It's not something I'd drive, but I'll give hime credit for trying something different. And he does drift it alot, so that explains something. The front lip is off a Cadillac CTS, I found that odd.

Wow, when I was in Hong Kong last year I didn't see anything of this calibre around. I don't really remember the name of the place I was in, as I was on a stopover from a flight, but Im pretty sure it started with M.

Interesting to see how excited you guys get over Celicas. I can really go a day without seeing one of those down here. Granted the older models are a bit rarer. If you want, tell me some JDM models you would like to see and Ill keep an eye out.

Those Red Stripes go surprisingly well on that Gray F430.

I get excited over ST202 Celicas, not just because I rarely see them, but also because I love them too.

Only problem I have is most of the time when I see a nice car it's while I'm driving.

That and I can't seem the find the pictures of the Ford GT I snapped a few months ago but never posted here. The guy had the engine exposed talking to a mechanic in a parking lot.
*searches furiously for photos*
Also, I'm not asking anyone to believe me, I know how stuff works on the internet, just venting my frustration at myself for losing the pictures.

^I second what Cano said.
I'd be able to stare for hours at something like that.
You have no idea what I'd give to see it in person on the streets. I've seen them at car shows, but there's just something special about seeing them driving around on the streets instead of on display.

That's a mixed bag! Is the first one a Lancia? Love the colour on the R8 too. I saw an RS5 that colour a couple of times the other day and on both occasions mistook it as an R8 from the front... Yeah, yeah so my glasses are broken.

Yes, the first one is a Lancia. And sorry for the bad quality picture of the R8. I was in a hurry.

Nice Denmark spots. How come I never see stuff like that here? :grumpy:

No idea.

Loads of people say that about their experiences in Hong Kong. I don't get it, there are flash cars everywhere, even in the most unlikely places. It's almost impossible not to see something if you're near a road for any length of time. Strange, indeed.

Would love to see some cars from NZ, I know your falling over Japanese sports cars down there.

I had the same experience, a lot of Jaguars, Rolls Royces but no Lambourghini or Ferrari (about 10 years ago).

I can finally add something to this thread. I see a lot on nice cars but never get a chance to photograph them as I am always driving. I was on holiday in Auckland when I took this in the weekend.

It's not a shocking photo though. GFs point and shoot camera would only focus on the chair legs in front of me.

Is this on the corner of Customs st west and Queen street?

Thats it for today.

The TravelAll is very cool, but the abandoned, totally original Pinto, complete with original hubcaps is all kinds of win. It looks to be in decent shape. Just clean it up a bit, a fresh coat of gray primer, a turbo T-Bird mill, and off we go.

I've never seen a Celica like that before, with the long back I mean.

I've only seen them in 5th and 6th generations, never a 4th, didn't know they existed. Ghastly things as they are though, the coupe and convertible version of my car (5th generation) are a crime to my eyesight!

Okay, stopped in a parking garage after market at the Cleveland Clinic.

Not a bad garage! Afterwards found and scouted the employee garage (doctors...) but nothing!

Others... Caddy?

Pantera. Same garage where I spotted the Lotus Elite. Happened that the Elite's owner was there, as his car was on the lift. Talked to him for a minute, he also has a TVR 280i. Almost followed him home, I'll have to keep an eye out when I'm going through there.

XK, I hate most Jags, but this looks more like an Aston Martin, especially the nose (which I missed capturing..)

old 911 SC, can't really tell from the pick but this thing was riding on like 11" rear tires.

That would be a E63 AMG, the bigger brother. And I believe the S4 is actually a normal A4 with a body kit. Don't really see the S4 badge on the front >_> either that I'm going blind. :) Sorry, being rather particular... Great findings, especially the Pantera! I do like the way the 911 GTS looks too. :D Still haven't gotten any good spottings for a long time up here. :(

I had quite an evening a couple nights ago. I was in Tin Hau for dinner with the girl friend and came across these two Mercs

An interesting part of history of the earlier model of this car was that a rather unknown young driver named "Ayrton Senna" took First Place in at the inauguration of the new, shorter Nürburgring in 1984, a race with identical cars was held with former and current F1 pilots at the wheel.

Yes it is. I was sitting outside Muffin Break.

True, I used to live just up the road from that place.

Some spots from the last couple of days. Sorry for the poor quality, its hard to take photos on a bus and not have people look at you like your crazy.
Nothing as crazy as what is above, but some Japanese cars that are pretty common around here.
