Nice post Nismo. The Jeepster is not a Jeepster but a Willys Overland panel. The other Panel is a 1940 Chevrolet. Your second unknown is a 1946 or 47 Plymouth (first one is just too far away to attempt recognition), and that Shelby GT500 KR has also got to be one of the rares cars in this entire thread. Awesome in red and white too. The Comet is also pretty mean.

You know Rue, the different/new font and the raised lettering on some of the HK plates are really throwing me off.

Hmmm, I'm not sure what the sudden fad with them is all about. They're definitely not official and personally I prefer plates as plain as possible. Here's one I saw last night with the 3D acrylic letters you mentioned and also an EU style graphic.

There are a few more photos too, but I haven't had time to post them up in the forum yet. Click the pic above to see them.

NISM0, great post! I love the new WRX saloon! I think it's the best looking version since the original. Great find! I wish we could see old US cars here, they'd be so photogenic with all that metal and chrome to reflect lights off.

Tuttle, your posts are always eclectic and fascinating. Keep it up!

Thanks Cano, I know you're the person who can get the cars I don't know . That's why post them. The GT500 was a really random spot after being there for two days and not seeing anything.

Rue, I agree, the WRX looks much better as a saloon then as a hatchback. I bet our muscle cars would look cool in Hong Kong. To bad we can't switch some muscle cars over to you guys and you can send up some more Skylines and some more awesome JDM-ness.

I've been a little behind on car hunting so this weekend was good. Today though......

wow, this post was even better!!! amazing!!! Really dude, is that just a random day? wasn't there a car show around? There are soooo many cool muscle cars and hot rods it's hard to belive. That blown Camaro is absolutely insane. You "classic" is a 1934 Ford sedan, and both 32 Fords are aaaawesome, I really like the green one with Flathead power, too cool! The Road Runner and Eldorado in the gas station are also cracking... heck, even the Civic is cool.

From over the weekend. Trying to get more into the night photography (as you can see). A bit hit and miss, but I'll certainly keep at it!

Great posts on this page, everyone!! NISM0, I see an unmasked new Charger infront of that new 300. Are those still rare up there?

I got some good spots over the week including today. I'll wait until the new page to post them.

Yep, just a random day out in the wealthier area of Michigan. It's one of the last nice weekends so everybody's getting their fill.

Maybe that SUV mule could be an Equinox based Buick? I really have no idea.

I know it's weird. I'm pretty use to test mules, but this one looks so different from any that I know of.

The Chargers aren't really rare anymore. I haven't seen too many, but if it's already unmasked that usually means they're everywhere. The only reason I didn't get a picture was because I wasn't paying attention. That's why It's a horrible photo of the 300 .

Where in Ontario were you taking these pics Nismo?

Mostly Stratford, but one was Elora and a couple where in Kitchener.

Rue, cool post!!! Certainly keep at night photography, you've managed great!!

I really like the silver bugeye Impreza and the eyes-up 928, but my fave has to be the cute Capuccino with the list of mods in the door!

I have seriously got to start posting in this thread. Now lemme see what I've got on my cell phone. There should be a few shots of a Porche I saw a few months back.
I have no idea what this is

That's either looks like one of those new fancy, pancy Porsche 4WD's or an Alpha 4WD. Whatever it is, I don't like the paint work. But yeah, the front is saying Prosche or Holden, and hte back is saying Alpha or possibly (but i doubt) Aston Martin.

Cool, Elora is about a 15min drive from where I live and Kitchener is about 20. Did ya come through Guelph at all?

Bit of interesting news on the HK car spotting scene, though unfortunately I don't have any photos to back it up. On Monday night I was sitting with a pint outside my regular bar when a black Mercedes CLK55 DTM AMG rolled by. This is the third coupe I've seen in HK, but it is always a special thing to see a car they only produced 100 examples of. Now, this would have been cool enough, but as I was explaing to my mate the rarity of the DTM I heard a mighty V8 rumble and out of nowhere a hulking great white '78 Holden Monaro HZ GTS blasted by! Strewth! I couldn't bloody ruddy believe it. One of the last cars I would expect to see on our streets. The kicker is, I had been setting up the flash on my camera to take nice bright, clean photos on just this piece of road but it caught me straight out of surprise and I pathetically failed to get a shot. Still smarting from my missed opportunity, this morning I was on the bus with my camera in my bag when out of nowhere a custom purple '70 Chevrolet Chevelle SS clattered by on the other side of the road! Struggling to get the camera out and having my 30mm prime lens on I again failed to get a shot - typical. Still, Hong Kong is a small place and I hope I can snap one of these soon. I can only begin to imagine how cool they would look under the Chinese neon signs.

Shortly after missing the Chevelle, I snapped this little beauty. Every cloud and all that...

It's not a Cayenne, and I doubt it's an Alfa (no SUV expected until 2012). Most likely it's a new version of something already being built by GM or maybe Ford. The "paintwork" is just camo to disguise the look of the vehicle. Aston Martin has no plans for an SUV as far as I know.

^Big picture is big. Consider getting a smaller picture.

And I think the mystery SUV NISM0 posted is almost certainly one of the big three. Perhaps it's a new Enclave or something.

Now, as promised I have some spots to share with you all. These are from the last week or so.

you OWE me that, dude. Cacth them.

No pics, but saw a 2011 Impreza STi Sedan at the gas station, then a Nismo 350Z on the freeway on the way to work. The Z needed a bath and had a cracked windshield. :(

A few snaps from over the weekend. Click on pics for more and LOADS more on the way - work calls...

the 350Z ragtop, the 4-door Skyline and the GT#RS pics are epic. Cars are cool, too!!!

Will be waiting for more (:

Just got a new camera for my birthday so I've been out taking a few pics :D These are the only two cars worth posting that I have pictures of. (Apart from my own car of course ;))

1. Mercedes C63 AMG. First one of these I've seen. The owner used to drive an E92 BMW M3, also in white as it happens, but I wasn't really into photographing peoples cars then. Still felt a bit wrong taking pics of this but I did anyway!

IMG_0154.jpg

2. This is apparently a Fiorano Corsa Spyder kit car, but the owner has stuck Ferrari badges on it anyway. Not seen this before either.
