Hideous paint job on the Scorpion

He might at least have painted a scorpion on instead of a snake...

well if you want to get really technical there are at least two scorpions on there... He must have a fetish for dangerous things, snakes, scorpions, and a vehicle that can kill you in more creative ways than either of it's parents.

Oeh, first time I see this thread! Some verry neat cars in here! I'm kind of a spotter myself, but don't have much time to search for some exotics..

This is from this month..

^ Spotted this beauty when I drove home, when I got home I grabbed my camera and drove back..

I also spotted a Cayenne Gemballa BiTurbo, Rolls Phantom, F355 GTS, 456M GT, heavy tuned Evo 7, F430 Spider, DB9 and an Exige S1. But those spots are pretty aged and I only have them uploaded to the spotting site where I'm a member..

^^ Nice spots and some great pics you've got there. 👍
Which camera do you have?

HFS - Nice one! I'm still to see one off the road, let alone rolling...

I'm still thinking how fugly that Scorpion is and how cool is the MR2 Rue posted...

Thanks man :dopey:
I use the Nikon D90, 18-105mm with (when the weather is good) a polarise(not sure if the word is good) filter.. I've much more photos, but mostly of motocycles. A friend of mine is a motorhead and made me into one to..

Cool spots all around, Neocrox 👍

that 6 wagon is sick Rue, thanks. Also, incredible Mercedes!! amazing!

Neocrox, great spots also, nice to see someone here who knows his way around a camera!

And Cyborg, you take the show, very cool spots, specially the ratized pickup, I love the teeth and how the chop scars show.

Actually that's a Charger Daytona. Note the mini grille with foglights (turnsignals?) on the leading edge of the nose, while the Superbird has it on the underside of the nose.

Thanks for the correction. It was dark, had aftermarket wheels, and what appears to be part of a roll cage. If the sun decides to return sometime soon, I'll take better photos then.

DKX
Hate to burst your bubble, but thats a 1969 Dodge Charger SE made to look like a Daytona which is owned by Mr. Angry.

Check link: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3100151

Still a sweet spot though!

Really? I'll really have to get photos now.

Dude, DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE what is wrong with you? ok ok you got the big block chicken, cool, but come ON, how could you ignore the T-bird in front of it? think about me once in a while!!!! :nervous::nervous::nervous:

I posted that turquoise work-in-progress about 2 years ago, but I can get better photos if you like. It doesn't appear to have moved since I first saw it 3 years ago.

Cano
Oh got damn, this thing looks hot, check out the aftermarket wheels, the red brake calipers behind them and the racing seats... you HAVE to get this car in a decent picture. Even getting down your car and snapping it ON purpose. The BMW in the background seems intresting also.

Yeah, I'll get that again. I was just a bit rushed that day. The BMW...I don't know. I'll have to see.

Cano
That has got to be the most destroyed car I've ever seen, and as you know, i've seen my big fat share of rustbuckets. That makes it one of the coolest spots lately. Awesome.

It was certainly a sight to behold. I guess it could be going to a breaker's yard, but this seemed to be going the wrong way, opposite where I'd expect one to be. It'd be a hell of a restoration, though.

Landau! *drinks*

Oh, wait...wrong game....

I like this game better:

Buell XB12XT

It must be the downsizing everyone's trying on for size that's bringing out all the bikes. This is the first Buell I've ever seen.

Ford Mustang Mach 1 2002

Aesthetics aside, essentially the same as the lukewarmed-up Bullitt, and just as rare for that reason. Heck, Cobra's of that period are more common.

Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG 2002

Not as popular as the C32, but not quite the cool cache the C43 had. I'll take the C43 over this, but not over any pre-1993 M3. ;)

Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG 2001

Side exhaust right under the passenger's feet! Yes!

Pontiac G6 GXP

Driving behind this for a while, I was convinced that this had to be a aftermarket modification. I was sure of it. But Pontiac's website proved me wrong: GM's taste really is that bad.

"Wiley"

I can not, for the life of me, remember what it said on the side. The badging looked original, even if the car was clearly not. Looked loud and fast, though, and quite fun.

Neocrox, great spots also, nice to see someone here who knows his way around a camera!
Thanks man, I'll sure do:dopey:

btw, welcome to the DYSAGT thread. You've certainly made a promising start to your spotting career!

It's cute, that TT is playing dress up to look like it's big brother.

Oh and that Mitsuoka Viewt is awesome.

Far from normal from me, I have many spots from one day. My previous post was a week's worth! Most of these are muscle cars, which is both unusual and cool. However, the Angrier from my last post appears to have gone back home. Sorry, I missed it! I should have gone by sooner.

Audi S8 2001 & 2008

I would have skipped these as I saw them on the same block, except that they were on the same block. Neat!

Aston Martin DBS

Technically seen in the wild, I guess...but it's got dealer plates, so....

Jeep Grand Cherokee TSi 1997

The second one I've ever seen, but the first time I've seen a dog driving one.

Ford Mustang 1967

Another non-special edition, but looking good in highland green.

Chevrolet Nova 1970

Not a special edition, but super-bright red.

AMC Javelin 1972

Doesn't that large white graphic on the hood signify something? Looked cool, though, and that's the second classic AMC in the area in as many weeks.

Ford Thunderbird 1965

For Cano! It's perfect for you: classic American metal, a work-in-progress, and it's been there for years. ;)

...and the definition of proper juxtaposition:

Rue: There's a few (well at least 2) RS6 avants (the new ones) hanging around north Sydney where I am. I'll try and snap them if I have a camera at the time. There was one at TopGear Live and it tried to do a burnout. All the stunt drivers said the road surface was really slippery, but it took the RS6 like 3 or 4 turns to get any spin out of the rears.

My birthday's coming up and it really is a toss up between a wheel and stand or a DSLR.

Thoughts? I want a nikon because my dad's film SLR is a niko an I'll use the lenses.

Jeep Grand Cherokee TSi 1997

The second one I've ever seen, but the first time I've seen a dog driving one.
Haha the TSi, interesting but certainly not as cool as the rare 5.9 Limited.

AMC Javelin 1972

Doesn't that large white graphic on the hood signify something? Looked cool, though, and that's the second classic AMC in the area in as many weeks.

Yeah, it's a special package called the "Go Package", which "included the choice of a 360 or 401 4-barrel engine; also "Rally-Pac" instruments, handling package for the suspension, limited-slip “Twin-Grip” differential, heavy-duty cooling, power disk brakes, white-letter E60x15 Goodyear Polyglas tires on 15x7-inch styled slotted steel wheels )used on the Rebel Machine, T-stripe hood decal, and a blacked-out rear taillight panel."
