Personally, I can't abide wood in any car after about 1972. That and chrome. If I bought an MX-5 I all that would have to be the first to go. That's just me though.

The wood makes the car feel a bit rustic in some ways, it's kind of nice. In those pictures, the Mazda looks absolutely tiny in comparison to the cars around it.

X1 looks pretty good actually, the Q5 is still prettier IMO

There's a BMW X1? The front, especially the grill, is absolutely hideous. When will this madness stop?

I agree about the X1, I think it looks like an old slipper. I suspect someone must have put something in Dac_Xint's ovaltine.

Rue, I was originally born in/from Hong Kong. I never actually thought about the connection between the numbers in my handle with the country code, I picked that out a long time ago when I was young and I thought it sounded familiarly good, so I think it was a coincidence; perhaps it was an auspicious coincidence?

As it states in my location, I don't live in HK anymore and I don't get to visit much, so it's always a treat for me to see your pictures for some of the scenes of daily life and what kind of crazy cars they have back there.

You could buy the Fulvia in the States for a couple years in the 70s. They're extremely pretty cars.

The Delta, however, is very rare. I seem to remember a guy somewhere in Southern MI who is really into Group B cars and has a 5 Turbo and a 205 Turbo 16. Maybe same dude? I've also seen at least two up in Toronto as well.

I've seen the 205 and Turbo 16 before, awesome cars, but this Delta is was from Illinois. Probably Chigaco area since it was only a couple hours away, other then that I have no other info on it. Although the guy driving it looked like Jesse James, just cleaner and a tad bit older.

I finally got a picture of one of the cars I see here. It was parked so it was easy.
The guy driving it looks like he should be driving a VW Mircrobus with flowers painted on it. You can see he has a bunch of stuff hanging from the rear view mirror.
The colors are great for Holloween, but I don't know if I would want it the rest of the year.
