I want to say back in '60s they did, but I'm not sure.

Pretty sure they must have done in the early sixties. 'Somebody' Griffith had the same idea as Shelby and put a Ford V8 into a British sports car, the TVR Grantura, and produced the TVR Griffith.

That was the car I was thinking of. I've see a ton of them at events with left hand drive, and my dad wants one so we read about them a lot.

Some stuff from Sunday. There's a big one in here!!:D

Love the contrast between the cheapest black Ferrari convertible you can possibly buy to one of the most expensive.

Anywaysssss looks like this photography hobby of mine comes in cycles every year. This past summer I didn't go out with the intention of shooting cars nearly as much, but when an opportunity like this presents itself a couple doors down, I had to snap a couple shots:

Nothing campared to what you lot post, but today I saw a Gallardo Spyder, a prestine white E92 M3 and an '08 Mustang in the space of 20 minutes. Not bad for Nottingham. :D

Where did you see a Lambo in Notts? Best I've seen is an OLD Mustang & an R34 across the street (though it looks slightly odd to me) Oh & my friend down the road had this pretty awesome tuned Supra (with a custom graphic (by him))

Here are some pictures my dad took. He works at Kennedy Space Center and they're filming Transformers 3 right now there right now.

Ferrari 458 Italia, Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Corvette concept(convertible?), and a Mercedes.

I hate you because of your city. Really.

I hate you because of your city. Really.

I pass a lot of spectacular cars in mundane locations too, keep that in mind. Unless the car is something above and beyond awesome, I won't shoot street-parked cars anymore. Just down the street from that Supra was some sort of special edition Aston Martin (may have been another N400 or a V10 Vantage) but I've gotten so bored of shooting the curbside stuff. I'm sure there are some awesome spots where you are, but you may not notice them because it's far less likely that there is a 100,000$ car sitting in front of it.

Anyways, I saw these two cars parked up and thought how many points it would have gotten me in the GTP Scavenger Hunt. Imagine, two white 3G STi's parked next to one another by chance.

I also caught this this thing today. No idea at all what it could be, other than Japanese.

Excuse the lack of actual photography, only had my iThingy and wasn't expecting the hipshot while riding in the first shot.

Looks like a Corvette C7 Roadster or Spyder. Interesting.

I've seen a nice cream white Ford Torino and a red Ferrari 512 TR

I hate you even more. You see spectacular cars in BOTH cool spots and normal spots, hahaha.

I am always looking for places bud, I need locations, remember?

And it's a pity you dont do any more side street photo, your spots were always cool.

Whilst I was waiting for the bus in Arnold, north of the centre of Nottingham.

Today I saw an R8 just outside the city centre, a '99 Elise and 2 nice looking Breras. :)

Well we may be in luck. Just yesterday I broke* my only (ha!) lens, so it looks like I'll be getting something better a lot quicker than I had thought. Looking at a cheap used 50/1.8. Should be great.

*the infinity stop in my lens is apparently too weak for the body's AF motor and frequently breaks. This makes the entire camera useless as the body needs to find infinity focus every time it turns on, regardless of AF or MF. I'm not qualified nor time-wealthy to fix it myself, so I'm just going to shop around for a quick 50mm.

Frequently? haha, wtf...

anyway, I know you'll be like a boy with a new toy when you get it so we'll see some stuff from you. Also, how cheap is cheap?

Cool orange Barracuda with AAR type striping down the side except it said "340" instead of AAR. Sounded great.

Frequent among those who have them. It can only break once.

I'm aiming to spend a hundred bucks.

While I was on holidays on the Sunshine Coast (never trust Queenslanders with place names - it was raining most of the time) I decided to do a bit of car spotting as it is almost the only time of year that I will see any interesting cars on the road.

I missed taking pictures of quite a few cars (quite a lot actually). They were:
Jaaaaag E Type
Lexus ISF
Bentley Azure
1970's Dodge Challenger
Alfa Giulia Sprint GTV
Bentley Continental GT Convertible
Citroen 2cv (yes, someone still drives one of these)
Corvette C3.

Cool orange Barracuda with AAR type striping down the side except it said "340" instead of AAR it is a 1973-74 instead of a 1970. Sounded great.

Fixed (:

And Paul, that Miata is awesome! nice interior too.

Personally, I can't abide wood in any car after about 1972. That and chrome. If I bought an MX-5 I all that would have to be the first to go. That's just me though.
