@ Doug: I searched high and low for a 599 when I was in Miami, and even while in the Ferrari dealer, they didn't have any. A very special spot you had there... Otherwise, that Lambo looks familiar. It actually looks quite similar to the one that stalled while I was waiting to cross Washington Ave on my way back to the Condo. Hmmmm.... But given how many there were down there, its hard to know for sure.

My spots, taking during a short trip to Grattan to see a little race:

I'm uncertain if it is a genuine Cobra, as I didn't get that close to it, but my brother was saying that it went like hell while I was out on the track with Adam (CAMAROBOY69). The red Mustang (I want to say '67?) was one hell of a car as well... Over 500 BHP, that SOB was flying around the track, and nearly went off several times while we were following him. Oh, and that is a NASCAR there. He did run it on the track. Check the Grattan thread.

There were several MKII Elise models, as well as an Exiege, and they were all rather fast. The silver BMW in the top photo was actually a Dinan M3, but I didn't take too many photos with the owner hovering around.

n78001441_30354995_6971.jpg

This was about one of ten Z06 models, both C5 and C6. I was actually quite surprised by the number of Z06s, particularly C6 models, and furthermore their performance was quite good. This one was running Hoosier slicks. Sweet...

Hey, I know that car!

I know it's just an AM, but there are honestly no other cars I can think of that can top the all-over brilliance of the current-gen V8 Vantage. Nothing is perfect, but this definately comes close. P.S- Do you have a higher resolution photo?

Yes, I do, though I've no idea how to send it since both Photobucket and ImageShack automatically resize, to my knowledge.

Spots this evening:

continental_gts-072807.jpg

So common.

db7_volante-072807-2.jpg

db7_volante-072807.jpg

Speaking of common... the top one's a V12; the bottom a 6-cylinder.

viper_gts-acr-072807.jpg

Yes, a second Viper GTS-ACR. I swear. I have to be the only person ever to have seen two in one day.

That's near perfect.

A two-tone Ulysse. An ordinary Ulysse is rare in itself...

And the same things i see nearly every day.

You should be able to post the image up on ImageShack at a higher resolution and it stay at that resolution, so long as the file size is not over so large a file size. Do not really know what it is because I cannot get to ImageShack at the moment. I have seen other members post images at much larger sizes, i.e. harrytuttle (the first member I saw while looking through this thread that posts high resolution pictures). He posts images around 2272x1704 all the time. So you should not have a problem posting the picture at a higher resolution.

Photobucket has an option to limit filesize to 1Mb. I've never tested whether it autoresizes to suit, but that's what I use for my PMC pics.

I haven't seen much, just some Beemer 7-series's:
BMW 740IL

BMW 740i

and 5's too
BMW 530xi

I can't identify this one:

oh, and this, too:

the H2 limo.
Yes, I HAVE seen more than this, I've seen jags, S-classes, etc, but I was stuck with my dad's Olympus D-600L camera, the old one, and my batteries died fairly quickly. IF you guys believe that.

Spots today:

I believe this vehicle is owned by the same man who owns the black Ferrari Enzo here in Colorado (their license plate numbers are 1,010 apart). To my knowledge he also has or had a 612 Scaglietti, which I photographed in the same place about twenty months ago.

Quite happy with my first 599 GTB spot! Impressions: sounds great, looks decent parked. Looks very exotic moving. Many people did notice it (being parked in the front of valet helps). Styling is at the worst bland and at the best great but definitely not bad (like the 612, for example - though I actually like the 612).

Hope you enjoyed!

Doug, the next time you see something like this that sounds like audio porn, could you switch your camera over to video and we can REALLY hear what it sounds like?

Also amazing that you saw 2 ACR's in the same day.

On another note, I saw my first R8 yesterday night ( or was it this morning?) at around 1:30. Was in a car with a friend and we passed it doing about 90. The tail lights and the exhaust are the only thing I saw and that was more than enough to know that it was an R8. Could really hear what it sounded like. Doubt Ill ever see on again :grumpy:

If i recall correctly the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3 doesnt have audio record in video mode, i know this because i was gonig to buy one, but then i discovered the LZ5 has audio + 0.5" bigger LCD + 1.0m pixels :)
Even if doug had his SLR (i think he has one, im sure its been mentioned before) most of those dont capture video full stop. Time to get a new camera doug? :P

Edit: also, doug, what ratio do you have your camera set to, your pictures a lot wider than the standard 4:3.
Oh wait nevermind, it must be 16:9 (double 800x450 = 1600x900)

What I do is make a copy of the photo, open it up in MSPaint, then save it without making any changes. It takes just 5 seconds -- literally. What is usually a 1.5MB file can drop to 600KB easily. Just make sure your originals are safe. It keeps about 90% of the detail. As long as the original is nice and sharp (which M5Power's just about always are), the copy looks pretty good.

And yes, while one ACR is great, two is just nuts. I've never seen one, but I like the rear wing. The black & yellow work for me; obnoxious, and he can get away with it.

Ferrari 308 Quattrovolve. And it's R U JLS, fool, not RU JELL S. I R NT JLS.

Dodge Viper RT-10

C6 Z06

Very nice Mk1 for Idiot.

Two for me. How many decades since you saw an Infiniti Q45?

AWW BRAH DAS GANGSTA SMOOTH

Porsche Carrera S, left; Boxster S, right; and that thing in the middle...

So what model is this? The guy is a known Porsche fanatic. He used to own a red Carrera GT, but traded that for a Porsche race car. I don't know what it is.

Porsche Carrera 4S, and again 20 minutes later.

BOOYAH DUGG! Saleen F150 hauling a Saleen trailer with a Saleen S281 mounted securely.

That was the big one of the day, and if it weren't for the triple-whammy it wouldn't be all that significant.

EDIT: Bondy, Doug has told me he crops hos pictures to that size. I also figured he shot at 16:9. I suppose he was just picked the right proportion.

I didn't know they made a Saleen F-150 but it looks nice! :dopey: Both the car, truck, and trailer are very clean though judging by your pictures. Very well kept. 👍

On photobucket after you go to "My Album", you can click on options above the first browse button. There you can adjust the maximum size dimension-wise or size-wise (1 MB or 2 MB.)

Wow! Great spots everybody! I don't have much to bring to the party today, but here goes anyway. A couple of superteenyweenysminis to begin.

Daihatsu Trevis - A car with a terrible name but cutely cool looks (I think I prefer it to the mini) and even though it's a 5-door, it seems much tinier too.
Mitsubishi i - Postman Pat goes futuristic
Porsche 997 Turbo
cars12cs9.jpg

Ferrari F355 and DB9 (Two of the sexiest cars ever penned)
Maserati Quattrofishy
Toyota Supra
cars11qd2.jpg

Your Aston is a DB9, not a V8 Vantage. Thanks for the Ferrari spot and the others, though! 👍

A few hours - the rare bit there is the out-of-town tag and the fact that it's the most recent model post facelift. Still not that rare. :P

Good spot on the 308 - beautiful car.

Here's what ive seen in the past few days

ML63

Z06

308?

Bentley CGT

GT500

996 C4S

Scion SC - this is really nothing but since its not sold here, its a worthy spot for me. It came from the U.S.

Gallardo

Taurus SHO - saw this while waiting for the lights at the intersection 2min from my house

Then i saw something glare at me

It was an F430 spyder

Spots of the Day (both today)

360 Challenge Stradale - i think the first one ive seen on the road

BMW Z1 - according to wiki

BMW only produced 8,000 Z1s. None were initially sold in North America, although it is uncertain whether examples have been independently imported since the car's launch. There is at least one in Sarasota, FL, and one in Boulder County Colorado as well as at least one in Ontario Canada.
