anyone?
