You're right, hence my swift edit!

I really want to see the full picture of the M5.

I didn't take any other pictures of it. I see a half dozen M5s a day, so I don't even bother taking pictures of them. I just shot this one because I found one parked and there was a GT3-kitted Porker in the background.

Not an M3. You can tell by the upright rear screen...and the entire rest of the car. Nice badges, though.

Not a CLS55 AMG. You can tell by the non-AMG wheels and dual (rather than quad) exhausts.

I didn't say it was an M3; I'm content around e30s in general, so I took the pictures ;)

As for the AMG, so many guys tend to grab the AMG aero kit, which doesn't come with the engine designation on the front flares. When I see that, I presume the rest of it is the real deal. Like with M5s, I've stopped taking the pictures unless they're the cooler 63 models.

I find it strange how there is so many wannabe rebadged AMGs out there. Do all of these non-car enthusiast businessmen really scavenge eBay for 55 badges, then spend the weekend flossing off their own badges and double-sided taping new ones on? Seems quite strange. I see the allure of trying to be faster than you are, but it seems like a stretch for a guy who probably doesn't seem like he's into the whole culture to begin with.

👍 Great pics.

Thanks.

I assume he meant a high-resolution version, as the shot itself it an excellent one. I'd be happy with a full-size one as well :P

That's the one. I can't recall having ever seen any here. Thanks guys!

As a Lexus they're US-only but they were sold in Japan as the Toyota Windom for a long time (though not any longer as of 2007).

We've had five generations. '90-'91 was the first gen, called the ES250. Redesigned '92 along with Camry and got a 3.0L V6 becoming ES300. Redesigned again '97, kept the same engine. Redesigned again '02 (the one shown) and kept the same engine through '03 but it got the new 3.3L V6 in '04 to become the ES330. It was just redesigned again for '07 with a new 3.5L V6 to become ES350.

Reputation for being super boring, but it's been the best-selling Lexus car since the ES300 came out in 1992.

Ahh, got it.

Don't know how to host it at original size (3872x2592). You can play with the levels so it looks okay on your own screens. I usually go for a good balance between my lighthouse beacon screen and your darker ones when I resize them.

I think the ES/Windom is one of the most awkward looking cars on the road. I loved the old one.

It was more because it looks like it's in a color I haven't seen before and it looked like a nice one.

Oh; I must have missed that part. You had it under the section "M", so I just assumed.... Oh, well. With each successive BMW release, I find that the M-version always makes the non-M models seem too pedestrian, as if they're missing something. But I guess that's what makes BMW M's so cool.

Yeah, I've seen that a lot. The AMG bodykit seems to be on more than half the Mercedes cars on the road. It usually looks good, but it's starting to make the actual AMG blend in too much. I'm sure it makes Mercedes a lot of money to sell the kits, but I think it takes away some of the "specialness" of the real-deal AMG's. Or maybe no one really cares. They're all big sellers. :)

Weirdly enough, its called the Toyota Mark-X here in Malaysia. (It looks exactly like that or that I got it mixed up....) Its almost as common as the BMW and the Mercedes around here.... 👎

No, I meant a picture of the entire car but I'm assuming now that you don't have that so nevermind. It looks like a great color. But I'll agree that it is a top-notch shot. 👍

Today

I'm cruising around Peachtree Rd. after a doctor's appointment when I saw this ridiculously badass Audi A4 with Colorodo tags. I got in close for a better shot. I saw two Lamborghini's, but I didn't want to miss my Audi shot.

After leaving that place, I cruised up the road to Phipps Plaza where I could have sworn I saw an Audi A4 tailing me. I was kinda scared. Didn't know what was going on. Before leaving I snapped a photo of this Bentley Continental GT, knowing someone else wouldn't bother photographing it.

Nothing to interesting, I know.

Matt!!! That stupid bitch in that E-class wouldn't move; thanks so much for reversing although I eventually toughed it out and waited for her to get through so I could get the shots of the Lambos. You should've said hi!!!!

BTW I saw you taking a photo and I presumed you were photographing the Lambos - I even mentioned to my passenger that the guy behind me took a photo of the Lambos too.

Love the photo - crazy coincidence! :D
