Here's another bike-to-car photo. Still need to dial in that sharpness, although I doubt it's very possible riding a bicycle.

Why the hell is there a Mecano spoiler on a C-Class coupe? And those side-skirts are godawful. Rims are nice though, but the rest is *meh*. But each to their own I guess.

Saw this on the way to work this morning, the car sounded awesome and the guy blipped the throttle slowing down for the light. Certainly made my morning better.

Saw this on the way home, I have no idea what it is though.

The AMG SLC gullwing has been spotted testing in Michigan (not sure which city), so Joey D, YSSMAN, and others that live there keep an eye out.

... I wonder what happened to the Viper-bodied one in Denver?

Yup I'll be on the look out for it but the only test mules we get around here are Ford's, GM's and Chrysler's.

Any downshift automatically blips the throttle w/ the F1 tranny. Cool spot!

Hi all, I'm here but way to busy with work during the summer period to be able to get out and about. I haven't even had time to look at the thread for a while. Still, looks like everyone is keeping it real. See you soon...

Well its nice to hear from you again Rue. Well hopefully your workload will decrease and have more time posting your awesome spots here..... :)

CONGRATS!!!! It looks awesome!!! How is it?!?

Absolutely wonderful! It is a 2005 with just about 5900 miles on it now. The last two days I have driven the 3kGT to work because of not knowing what the insurance situation was on the car. That was pretty much squared away today and I should get some more driving done in it soon if the weather is nice the next few days. (And I did! :D)

The car has the better standard transmission I have driven; though, I have only driven probably a half dozen standards. The clutch is easy on your left leg and the shifter's throws are very short.

The car is an absolute blast. Everything about it is wonderful. The transmission is very easy to use. The handling is superb. The headlights brightly light up the car and are just plain awesome. I do not know that I have ever done anything as addicting as getting this car up into range when the VTEC switches on. The transition to the more aggressive profile on the cams is pretty much seamless, except for the kick in your back because of the increased power. I drove around for about an hour and a half tonight and could not have had any more fun. :D

The only bad part about the experience was burning through about 3/8s of a tank of gas.

Awesome car, enjoy it. 👍

I very much plan on it! 👍

At Leicester Square last night. Gutted as i couldn't get a shot of the Ferrari F40 which zoomed by after these shots :(

X5.
He'll probably be claiming ownership upon showing those shots to his various associates.

Whenever I'm photographing a car, one of the most common comments I get is "hey, you like my car?"

It's so obvious that it isn't that I'm considering starting to say "actually, it's mine..." just to embarass them infront of their chump friends.

those two cars are from the UAE I believe. Great spots, I was wondering when one of our boys were going to graph them.

Saab.

Citroen DS.

Those are awesome, as is the Escort!!! I'd like more of those

post!

1968 Galaxie fastback, for parts maybe.
challenger004.jpg

1969 mexicano dodge Dart GTS, 318ci V8, Hurst-shifted 4-speed, 270 hp when new, fastest car in mexican streets in its day; today, for parts maybe or a very good restorer, these have a strong following:
challenger005.jpg

1956 Ford 4-door, very good shape, could be an awesome parts car for a two door.
challenger006.jpg

European Ford Taunus, imported from Germany to here in very small numbers, I've found some but this one is the roughest:
challenger009.jpg

1965 Mustang hardtop in very good shape!! could be very good project for a 302 swap.

challenger010.jpg

1947 Ford coupe that has had a 80s Ford picukp grille transplanted into it's mouth; could also be a very good street rod project.
challenger014.jpg

1946 De Sotto four door, very good shape! and used regularly, I saw it later several times on the street.
challenger015.jpg

I found these wackos on a walmart, seemed to be a school event or something like that.

A Hillman Mynx ragtop (!) abandoned in a garage, I was passing by and the doors were oppened; i knew about the car but had never been able to photo it; look at the shape of that thng, a set of tires, a batt, and off you go.
chav001.jpg

These are extraordinarily rare here, a 1963 Plymouth four door; this is the ONLY one I've seen, so finding a two-door of one could be a good challenge, because for parts this had everything you needed.

But then you take the risk of them possibly being the owner, by some how-in-hell chance.
Holy crap! I may not know a lot about MG's, but I know that is one MG you don't see everyday!

That was close to what happened with this one:

edit - forgot to mention the dumb mirrors on the red Gallardo (probably the most amazing colour ever... holy mackerel that was such a gorgeous deep red) but I am all for photographing stranger's cars as much as I want in public, but touching is out of the question. While I was snapping, three guys (guys, not men, they looked late 20s) walked by, politely holding on obstructing my shot, then asking if it was my car. I replied with the cute "I wish!" They chuckle, and as they walked by, one of them grabs a set of keys out of his pocket and blips the Lamborghini's alarm. I guess a cute little "I'm flattered, but hands off."

What is with you and four doors Cano. If it's in good shape as a four door, why not keep it as a four door, lol.

Check out that Cadillac (I think) behind the R8. Looks awesome.

EDIT: By the way, that 1963 Plymouth is a Fury
