Quite jealous on people seeing this drive by, but can find some Lamborghinis at a dealer close by.
Found this one back, this Lamborghini Diablo is stored in a public parking lot, has special 👍 2 tone paint (purple, green) and is covered with dust:tdown:.

A bit of a shame since the owner of a very rare CLK DTM AMG Convertible (80 ever made) wouldn't let me photograph his car... oh well...
There aren't many of these around here, so I thought its worth a snap. I think same goes for the United States

That seems to the common shape for those Lightnings anymore. Sure sounded good though, either it has a good system or no system at all I don't know.

Well, for the ones that get no love! Luckily there's people who actually take care of the things.

Went for another drive in the beetle again!
First, we stopped at my dad's friends garage and saw these:
Black AMG Mercedes:
SL 55(?)
70's VW Type 3 Fastback:
And then on the way to another garage to see a old Mustang, i spotted this old "Ponton" Mercedes on the other side of the road, so we did a super quick u-turn and raced through the traffic to get a picture, it was epic!
Unfortunately the garage was closed when we got there, but this was parked outside:
I'm not exactly what it is, i'm guessing some late 40's/early 50's British car,

I'm amazed at the quality spots you are getting in Mumbai!
Whereabouts are you based? I spend a fair amount of time in between Mumbai and Pune as the company I work for has an office in Nariman Point.
The nicest car I've seen on the street was this S Class Mercedes

it's soooo Mexico, just replace Fiats with VW Bugs and off you go. Sadly, government is trying to replace them with newer, more "eco-friendly" models, so the stape of our city, the worl famous green Taxi Bug, is now getting lost. It's pretty sad
heck I don't know what I'd do over there, I love those old Fiats, you seldom see them around here anymore, and as you said, pretty damn beat up. But in taxi use, that's awesome.

Most of the pics where taken around the Bandra area, where we live. the're plenty of cool cars in Mumbai, but you hardly ever see them out on the streets,

They started manufacturing them here in 1964, until the late 90s!

I thought I would be getting away from awesome tuned Japanese cars by leaving Hong Kong for a couple of weeks, but it turns out the guy that runs Norris Designs is my new village neighbour. Looking forward to seeing a 600+ HP Evo rumbling through my tiny village soon!
