Get an R63 and then I'll be impressed!
Although truth be told I've seen just one ML63.
There's also the missing GL63 (which doesn't seem to be out yet, anyway). I'm determined to get all the AMG cars eventually, at least those released in the US.
You can paint body panels. You can't paint absence of body panels, especially not when they threaten to suck up more wildlife than a beluga whale.
I like the R8. I like all of it. There's no part I don't like. Okay, maybe the LEDs up front seem blingy. But that's it. Oh, and maybe the side panel should always be body color. But I only have a problem with those two things. Well, um, maybe that and the fact that it's a mid-engined supercar from Audi.
Other than that, I love it.
I have a sweeet find!
I was at a shopping center in Irvine, California and spotted this Nissan Skyline GT-R. I did some reference in Gran Turismo 4, and it seems to be a 1973 model year, rear wheel drive too.
Prolly the most out of the blue car I have ever spotted. It made my day.

If that's real (and not a clone), that is
truly phenomenal. Most nice! 👍

Mercedes S63 [top] and CL63. First I had seen of either vehicle. Wow - the S63 looks sinister. Loved the opportunity to see them tonight.
Did it have the smoked rear lenses that the S65 has? The huge siamesed exhaust with the total blackness of the back end looks much more sinister than any other Mercedes on the road.
@ the cl63, are those the wheels they chose for the near-top-of-the-line model? I don't like those at all
There are quite a few options for wheels with AMG models, and Mercedes in general. Those are one of at least 8 available from the dealer.
Of course you could've mentioned that at the time of the post.
He could have, but the exhaust gave it away for me. The rolled ends are distinctly non-M, which have all had straight cut tips since the E39 M5:
Z4 M
E60 M5
Z3 M Roadster
E46 M3
M39 M5
But the US (and Japan) is no stranger to posing. Spend 5 minutes in NYC outside Manhattan and you'll see an endless supply of mis-badged Hondas, 325's, whatever. Posing is an art form for some people.
Got through most of that okay, then I saw those two and realized that I would be needing new pants. Oh, and I liked those videos.Sheesh. It's a miracle you can still hear. I said "IT'S A MIRACLE YOU CAN STILL HEAR."
Here, here:
Audi S4 Avant
Trying this new thing of driving and shooting the picture while not looking at the photo target. Works okay. Sometimes.
Maserati twins
Same day, miles apart, common as cheese.
Mercedes-Benz CL55 AMG
This one was supercharged, unlike the last one.
Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet
Shocker! It's not a Turbo
S!
Bentley Continental GTC
I said it only works sometimes. This is not one of those times.
Aston Martin DB9 Volante
Over the past 8 weeks, I've seen three DB9 Volante's on this route, all different. It's highly unusual because I'm pretty sure no one in the area can really afford one (although they may be passing through, it's just that I don't see them in too many other places).
Toyotal Celica Supra
How old does it make you if you remember this car when it was new and thought, "That Supra name sure sounds silly"?
Chevrolet El Camino
Not an old one, but the license plate sold me on it. This one's in mint condition, but even then he'd have to ante up a lot of money if he expects to trade it in for an original.
Plymouth Prowler
I haven't seen many, but I've never seen one with the top up. Not even on the highway. I almost forgot it had one.
Morgan 4/4
Only because Doug & I were due for our moment of serendipity.
Citroen SM
I'll see it again, I'll get a better picture, but this caught me by surprise. The fuzziness is due to my choosing to stabilize the camera on the window ledge, which was still attached to the vibrating car.
