Nice pics Paul. Funnily enough the yellow Celica was on the front of an HK car mag the day after you told me you saw it in LKF. It should still be on the shelves. Also, remember we were talking about Elgrands/Alphards etc.? Count the white 'Phards in your first pic with the Hilux!

Oh gawd, now you're asking... I have no idea. Possibly Car Plus or maybe even Car and Driver. They had a feature with HK drivers and their 80's Japanese cars, including an AE86 and 1st gen MR-2 and that Celica.

Rue, great spot on the Diablo. Not quite convinced, personally, that it's a legit SE30 as it's missing 2 features that are standard on the car. Could also be #118 from Shangai, but that car does retain those features.

I see that it's missing the small window frame that rolls down. But besides that the only differences between pictures I can find are indicator lights on the sides of the rear bumper (which it doesn't have) and a round metal fuel door (which is does have). The Jota has roof intake scoops, but the SE30 that Top Gear tested back in the day doesn't. Is there a difference between between an SE30 and SE30 Jota?

The Jota has roof intake scoops, but the SE30 that Top Gear tested back in the day doesn't. Is there a difference between between an SE30 and SE30 Jota?

To answer your question, those 2 intakes are part of the Jota package & are the only exterior differences. If you've also spent some time studying the exhaust that comes standard on the SE30 & the one equipped with the Jota package, you can see some differences as the Jota's exhaust is a full blown race system that contributes much to the reason of the Jota being not street legal. Other than that, the differences go deeper down into how the car is setup & tuned for an extra 50 horses.

Since we're talking about Audi R8s, the other day in Wan Chai while I was walking through that infamous foot bridge towards Grand Hyatt, I saw a stunning red R8 drive by. Couldn't get my camera out in time though... Wondering if you've ever spotted it, or one. They look great in red!

It's possible the fellow ordered early on, but I've been told that the cars won't start hitting the streets until the Fall either.

I'm just making sure because someone I know was quite interested in the Panamera but did not want to wait so long for it. (Probably going to get a new XJ ) But i'm sure I read a very in-depth autoblog review that said it was to be released in October.

Noop, the one I saw had a red roof and red rear, so a V8 according to my newly found knowledge.
