I've never seen one without the wing, actually. Though I have seen many STis without wings, and some with the regular WRX wing, and I like all three looks.

EDIT: Also, I don't think I've ever noticed the rear wiper on Evos. Now that's some real rally thinking!

Don't most Japanese cars have rear wipers? I know some of the USDM version do not have them but it seems like every time I see a photo of a car from Japan it has the rear wiper.

I thought I would break up the four-wheeled frivolity with some vintage two-wheeled action:

1957 BSA Golden Flash (left) Another Ariel (right)

1969 BSA Royal Star

Ok, enough of that back to the four wheels:

1941 - 46 Chevrolet Pick-up

AE86 Trueno Apex Twin Cam

Ferrari 360 F1. I followed this one for a while and it was simply wonderful to hear its engine note. Especially when he dropped it down a couple of gears and accelerated into the 70 zone and when the sound bounced off the concrete walls. Mmmmmm.

Cool, a stock looking AE86. Haven't seen those in a while. I usually see pics of them full of dings and missing a bumper or two.

The CL65 AMG is made to order in very small numbers, and is the most powerful CL to date.

Saw one yesterday...

Sorry, but that's a CL63. You can just make out the fact that it's a 6.3, with the 'AMG' to the right of that. The '65 badge has the V12 badge on the side, with 'Twin Turbo' just below.

Are you sure? That looks like standard aftermarket wheels (OZ Ultraleggera), and I thought that the Prodrive Forester's were definitely not two-tone....

Third. harrytuttle got the first spot, and I've seen two since. My first spot was back on November 17:

This is the second time that I saw this Porsche, the first time I was to late to take a photo.
This time I had to run 50 meters between the cars to take these photo's.

For the first time - yes, I have seen something good. Thanks to all the identifiers!

Standing at a stoplight on my way to the university, I've noticed this perfect-condition Mercury Comet:

Which I proceeded to chase on foot, seeing it parked about a hundred meters after:

Back to the university's direction, I saw this unidentified monster: ('1967-1971 Ford Thunderbird Landau 2 door, "Glamour Bird", according to ND4SPD - thanks!)

pict6088po9.jpg

(Where'd the headlights go?

And this Chevy... ('55 Bel Air - thanks Joey!)

And a Peugeot 404...

Parked next to a Citroen DS:

This is when things became suspicious. Four rarities that close? There had to be a catch - which arrived minutes later, in the form of an oldies-meet in the making:

The perfect Thunderbird...

Things became hot with this Corvette C3 Stingray:

And another C3 'Vette:

A perfect light-blue 'Stang convertible:

A BMW 501:

A Fiat X1/9:

And another 'Stang:

Oldsmobile Starfire (Thanks Toronado):

A huge monstrosity: (Late-'70s Lincoln Mark III - Thanks Joey!)

(Side-by-side with a Fiat 500 for comparison purposes)

That same Fiat 500:

And a Fiat 500C Topolino (Danny, thanks):

(It's so incredibly small narrow! And with suicide doors!)

A Fiat coupeish thing? (ID please?)

A Oldsmobile Cutlass (Joey again 👍)

And an El Camino!

A bizzare Volkswagen: (VW Thing/181 - thanks Joey!)

MGA (Thanks to Danny):

(So incredibly low and tiny, I didn't believe it. The windshield's only a tad above my hip!)

Cute BMW 700: (Thanks Danny)

A not-so-cute M3 (Totally out of place)

A Dodge Dart: (Toronado, thanks)

A C4 Corvette was present as well:

And this ultra-lowered C5 'Vette made a visit:

A Cadillac DeVille (thanks Danny):

Three Studebaker Larks made a visit. A '61 Sedan (Israeli-built 6-cylinder):

A '62 Sedan (Israeli-built 6-cylinder):

The rear of those two:

A tasty engine-bay (Can't remember which Lark is was):

And a '65 Coupe (American-spec Chevy V8):

Pontiac '69 Firebird Convertible: (thanks Joey, Toronado & Venari!)

Simca: (ID please?)

Artsy Blurry shots of yet another Caddy:

I believe that is a '1967-1971 Ford Thunderbird Landau 2 door. They are the "Glamour Birds".

and the Cadillacs all look like Eldorados to me...

It always amazes me when you stumble upon one of these meets. Makes you think how they all got there and where do they hide them the rest of the time. I saw a late 70s Firebird the other day around here... come on, the only GM models Spain got that are still around are Opel and Daewoo Chevrolet... oh, and Saab.

Yes, the only vintage car I usually see is a '65 'Stang near work. Other than that, they're inexistant.
