Can be the name of the driver if it's a girl/woman or the name
of the drver is girlfriend or is woman. :)

Ya I figured as much, but still it's rather comical. Although if the normal person saw it they probably wouldn't instantly think car.

Those plates were issued somewhere between '92 and '95; they've been passed down to the IS-F which you can do in CO (and is becoming more and more popular as more and more people prefer the old style)

Beetles with leather seats are cool; did you notice it's got a flat?

More from me, a 1969 Mustang that has been like this for at least five years, the hood where it is, its very sad.

this common thing, very uncommon here:

very rusty Renault 4:

circus-painted 55 chevy panel, this thing was cool!

fgbv040.jpg

clean Jetta with aftermarket stuff and the whole crew over it

fgbv045.jpg

nothing special here, but I really liked the scene with all the trash; two weeks later it was rolled over, a month later it was gone and the place was turned into a truck impound lot; no idea where this ended, but nothing was lost, really. I just liked the picture.

oh man, I'd kill to have one. Big block also, due to the shaker (missing) and in rough shape but very few rust, but a lot of bondo. It's not there anymore ):

fr004.jpg

a very, very rare here BSA Rocket, check out the three exhaust tips.
fgbv046.jpg

53 dodge 2-door wagon, I'd so lower and hemify one of these, big Hallibrands and all.

1969 Mustang with real Cragars, GT351:
challenger001.jpg

This Renault 10 was being used as an advertising plate for the owner's auto air conditioning business; it's still there, still used for the same. What's with Renaults being used as business cards?
cen086.jpg

Bertone Fiat, these are really rare here:
cen077.jpg

37 Chevy Sedan humpback, rainy!
cen074.jpg

anyone can tell me what this is? motorhomes here are reaaaally rare, and this one seemed old and primitive, so it was a sure snap, abandoned and for sale, too.
cen073.jpg

59-60 I think Fargo flatbed.
cen065.jpg

Peugeot in good shape, it could be a good project:
cen057.jpg

this is one of those cars that are in extraordinary shape, look at it, its absolutely complete, but its a 4-door; no worry, find a 64 coronet two door in bad shape and transplant everything from this car, then hemify it. Its one of the best parts cars I've ever seen.
cen056.jpg

1948 Chevy Panel in pretty good condition, white wall it and big block it and put some green flames on it, and there it goes.
cen055.jpg

looowwwwwww 66 mustang with American torq-Thrusts, pretty nice, but maybe a I-6 -_-
cen033.jpg

check out the bodywork in this bug! it has been stretched on its hood and shortened on the rear, custom fenders and of course, ragtop; sadly, I found it like you see it like 5 years ago, and it is STILL in the same place. I'd so drive it.
carlos008.jpg

these two were near the stretched VW, in front a Renault 4 Van, I soooo love these things, and have yet to find one that works!!!! this one is absolutely dead.
carlos009.jpg

behind it, I think its a 58, Plymouth Belvedere 4-door that is also gooooone, not even as parts car... well, maybe, but nothing from the exterior.
carlos010.jpg

this was neat, its a 48 Chevy Panel with home-added side windows, but it was there as a shoe repair shop, I shot this on a sunday, but on week days, the owner opens the rear doors and repairs shoes there.
carlos011.jpg

1956 chevy 4 door post car, it may serve as parts car (as all four doors) but it's pretty rusty.
carlos012.jpg

1962 Biscayne! these are hard to come by here, but it's a 4-door... even so, its in decent shape and pretty repairable, I'd go over it and paint it primer gray with red scallops and red steel wheels, air suspension, 327 withthree carbs, mexican blanket interior... oh yeah.
carlos003.jpg

this was SAD: a 1957 Chevy Bel Air that was absolutely dead, hardtop too, maybe the most desirable 57 of all, turned into a pile of rust; the other rear quarter panel was just gone, gone up to the tailfin. this car has disapeared, and with good reason, it should be in a junkyard. Sadly.
carlos002.jpg

what's left of a 47 Plymouth 4 door; as hard to believe as it is, I just passed by this car again and its now primered!!!! I cant see how they fixed that.
carlos001.jpg

and now, the obligatory rice:

wtf...

omg:

no words, damn...

Wow... if I ever needed to get a project car I can just go down to Mexico a pick up a couple of nice rare old American cars for super cheap and fix them up.

I have a car near me you would like Cano... But sadly it's gone now, it was a black first generation Charger... Yeah with the fast back and all. Missing a few things but perfectly restorable... I wanted it so damn bad.

I would so buy that '69 Mustang. It would make for an awesome project car.

It was getting dark, so I couldn't get very sharp shots for these first two cars.

M3 (E46) - I love the black around the grille

Nice shots from Mexico, Cano! Its always nice to see some things from a foreign country that isn't one of the usual suspects. Last I was in Mexico, all I remember seeing were early '90s Nissan Sentras and old VW Bugs, so those old American finds are just plain awesome. The funny thing is that in my family, we've owned some version of most of the cars you've posted there at one time or another...

Incredible spot on the R63 which has already been cancelled. White wheels don't signify anything on the Audi Quattro Coupe - it's not an S car as the first one wasn't until 93 (S4 based on the 100) and the Quattro Coupe was cancelled in 91. That car is awful but it's rare. I wish there WAS an S version - it'd be pretty cool

Unfortunately I didn't get to hear the R63. It would have been such a sight to hear that coming from a minivan. As for the Audi, I first guessed it could have just been German aftermarket wheels, but the wheelcaps had me second-guessing my second-guess. And they really did look familiar. Oh well.

Err, am i missing something? I thought the Audi S2 was the S version of the audi 80 coupe? And even if it wasn't it was introduced in 1991, therefore making it before the S4 based off the 100....
:dopey:

That's what I thought at first, too, even though I knew they were officially never available in the us. I've seen even recent Rovers imported here, so I figured anything was possible.

what is it with that place that it always has awsome Muscle Cars? Ram Air too! dude, get some decent shots of that thing please! it looks perfect.

The V-Rod also looks snister, I was on the presentation of that in Mexico, since my aunt works at HD here.

The Carrera Gt, what amazes me is that it's a commuter car, no better use for that thing.

I'll get better shots tomorrow. It's still there. Why stuff like that sits there is beyond me. It's just a gas station. A gas station in one of the wealthiest towns in the world, but a gas station nonetheless. I'm sure there are more appropriate places these cars could be looked at. And that Carrera GT has been there all week, every day, top open to the sky all day. I can hear him goose it from across the parking lot...1/4 mile away.

(and some would say we only got the boring models until the RS4!)

(some would say they're all a little boring until the RS4 ;) )

Uh, the 944 Turbo is the more interesting car. :odd:

exigeracer, nice photography as always. 👍 I just want to say this just to make myself better..... OMG, a Prius!!!!!!! Yeah, at least it less common than the Aston in this thread.... As for the F430 and the Matte Galardo, looks quite clean and

Thanks folks.

Yep, F430 Scuderia. Even at idle it sounded mean, and I've heard my share of F430s (stock, modified, Challenge etc). He didn't really open up the valves even.

And yes, it appeared to be a stock Gallardo Spider painted matte black. There was some visible piping up front, which could've been IC packaging, but could've also been radiator work.

May I please, please have the originals of those two for wallpaper use?

Do you photograph as a profession or aspire to? or just do it for the hell of it?

Nope, just for fun. I'd like to get into automotive photograpahy, but it's a tough field and I can't afford much more than the equipment I have now. I wouldn't mind doing it on the side for shiggles.
