the ibiza and impreza will be back for that one ;)

I actually want it to be a wet start to the day, as I'd really like to see a few wet laps, especially through the Esses and up through Quarry. Then again, I better not wish bad weather on the day, as I'll probably end up regretting it.

Sorry to be kind of annoying, but does anyone know of a site that list production numbers, ie. quantity, or a certain car, say a Chrysler Lebaron convertible turbo?

not a clue, i saw a lebaron the other day actually, not a common sight in the uk, a coupe this one though.

ive only seen lebaron convertible turbo mentioned one other place, and that i stumbled upon by accident looking for giant resolution car pics.

check out the gallery for the pics i found

If I could figure out how to get pictures from my phone to my PC, I could post the Black Ferrari F355 Berlinetta and the Porsche Speedster I saw today.

I was drooling at the Ferrari, so beautiful.

What the hell is this?

If you look really, really close you can see a Diablo VT in front of him and a Cayenne Turbo in front of the Lambo. I tried to get a shot of the VT, but the bastard was too fast.

I'd kill for such a site. To my knowledge, none exist.

What the hell is this?

No idea - and Google's not helping much. Anyone?

Good sightings by the way - I wish I could see that Diablo VT!!

On July 16th - I was on my way to my own wedding with a good friend of mine and we saw the "UberKar"... We were on C470 westbound and I chased him down in my little red SRT4 not really breaking 85MPH - He obviously had the confidence to know that he could roll me up and smoke me anytime he wished - But I really just wanted him to open it up so I could see exactly what it could do...
Obviously the car looks great just sitting still - and with the $400,000 price tag - He has not a damn thing to prove to anyone! Great car - I told my friends about it and happened to google "UberKar" and found your post. Thanks for the images!

I saw a Peugeot 307 CC. Not so great, but the number plate was "C9"

I figured that would be costly.

my holiday sightings

at luton airrport car park:

CLK 55

old 911 carrerra

best of the best competition

in spain:
360- it overtook us at about 7 million MPH so thats the best i could do, and in a punto hire car we didnt fancy our chances of catching it up.

back in luton
GT: i had the camera on the wrong bloody setting and i only realised in the car on the way home: DO'H!

 That's great!

For those of you who don't know what he's talking about:

July 4, 2006 - Denver, Colo.

I always wondered where that car was registered - C-470 means it must've been Douglas County - no surprise there! Very cool - thanks for mentioning it!!

I literally said, "What the **** is that?" when he passed by. I should've tried to get a shot of the front (it looked really funky), but that's kind of tricky (dangerous) when you're driving.

Oh, congrats on getting into Emory. 👍

The 'GP3' car looks very Ferrari looking, due to the tail-lights, so it could either be a special edition or just stickered up... Although towards the front end it looks more Americanish. I'm sure I've seen one before but can't remember anything about it. Anyone able to tell us which State it's license plate is from?

I saw my first Aston Martin DB9 that wasn't flying past at speed or in a dealer

Also, it's in the spot where a Merc E55 was previous, so I'm guessing the owner has upgraded and I'll see it more often :D

Really? Looks like some sort of kit-car to me.

California.

I was down in central London last week (nice cars galore), didn't see the usual Ferrari 430 but did see a Gallardo convertible in white and black, but that isn't the reason I'm posting. I saw a merc sitting in traffic the other side that looked different from the 100's of boring samey looking E classes and S classes and whatever. It had a REALLY low ride-height and a rear wing, and reminded me of the DTM merc. So I looked it up and found a pic of this:

merc-dtm2.JPG

I still can't believe I saw something THIS rare - is there any other more common merc that would have the rear wing and that aggresive look?

P.S. going into central London today, hopefully I can take some pics with my phone.

It probably would have been that Merc - the CLK isn't normally a target for ricers.

Good spot 👍

Nice, it was just by Green Park station coming up to Piccadilly - the same road (end of A4) I saw the Lambo. DAMN I wish I had my phone!

So now we know where the plate is from is there anyway of tracking it? Surely there can't be many of those around as it looks like a kit car or a specialty as no-one on here (M5Power) has seen one.

I hate to do this: what car are we discussing again?
