BMW Z1.
This is the first time that I saw one and I hope not last time.

Serge that is by far the coolest car seen on the past couple pages... Very ironic as I was just thinking about how bad I want one of these this morning!!

I don't know if anyone will be too interested as these pics were taken at a dealership rather than on the road but here we go anyway.
Brand new 2007 GTR, delivery ks only. We just got it in yesterday. Apparently the first one in NZ.

I'll see your new GT-R and raise you three ;) Saw a black one too but didn't manage to get a shot.

On the Skyline theme. Here are some R34's and an R33. All these photos are from yesterday btw, for Hong Kong it was damned chilly!

I'm pretty sure you're right. Coupe is BNR34 and sedan ER34, isn't it? Anyhoo, strange I only saw 2 Ferraris yesterday...

A very happy fella in a F355 GTS - and why wouldn't you be!? He kindly stopped for the shot.

I did however see another Italian marque. The new Maserati Gran Turismo. I had my doubts about it in pictures, but in the metal this thing has so much presence. Still not sold on the back lights though.

I think ImageShack is down :(

Eh? What's with the white dudes? I thought this joint was in China? I'm guessing there's quite a few foreign residents...

Hong Kong was a British colony until 1997. That might explain it.

My winter beater's got a V10!

It was Hollywooding* snow today, so I busted out the camera to try and catch some funny snow driving. Everyone took the day off though. :grumpy:

Excuse the crappy exposure, it was still on M setting from when I was trying out a sweeet 900$ lens at the shop. You don't see a Fox 4-door wagon every day!

* Hollywooding is a snowboarder term referring to big, ,fake, slow, lazy snowflakes, like in Hollywood movies.
The term Hollywood can also mean when you showoff your moves under a chairliftfull of people that has been stopped due to some scrub failing to get on/off properly.

Hong Kong is the (or one of the) most laissez-faire capitalist regions in the world, so there are quite a few expatriates working in the financial sector and other businessey things. Which also explains why there are so many fine cars there.

There you go. But actually a lot of the foreigners here are increasingly from the US and Australia.

More from yesterday. I mentioned that almost all the parking here is underground. So, I went into a car park and snapped a couple of cars. It's amazing the stuff you see in these types of places in Hong Kong. I've seen Countach's, Testarossas, vintage English cars and the like as well as the obligatory modern Ferraris, Porsches and Lambos. The trouble is the security is so tight that it's not long before people are taking an interest in your handiwork. Also the lighting is terrible and using the flash only adds to your obviousness. Fortunately, being a foreigner here it's slightly easier to get in and get a couple of snaps. Here are some from yesterday. I only got about 5 minutes in the car park before I was being taken notice of and left.

On the subject of Lamborghinis. Lamborghinis in white are like sooo in right now, darling!

Gallardo Spyder (front left), Gallardo (back left), Murcielago (centre), Murcielago (right)
lamgallardospyder00agr9.jpg

This was in the Lambo service centre. Basically, a dump of a garage in a shoddy industrial building. Nearby I also saw 2 Pagani Zondas, an F Roadster (the one with the red stripe down the side) and a C12S 7.3, both in bare carbon fibre finish, but I didn't take a photo because they were behind glass that was just too reflective.

White GT3 hits the spot too...

More later...

It's not a Clubman, it's a van.

The Clubman name didn't get applied to the van version until this latest release.

Good spot in such a flashy market though! 👍

Apparantly I forgot about this F430...

Really? I never knew that. Actually, the old Minis are pretty popular here (as they are everywhere) and since the release of the New Mini a few years back have seemed to gain increasing popularity. Here's a sad little Mini near my house... :(

From all things tiny to all things huge. A couple of luxury barges.

A couple of Maybachs (These things are amazingly understated for their massive size - I almost missed both of them embarassingly thinking the black one was a big Hyundai)

These Bentley's probably qualify for posting due to their quite interesting colours

I try not to repeat cars I've seen, but this is a much better picture than the time I saw this 'Fabulous' Mercedes S500 a while back

A couple of Phantoms

This one has a particularly nice stance

Parked outside of one of my jobs. Looked spectacular in person. The interior was immaculate...black leather too.

You can see my Camaro in the second pic. :D

I just searched Wiki, and it turns out the van went by several names.

There was a Traveller and a Countryman - both round nose. And there was the Clubman Estate with the square, bull nose. So, technically a Clubman, yet not.
