Does the rear diffuser really not work on the Nissan 350Z Nismo?
I'm no engineer and I've only read from the press release from Nissan at the time... but I guess having two massive exhaust pipes under the diffuser doesn't really help
Yeah, the exhaust kind of gives it away. That actually seems to be the trend with pseudo-diffusers these days, but even with those that don't make that glaring error, a quick look underneath will reveal that the plastic only goes about 12" forwards from the rear bumper. That, and the car simply isn't low enough for there to be a proper effect.
Great spots harrytuttle! 👍
The Toyota Prius Hybrid you spotted is actually a Honda Insight. The BMW and sidecar is a very neat spot. That thing is pretty dang cool. Maybe the Lotus driver wanted to enjoy the aural sensation that revving the engine gives.
I know about the Prius/Insight thing. They're just about indistinguishable from each other these days, as are the awful drivers of them. As for the Lotus, it was abnormally loud. I understand wanting to rev it, but it's useless to hear it while standing still. Pushing the engine while on the move, however....

Not only is Cano going to enjoy the older cars you spotted, but he is going to jump down your throat on "The Barn Yard".
Oh, I know. I have to get over there when the place is closed. I don't want to be seen snooping around...well, not really.

Ah, thanks. 👍 Fixed!
aaaah awesome post once again. The BMW bike is awesome!!! and absolutely pristine too. The Impala is cool with Astro Supremes, the challenger is a 1971 (and missing bumper, haha) and well... you know what you have to do with that left-for-dead stash, Tuttle. No dog is as fast as you, bud (:
Oh, man, I wish I could get there. I have found myself to be quite busy these days, but I have some free time coming up soon. Kind of a late spring break thing, only not Spring Break.
Speaking of Spring, I have over 200 photos from NYIAS that I'm in the process of putting up. I'll put a link here to the new thread, which I will try to get up ASAP.
