Morgan Roadster

Sweet, I love the old style of the Morgan's. Great spots as always Doug. đź‘Ť

Weirdly, I saw what I'm sure was a Renault Clio saloon. Do they even exist?

No picture, would have involved alot of hassle from some chav girls.

 Wow man. I'd really like to sit in the back of a 62 then!
I have done :sly: here's a video of the rear armrest mechanism.

sat in the car at the back of the picture, furthest to the left.

Very uncommon here, I don't think Renault ever officially brought them over, due to the Megane sedan making it redundant.
In fact, the Laguna made the Megane sedan redundant as it is...

But I think Clio sedans are rare even in mainland Yurup, so quite a spot over here.

Also known as the Renault Thalia

It's probably common in South America, since they tend to make sedan versions of many hatchbacks for that market.

Its a 300C but I forgot what bodykit its got on. Looks stunning in the flesh.

It appears to be a 300C SRT-8 (425 BHP 6.1L V8) with a mesh-grille kit, running on Dodge Charger SRT-8 wheels.

IMO, the standard model (ie, unmodified SRT-8) looks better:

I wouldn't be so sure. For one thing, the mesh grille is a factory option in Europe. For another, those 'Charger SRT-8' wheels are optional on practically every European 300C (and naturally every 300 in Europe is a 300C - even the wagons) including the diesel version, cleverly named the 300CRD. Also optional on every European model is that SRT bodykit - which CAR fitted to their long-term tester - a diesel wagon. It could be any model in the range.

License with the Jeep must've ran out, because Korando used to look like this:

License ran out, got sued... whatever.

Though a simple RAC vehicle status check can verify that 'KM07 BUF' is...

RAC
Make - CHRYSLER
Year of manufacture - 2007
Model - 300C CRD

I concur with The Cracker - Volkswagen-based kit car intending to represent a classic Porsche and a Fiero.

It looks to me like a 512TR, the Testarossa's successor. It has the wheels and painted side skirts characteristic of the 512TR. Granted I have seen Testarossas with both the wheels and the painted side skirts so it's really hard to tell one from the other unless you get a badge shot. So I guess we'll always wonder. For the record the 512TR is considerably rarer. Good spot either way.

yup looks like a 512 TR to me too đź‘Ť

Thats very interesting indeed. I would have figured that Chrysler would have had more sense than to make some of that stuff optional on a lower-level car... Furthermore that Europeans would have enough taste not to put the Hi-Po stuff on there.

As mentioned they're factory options.

Remember Chrysler is battling a lot in order to sell these things over there - one surefire way to unload them is to pack them full of muscle. Europeans and particularly Brits still shy away from American cars unless they're 'muscular' as that's the best era of American cars, in their views. Can't blame Chrysler at all for trying to capitalize.

I meant to say that Chrysler shouldn't make some of that stuff optional on lower-level cars, so my bad there...

But anyway, I can't blame them for what they're doing to sell cars. Problem is that while it isn't a problem in Europe, in America it would be highly frowned upon, for good reason I believe. You don't want the Magnum SE taking away the thunder of the Magnum SRT-8, at the very least in looks, so you've got to leave it to the aftermarket there...

Although, Chrysler was stupid enough to make the SRT-4 bodykit available as an option on the regular Neon for quite some time...

It was. Bumper and dam give it away.

Testarossa

I don't know much about cars, but with the Testarossa being my favorite design of all time, I knew this one. Had a gigantic poster of it in my bedroom, when I was 13.

Definitely. But that much is obvious and like you say, you can't blame Chrysler for trying to sell some cars.

Well see how long that lasts... They're currently threatening dealers so that if they don't improve sales in the next six months, they're likely to get cut. If memory serves, we have four our five within the Greater Grand Rapids area, and I think losing one or two wouldn't hurt... Sure, we can't afford to lose any more jobs around here, but its pointless having this many places that do the exact same thing (sell shoddy cars with so-so service and sales). But, given that many of them are Dodge/Chrysler dealers, my guess is that they'll stick around... Furthermore, given the dealer loyalty that there is in Michigan (despite the fact its usually less than a 20 minute drive between every dealer), they'll keep them around because they know they'll sell cars and trucks, no matter what.

no problems with an elise in the rain.ive been in a 135R racer when it was pouring down (im sure a few members have seen that video  ) roof on it is great and doesnt let any water in :) roundabouts are great fun though :D

Awesome spots Joey! I love the Mondeo, really the whole lot of Euro-only models. Its a damn shame that we're given the short end of the stick so often here...

*sigh*

...I need to get to Europe one of these days...

Didn't mean because it'd let rain in, just because it'd be a hassle to drive. Nice photos! Do remember though that when an F355 is equipped with an F1 transmission it is not called the F355 but rather the 355 F1 - there's no such thing as an "F355 F1." Minor though - thanks for the photos! đź‘Ť

(I attempted to +rep you for the Z1 shot but it says I need to spread it around - arrrgh!)

nah the elise has a stupid amount of grip :D when i was in it in the rain the tyres were seriously done on them (loads of trackdays) but it felt totally planted on the backroads and all you had to do was give it abit of throttle and the back would get out but apart from that no issues in the rain.

forgot to say also seen a Z06 the other day too but it is owned by a friend of mine ( he also has a 380bhp seat leon!) bright yellow as well to match is leon.only got the picture he sent me of it though as i still had videos from a concert on my phone and they are taking up all the room in it lol but ive been promised a go in it! lol
