Nice spot, I can tell from your text message that you were quite stunned. I presume you raced home guarding your camera's memory card in a sealed bag in a hidden pocket underneath the collar of your jacket, don't ask how I know :D
Didn't you see this car once before? seemed to remember a very blurry photo you took

You're not wrong. Also, throw in a 250GT SWB into the bargain. Crap photo though...

No pictures (YET!) but a very clean, and spotless 1967 Ford Mustang convertible with the 289 at my local mall.

I'll be going back very soon and getting a picture or two.

And don't worry Cano, I'm still on the prowl for cars.. winter is just making it hard.

You'd better. I still have thousands of pictures to show, so dont you lag behind! We need to make this place smell of rust!

Had another good spot today. To give you a clue, I think they must have named a popular energy drink after this actual car. Will post later.

Here are some spots from yesterday including the mighty California. Tags later.

Being from the east, thats not an issue for me :P

And I never leave home without the camera.. car spotting has taken me over :)

Amazing spots Rue!

@ Rue

HOLY cRaP!!!

Now that is an impressive list of car pics!! Most of those cars i've never even seen in real life :(

Wow, very nice! I love those Nissan Skyline four doors, they look just so purposeful. I'd love one.

Also, a very nice bright red Diablo, my favorite car years ago. It still ranks up there.

And, is that... a 924?

Don't normally post in here as I either never see anything worth posting or I don't ever get a photo of it, but I had a little gold rush of them today and had a rubbish camera (relatively) handy.

Nissan Pao (this actually lives in the car park of my uni accomodation, I just never bothered to snap it until now)

Did also see an SL with these AMG rims and a DB9, but I wasn't quick enough to snap them.

The Mazda above is a CX-7 👍

And Jondot, nice spots on the Pao and the Bristol. I don't recall having seen a Pao myself on the roads yet, just plenty of Figaros. Never seen one of those Bristols.

It's funny the things you don't bother photographing because you see them every day though. It's why I don't bother with new M3s, Audi R8s and most Porsche 911s. I know of numerous places in my city I can go and see them every day if I want to - it's not really a challenge for me to snap them.

Agreed. Excellent spot on the Bristol! I don't think I will ever see one of those here. What car did that model borrow the back lights off? Looks like an old Rover 8-Series.

Yes, the People's Porsche - complete with VW van engine.

@ Rue: it's almost insulting... I mean, after more than a year of participating here and checking this thread daily and seeing this kind of posts from you several times, I still have difficulties believing you can see so many incredible cars in two hours. It's just not good for your health.

@ Skyline: The tank may also be not good for your health O_o

NISMO_SKYLINE I'm really liking those Raptors, they are definitely the best looking pickup trucks in a long time. Whats with all the 4WD Imprezas and Evolutions? some rally meet?

Some rather nice cars I saw yesterday, nothing too exciting but felt worthy of sharing

Pfft Rue, propogating the stereotype ;) It was an Audi engine, tuned for the Porsche and de-tuned for the van...

@ Dac_Xint, love the purple Skyline. I'm not too fussed on R33s but that shot has great energy 👍

Typical. Here's me thinking I've found a rare car, and it turns out to be the second in 10 posts. Damn you Jon! ;)

Bristol Blenheim 3:

As I've now started working where I spotted it, hopefully I'll see it again with a proper camera.

Gran Turismo on the M3:

Hey Paul, I saw that R32 at a distance yesterday in Hung Hom near the Cross Harbour Tunnel. I couldn't work out whether the plate read GT 32 which I thought would have been pretty cool on the appropriate Skyline or GZ 32 which wouldn't. Your photo cleared that one up. Excellent photos as usual, btw!

I may have a shot of that purple R33 from a while back. If it's the same one then it also fooled me until I'd uploaded the photo. Will see if I can dig it out:

nis_r33gts_ge145-1.jpg

I was out with my girlfriend yesterday and didn't get an opportunity to take any car snaps although I got a great one on the way home. It's no supercar or even a car with sporting intentions, or even a car for that matter, but I know you and many others on the thread have a soft spot for them. Pic later.

Also, it appears the sun has returned to Hong Kong, so I'm expecting even more nice stuff to be on the roads and will do my upmost to get out there and take more pics.

Excellent spot on the Bristol, Roo. Ridiculous coincidence that another one of our members pipped you to the post on such a rare car.

zonderf, does any supercar in Atlanta have it's original wheels?!

While I wouldn't call most of the cars I see supercars, there are plenty of them that have stock wheels but the ones that have aftermarket wheels are soooo bad they just stick out like a sore thumb. There was even a point during the summer that I almost stopped taking pictures of stock 430's and Gallardo's because they were so common and we were seeing the same few cars every day.

Oh lord, my boss put me in a bigger office and it overlooks the main road. It's been a non-stop procession of amazing cars, but I can't really use my camera or I won't get any work done. Then this exact car rolls by about 2 minutes ago...

shelby_cobra_427_1967.jpg

Right, I'm going out for a 'coffee' break!

homeforsummer Thanks for the complement, the photo was so blury and grainy I had to do quite a lot of retouching to make it presentable. Totally worth it though :-D

Roo the Bristol looks so awesome in the way that it looks like a car from GTA, of course I mean the other way around. So simple but cool with that long bonnet. Never seen one in my life, but I doubt I'd recognize it if I saw one anyway.

zonderf nice NSX spot, and that Lambo is sick!!

Rue it looks like the R33 owner dropped down the outrageous rear spoiler, it is the same car, but I'm still unsure if its a GT-R. I can't see any signs that it is, considering that no GT-R owner will ever remove that badge. I did see a white R34 GT with a GT-R badge one that night with a black spoiler that looks like the factory spoiler. I couldn't get my camera out in time for a good shot and only managed to capture it going half way around a corner. See if you have this car (numberplate __ 6616)

Lemee guess. You told him he had a sick car but didn't say those sentiments were from some guy on an internet forum? :P j/k

I haz idea for you. If you run a DSLR, you could fit your wide angle lens, put it on a tripod, look on the road where the viewfinder covers, get a remote shutter trigger, when you see a nice car - press, job done, and you dodn't need to fiddle with the camera. :D

But it doesn't have the blistered rear arches of a GT-R. :(

6616 sounds familiar but I don't seem to have a pic of anything with that plate. There's this one, but obviously I don't know what the number was.
