To be honest it looked pretty innocous in that car park unlike the SLR which had more prescence I feel. A few people were around taking pics of it, but I guess to the casual layman it wouldn't look all too special (my Ferrari mad aunt who I took with me didn't know why I was taking pics of it until I explained).

Where was the 722? All my spots are in this post

From over the weekend:

Avanti

S4, the guy was a firemen as well, had LED lights all over the car

Simplest license plate I've ever seen...just a 7

And today:

Gah, finally found one of these things.

Let's have one more of that Chaser shall we...?!

These pics were taken at an Italian themed stand at a shopping mall. (credit to my newly acquired car spotting partner in crime for getting these)

599 GTB Fiorano - Was never a fan until I saw this rear 3/4 pic - awesome! Still needs four lights at the back though.

Gallardo Spyder - Really struggle to like the Gallardo, but there's no denying it's a great car.

Too bad you aren't closer, as I could have given an educated guess as to what it was. The twin, what appears to be kidney grille, comes from either a BMW or a Pontiac, but I'm uncertain why a BMW would be testing in Eastern Michigan.

...My guess?

It very well could be the next Vibe... But then again, it looks way too big.

Is that a Ford follow vehicle? It may be the updated Explorer SportTrac that I've heard about...

Really wish I had a camera on me, but I saw a BMW 7 Series with Bullrun stickers and looked like it was part of a Gumball.

Is it me or is that one of the most boring colors for a car? I think even white looks much better on a Gallardo.

I agree. Can you imagine a Diablo being offered in that colour?! It's part of the reason why I'm not such a big Lambo fan any more. They've gone a bit sensible. I understand that when you spend huge money on a supercar you'd prefer your pride and joy to be a reliable daily driver, but IMHO Lambo has lost part of it's charisma and mystique since VAG took over the reigns. They may be not far sure of engineering and design perfection but for me the fireworks have gone soggy.

Dodge Viper RT/10 - early model.

continental_gtc-061107.jpg

Bentley Continental GTC - some of it, anyway.

range_rover_yellow-061107.jpg

Range Rover (yellow) - for harry.

gt-061107.jpg

Ford GT - Colorado license plate 'RLYFAST'. Yummy.

Wow, that T-bird looks very nice 👍 But I think that the top part of the car is a little big for the rest of the car and how low it looks. Its looks disproportionate. But still a great example of early luxury.

Nice Avanti spot there Joey 👍 - I've got a strange attraction to Avanti for some reason :odd:

Hey, you're not alone!

They're awkwardly awesome, and I felt so bad that I had completely forgotten about them until I saw the movie Gatticka (sp?) a few years back. There is a company that sells "modern" versions of the Avanti if I recall correctly, but lets be honest, nothing beats a South Bend origional...

I saw a Nissan Cube :dopey:

No picture as I a) really wasn't expecting anything at the time and b) phone was slow going to camera as I was listening to music.

Now it's not extremely unusual as Japanese grey-imports aren't so unusual, but the women driving it was atleast 50 :odd:

Gah chaser_fan, please take this lightly as constructive criticism on your photography:

Taking photos of cars at funny angles doesn't make them any more artistic or attractive. It is actually rather onnoxious and nauseating. Most of those shots would've been far nicer with a level horizon.

Holy crappers thats some seriously close parking! Not exactly what we usually see in this thread! :sly:

Just out of view in that photo is the fact that there is nothing in front of the S4. The fact that they are offset left-to-right makes them appear closer, too. But if I were the owner of the Audi, I'd say it's way top close for comfort.

Extremely early. With those sidepipes and the three-spoke wheels, isn't that the first year?

M5Power

:D

Still going....

It looks like he took them with his phone and a lot of the time you need to angle the object if it's to big to fit on the screen.

I don't like it either...if they are going to put cameras on phones they should at least make them fit a decent size object.

You be a hater

chaser_fan posts some of the best images in this thread - who cares what angle they're from. Tilt your head accordingly!

My lone spot today - I wasn't expecting to see anything due to the weather; instead I caught one of the best cars of my spotting career...
