Yeah, I thought that too when they released the facelift version. Why on Earth didn't they change the back of it to flow with the new front?

Keef, I can't help you on the car but I had a look around Dayton on Google Street View. I cannot believe the amount of pickup trucks there are on the roads of the US, and how massive they are...

Is it like this everywhere?
Make a pit stop in Texas if you're ever in the US. All of the Big 3 seem to have a "Texas-size Edition" of all their pickups here. :ouch:

I'm going for a virtual visit right now...

EDIT: You're not wrong. No wonder we've got no oil left. Also, what the heck is this thing...?

Not my pic, but my apartmentmate’s. I’ve trained her well.

(Aptera is you have to ask.)

Ah crap. Thanks for the heads up though. I'll move my content. I do have some street cars from the Car Corral at the Baltimore GP. I'll post those later.

Rue, that is a Nissan Quest. I don't seem them to often, but I really don't even notice them. And you want to see pick ups? I'll get a picture from work today, it's pick up central.

How the heck did that get off the drawing board? The JDM Nissan people characters are super-cool (Elgrand, new Prairie, etc.), what were they thinking with that?

Cool, I don't actually like pick-up trucks, although I do love the 50-70's ones, but it would be nice to see some pics of the really big obnoxious ones.

That's pretty crazy, Sage!

That generation of the Nissan Quest is basically built in the US. Based off of the Mercury Villager. Currently I believe they just brought the Nissan Elgrand to the U.S. and rebadged it as Quest. My family used to have one of those old Quests and I remember my dad having to buy shocks for it that were for Fords. >_>;;;

We currently have (let me count) 2 Silverados, 4 F150s, and a Ranger so 7 trucks in my small family.

Country with the most pollution of any country in the world....there is one large part.

Okay, usually I wouldn't give an Eclipse a second look, they're overly heavy FF's trying to be sports cars... but this one was nice

OH FREAKING GOT DAMN!!!! A CORD 812!!!

Dude, that is an EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY RARE CAR!!! I only wish we could see the other side of the hood to determine if it's supercharged, but it is still one heck of a spot. awesome.

Same can't be said for the eclipse, though. Bein' a Eclipse is bad already.

I'm not an expert by any means on the Cord 812, but I have was looking at pictures I took at the Simeone Foundation Auto Museum of the supercharged Cord 812 they have and this car does not have the exhaust pipes on the sides of the hood, which the Simeone Foundation car had.

That is precisely why I was saying that if only we could see the other side of the hood...

Jeff, I have always admired your posts and respected your opinions. I'm going to put that one down to a long day on the farm and not bring it up ever again... All the other pics were lubbley.

:lol::lol: I wondered if that post was going to draw comment here... but seriously, I just remember the Eclipse being fun to drive and a pretty badass FF in GT1 and GT2, and I still think they look pretty cool. But yes, I also understand how lame they are and generally groan when I see somebody trying to mod one into looking like a real sports car. But this one was nice, to me. Might also be because orange is my favorite color...

On to today, first, a F'ing Catterham Seven! And less than 10 miles from the Nelson Ledges track mentioned in the Wikipedia entry for the Seven. Very early commuter, as this one was taken as I was stopping to get coffee on my way to harvest for today's market in the ridiculously early AM.

and then this Maserati, my third since I've been getting into the more upscale parts of town:

STi, still can count on one hand the number I've seen in my life

and three cars up the road, Evo X (I think, no badging...)

Yes on the X and also cool to see those best of enemies parked so close to each other both in the choice rally colour of white.

The Eclipse needs better wheels...and a more tasteful bodykit.

Also, the SC430 Super GT car is a bit of a beast...but the road car? Way too ugly, way too wallowy, and wayyy too overpriced to be a proper sports car.

Nice ones Dac_Xint, the first one looks pretty special.

Maserati GranCabrio

BMW Z1

And these were my lousy quality pics.

Finally!

One R8 from home, (First one!) and some good stuff from Texas this weekend.
