997 (I think the first Turbo I've seen in person)

Are Turbo's really all that rare? I see quite a lot of them in my area for some reason and never bother to take photos. Only 911s I take photos of are GT3, GT2, and the odd older models.

Sorry about the crap quality, I only had my cell phone at hand. Anyway, today I saw an M5 (hard to tell in the pic but its got the M5 badge) and a decent looking skyline (R33 i think but correct me if im wrong).

The skylines are pretty common around here but since I saw a previous post saying you guys wana see stuff like this (?)

In my city they're rare; I live in a college town, which I hear in general aren't very good for too many high-end cars (though I've posted a few; even a couple ultra-rare special editions; according to Doug, there even used to be an MC12 here). But yes, in big cities, they are pretty common.

This evening. Lotus Exige S in matte black. Best car I have seen ever. Also rare colour CLK55 AMG.

Nice Lotus. Stealthy...

Today:

Citroen 2CV van. Not exactly a common sight in the UK.

Next to that, was this:

I expect it was in being re-trimmed, as it was outside a leather and trim store!

Now, this, more than a riced Bug, is a testament to the owner’s incredibly stupid ingenuity… WHAT THE HECK are those tubes doing there? Ram Air? Tuba Induction? Yeah, to the spare tire… I dunno, this was so weird. It just needs a hose.Red bumpers, owner’s name written, Scream… pish posh.

Well i'm just guessing, but maybe he connected those tubes to the "fresh air system" that Beetles have. Usually air goes through the small vents on the hood under the windshield, through a plastic device that diverts it to small vents inside the cabin. The tubes are probably much more efficient.

That Exige is incredible!! Wow!

Hey Zonderf- what's the name of the yellow Ferrari racer. The one that was doing laps with the 333SP? Thanks! -kevin

I have no idea who was doing laps in the 333sp, the only two people who I know were driving were Rik Bryan in the TDF Blue FXX and Preston Henn in the Yellow FXX.

My only spot for today was an Elise.

Brilliant Aston spot!

And the weather in Georgia looks soooo inviting, especially since it's 40 and snowing/raining here.

This is one of our friends race cars. It is a Lotus(obviously), but it has an S2000 turbo powering it.:) Very fast, wheelspin in 4th apparently. Also uses a standard H-pattern gearbox.

man, if only my parents were friends with racers and bought AC cobra replicas:(

On the upside, my dad is good friends with some guy in England who has a DB6 like the one shown a few posts back. I don't want to see this in the "rediculus clain" thread as I have only evey seen one picture of it...but I'm going over soon and will hopefully get to drive it. (he's that sort of guy).

A better photo of the MR2 in my village

It's a Scion xB here in the states, I think it's called the Corolla Rumion in other parts of the world.

Hideous paint job on the Scorpion

He might at least have painted a scorpion on instead of a snake...
