Awesome pictures Rue, you know I’ve always liked your night shots, your Nikon has very good high-ISO capabilities, it allows you to do these without looking like fried crap.

So, new page, new post, albeit small; first, a clean non-SS Monte Carlo, but the picture is almost of the wheels, as it is very rare to see Torq Thrust IIs in Mexico:
deiu002.jpg

Taken from a bridge, a vintage, vertical-lamp Mercedes with modern wheels. Questionable.
deiu005.jpg

A really really rare here 1971 El Camino, pretty much abandoned there… although it disappeared soon after this pic was taken.
deiu010.jpg

I usually walk by this shop because once in a while they’ll have something cool, such as this 1969 Vette. Finding it that day later derived in a photoshoot for the magazine. It has a LT1-4L60E combo and is very well finished everywhere, very cool car.
deiu012.jpg

Silvia or 200SX or whatever the heck this is. I’m no expert in such stuff, but I vagely think this car was not sold in Mexico.
deiu013.jpg

Thiss 1954 GMC rests outside a shop I walk by from time to time when I go to a flea market looking for old die cast cars.
deiu014.jpg

Nearby sits this 1967 Coronet, in very goooood original shape and for sale. Tempting, it only needs a bit of chrome trim and that’s it. It’s still there.
deiu017.jpg

I walk by this Merc everyday. Somewhat customized, I took this pic about a year ago . The car sits in the same place to this day, with one flat, just deteriorating. WTF.
These models are hard to find here, they were never officially sold here .
deiu019.jpg

This street corner always has something intresting. I’ve already shown you the 1932 Plymouth in front of it, but the ragtop Mercedes with Momo wheels appeared later on. The car even had a flat for some time. It has since disappeared, its place now taken by a 1965 Stang ragtop. Always something interesting, as I said.
deiu020.jpg

Finally, one of the rarest cars I’ve ever come across in this country: a Lancia Fulvia!!! Only a handful of these live in Mexico, and this one is in absolutely pristine condition. I even left a card in it one time hoping the owner would agreed on a photoshoot, but he never called back. It disappeared several months ago, it’s place taken by a ragtop Fiat, which has also disappeared. But, such good taste.
deiu026.jpg

And the sole ricer this time is this Eclipse. As if being an Eclipse wasn’t already bad enough.
deiu008.jpg

Check out the EXIF info. I shot them at -200 ISO. Haha!

Great pics as usual, you old rusty dog. That Fulvia is the bizniz. Why no pic of the car in front of the old SL?

Nice Trans Am got me to stop and click, very clean, looked great!

And since I was already going to post I stopped and captured this, too. British Racing Green?

AMAZING selection of cars there Nismo! Wow... That Ghost imposter is hilarious, as is the Viper with the flames. On both, why would anyone do that? but that rusty Chevy pickup is ace! I'm going to break the rules of the thread twice now. I saw the new BMW 1M yesterday in that burnt orange colour that you always see it in in magazines, etc. Looks pretty cool! I am expecting to see a lot of them on the roads here soon. A friend told me that our resident McLaren F1 was also out and about yesterday, but neither of us got to see it. I went out to Tai Mei Tuk, but there was a dearth of cars, the ones that were there I will post later. In the meantime, there were loads of motorbikes there, so for any fans of the things with two-wheels (Dac_Xint), here they are. I will post the car pics later...

Last 3 days.

Seen a few nice cars though, with no pics. Saleen S281 convertible, Yellow SVT Cobra convertible, the red Exige again, late 30's/early 40's white Ford (I think) coupe, a dark blue early 50's Mercury (again guessing) leadsled, yellow/black modified Mustang (mighta been a Shelby), 64 Impala, Orange Dart 340, 57 Bel Air, and then what I presume to me a 50's Chevy Bel Air (Well, might not be the bel air, but same body style) with a blower.

While I was working the cash register at work, an Orange Gallardo and Blue Viper GTS pull out of the parking lot from the car wash next door... :)

I have no time to car spot during the week, so we go every couple weeks to Woodward to make up for it . And yes, there's 150 cars, and it was a pretty slow night.

The MG with a huge driver is actually an Austin Healey 3000.:)

Doh! I always get them mixed up, thanks!

Nissan Skyline GT-R 'Ken and Mary' by R-W-P, on Flickr

I love the Ken and Mary. Most of Michigan is pretty slow, but Woodward is awesome, and really awesome on Fridays. The 300 was in my town, that really made me excited, that also made me really made after. And the Viper, no clue . I loved that Chevy, I wish it came around again. And speaking of a McLaren F1, I saw one has showed up in London, I'll be in London Oct. 22 - 29, here's hoping I see it :D:tup:.

That was a head-blowing post in the last page, got damn. I know where I’m gonna retire. Incredible amount, and incredible quality of cars! The Polara wag, the lowered black Belvedere, the 300 with the big-inch Torq Thrust… well, all the Mopars,. But those, dayum!

Also, I suppose the guy in the Z06 just rolled eyes @ the SRT4-vs-BMW race. It must have been amusing.

Awesome post, Nismo. Where is Joey?

And also, awesome Kenmeri pixture Rue, shame it’s a bit out of focus.

unlike you guys, I have to use an actuall camera (a digital one, but an actual camera) rather than catching things on the fly, I gotta wait till they're sitting still :P

willy's vehicles are rare. this is a steel-body wagon also usefull is the fact it's right next to the mini, and there's a kid there to indicate the scale

Nice cars, Mr Sniff! But, they're probably more appropriate to the DYSAGT Event and Showroom edition thread. Yeah, it doesn't get as much traffic over there and the thread gets way down the page or booted to the 2nd page, but the two threads have pretty separate themes and reasons for following. Although NISMO's posts often seem like he must be at an event!
