I also saw my first new Impreza STi version today in dark charcoal grey. It looked pretty ace with those flared front wings and aggressive stance!

I figured that if I had seen two over here, you'd reach the "not worth photographing" stage by now? :P

But then again, we were the first country worldwide, including Japan, to get the new Mazda6. I've already got three up my small street.

I think I like the R35 GTR better with the painted lip and skirts. But being that is the first picture I have seen of one with them painted, I cannot be too sure about it.

The front looks better, the rear looks fat. If the rear roof ended lower, it might've worked, tough.

Just saw this. Sorry for the bad picture, I was riding my bike at the time.
Wow, you carry your cam around even when you're riding your bike?
Did you have it turned on already, or you had to turn it on, zoom, focus and shoot while the car was still visible? Kinda stressing if you ask me... :)

Why is it that the only times you're not ready with a camera the good stuff rolls by?! :grumpy:
+1

So frustrating....:grumpy:
No kidding. Recently I've seen my first 612 Scaglietti (cam left at home), my first Quattroporte (cam left at home), and 3 days ago my first NSX (again, cam left at home). Not even funny.

Although I prefer the R35 in black, this colour, with the extra bits painted, really makes the whole edgy (almost boxy) design of the rear stand out. Quite cool, actually. 👍

All correct, I guess having more benefits for using cheaper black bumpers give companies all the more reason to use them, at least for the lower end models. I'm just forwarding what knowledge I was taught, and besides, more often than we realise, a design's true benefits reveals themselves after the production, and became a trend. 💡
I definetly don't disagree with you on black being used by designers as part of the greater design though, juts the Ka was abit off.

My favourite is the centre of the front splitter on the Ferrari Enzo. To see one painted would just look weird.

Saw this today after getting out of my car and about to be on my way to class. Not really sure what to think of it.

I saw this Z32 yesterday and it has to be the absolutely cleanest one I have seen in my life.

I believe Mary Kay gives those pearl pink Cadillacs to their top sales people each year, I see them fairly often in my area however I've never seen one as an XLR :scared:

I was in a classy neck of the woods, so I swung by some valets. S63 is a freaking TANK.

Not many of these made it over, not to mention in this sweet colour and M packaged.

That is what I figured, as some have posted other Cadillacs in pink with the Mary Kay badges on them. I do not remember seeing an XLR one posted.

Must be a fast driver, because he was in New York soon after: ;)

But thankfully he wasn't alone. These were found in my office parking lot:

Bentley Arnage R

Got to love the blacked-out look. One of the few cars bigger than the Land Rovers that normally park on either side of it.

Bentley Continental GT

Posted because partially because I haven't done so in a while, and...

Bentley Continental GTC

...this one was just down the aisle from it. They should probably discuss parking abilities.

These were not:

Nissan Maxima estate/wagon

I had to take a good look at this thing just to make sure it wasn't mis-badged, because I've never heard of it before. But here it is. Live rear axle and all.

Ford Focus Mach Audio ZTS

At first I thought it was just some ricemobile, but the 'mach' logo made me think twice. Looking it up, it's a factory model, but only unique for for the paint job and audio system (which is quite good, from what I hear).

Ford Mustang GT500 Convertible

Parked at a Subaru dealership. I can't imagine he'd trade that for anything there, though. Certainly not the new STI....

Ford Mustang Roush

Not sure how extensive the modifications are, since it could be purely cosmetic, but it's here nonetheless. Front end matched, although for some reason I don't have that photo.

Dodge Charger RT Daytona

I just like the color, folks, I just like the color.

Plymouth Barracuda 340 1970

Love the 'cuda. One of the few cars that actually has its nickname on the car itself.

Jaguar XF 2009

First one I've see on the street, after having seen it at NYIAS. I have to say, Jaguar sure knows how to put out bland vehicles now. This thing stands out slightly more than a Civic, but just less than a Camry. Good car, I'm sure, having been inside, but that's not what Jaguar needs right now. Thankfully the XK is picking up some of the slack...some....

Bentley Arnage T

Good to see someone holding up the old Bentley guard...the old, mostly-a-Rolls-Royce guard.

Ferrari 355

Anyone know which model? GTB? GTS? I wish I knew these better.

Ferrari 360 Spider

Nothing wrong with taking your wife out for a cruise in a Ferrari. :)

Ferrari 456GT

Almost slipped by me as I was walking by. I heard it long before I saw it, but he was really moving. This was the best I could do.

Noble M12 GTO

Two of them, although one was caught by me last year (the silver one). This car shop pulls in all sorts of odd stuff. My last photo from this place had an original Mini Traveller tucked into a corner, and another had a trio of 50's Cadillacs. Go figure.

That's how it goes. But normally it's like a DTS or back in the day, an El Dorado.

ExigeRacer, dang did you have a lucky day!

I don’t think I could ever tire of seeing V8 Vantages. Such a perfectly-formed car.

Some nice spots from everyone! I particularly like the blacked out Bentley Arnage.

There's some pretty nice scenery and wildlife around where I live, so I always take my camera with me when I go out on my bike. Yes I stopped, turned it on and zoomed in. The car wasn't going that fast at the time and my zoom's not bad for a compact plus at 12 megapixels it's easier to get okay resolution on objects that are far away.

After I saw that DB9 on road, I absolutely fell in love with Astons. I saw another DB9 last night in the city but only caught a slight glimpse of its side. V8V's are perfect.

We got those. In fact, my dad had three of them as company cars. We got them badged as Bluebirds. :indiff:

Harry, the 355 is a Berlinetta (GTB) the one with the targa roof is a GTS. Same as on the 308, 328 and 365 models. Hope this helps.

I left my mem card in my card reader at home today, so had to take this on my phone...

I think i still prefer the DB9 over the V8 vantage tbh, there is a V8V local to me now and it doesnt beg me to stop and take pics of it...

I've not yet even seen a DB9 in the flesh though, well only once, it was tailing me ages ago on some short stretch of carriageway, i drooled a little!

Rue, whats up with the RS' wheels? They look horrible compared to the stockers...

I had a very exciting sighting today.

As I was walking to my car after classes today, I was thinking to myself, it sure would be really neat to see that Ferrari F355 Spider I caught a glimpse of a couple days ago (on Tuesday to be exact). I should have made mention of it in the thread; but alas, I did not, because I had only really caught a glimpse of it and that was it (but boy was I ever excited to catch a glimpse of a F355 Spider).

As I was walking along, jamming to a tune on my iPod, I heard a sound that did not really sound very ordinary. At first, I thought it might have been a bike, but that really did not make too much sense to me. So I kept walking and then heard another sound. After that, I decided I needed to turn around and have a look to see what might be making the sound. Sure enough, it was a red Ferrari F355 Spider and what I am assuming is the same one I saw a few days ago. As the guy drove by, I felt the need to give him a thumbs up and he saw me and acknowledged it. I watched closely to where he was going and the sounds the car was making. At that point, I was extremely excited, could feel my heart beating a little faster, and was very happy to hear part of the glorious sound only a Ferrari V8 can make.

Let me just say, this sighting completely made my day and I have had a bit of a grin on my face since. I apologize for the lack of pictures, but I was too busy admiring one of Italy's finest to try and fumble around for my phone. I only hope I get to see this car again and hopefully get to talk to the owner if he is willing to spare a few minutes.

So it looks like things are finally happening this summer. Til now it has been mostly executive sedans and a couple GTs, but things are starting to pop out. I don't know what weekends are like up in that end of town, so maybe I'll see some of the specialer cars soon. Still no Lotus though!!! I obviously can't wait to see an Elise or Exige, but I was thinking when the last time I saw an Esprit was, and it certainly has been a few years.

Dude, these two shots are made of win, just awesome.
(Would you be a really nice chap and send me both of them full-sized? Thanks, mate.)

I'll second that thought of the Esprit, probably over 10 years since I saw my last one. Although it's not remotely the same, I see an occasional Elan. Are they rare over there or not really?

Was it a Carrera 4? I see an identical one downtown, might be the same dude.

It didnt have any kind of emblem on the back.

Nice GT3 pic but i consider driveway spots to be "cheating" as i know what house to drive by if i wanted to spot cars.
