You know you can post the images directly by copying the image location and putting it between image tags, right?

First image above, location is http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/5476/imageasu.jpg. Stick that in [img][/img] tags, and:

That is becaus you use the wrong link, you use the link to the page, not directly to the pic..

This is what you get when you link directly to the pic.

Today on the exact same road

Same car? One has the top off and different plates but they are mechanics plates so it's probably the same.

Since one's a fixed-head and the other is a convertible, I'm guessing "no" unless there's been an horrific accident in the intervening period.

Now that I've thought this through, you're right :dunce:

@ Cale: I think it's the glare of the sun, it was a silver one.

Some sort of Ferrari, no idea which one. Were other nice cars parked along the road, but the pics would belong more in the guess that car thread :P

Nice Scort MkII there. Never thought I'd say that, but those older Fords have really grown on me. Living in a place with a dearth of classic cars has made me appreciate the old stuff so much more. Still, I found a place today that has a lot of potential. Paul you told me about a place near Yuen Long before. Was the road called Kam Sheung Road? About two miles of very interesting stuff, the theme being 70-80's Japanese classics. We'll have to walk it with the cameras very soon.

No pics, but I want to hear if any of you guys have further info.

Earlier today I saw a midsize sedan in full front and rear camo - I think the rest of the car was whitish in color - actually in a very odd place. Pretty much the ghettoest of ghettos as far as Dayton goes (I was driving the work van). The nearest factory that could produce something like this is Honda, way up in Anna. Now that GM is out of the picture there's no local automotive presence at all...sooo...not really sure what I was looking at.

Probably doesn't matter, but I was in the west side of Dayton on Stewart street, and the car was traveling west. No chase cars, unless that last-gen Impala on dubs...

Like a BAUS 👍

Racedude, I really like your Mexico shots. Always good to see something different! It's so sad to see all those old cars just rotting. I wish people looked after their possessions more. Isn't that abandoned brown car an Audi? Also, I used to love that series of Vettes when I was a kid. I used to have a Corvette book and that was my fave.

Yeah, I thought that too when they released the facelift version. Why on Earth didn't they change the back of it to flow with the new front?

Keef, I can't help you on the car but I had a look around Dayton on Google Street View. I cannot believe the amount of pickup trucks there are on the roads of the US, and how massive they are...

Is it like this everywhere?

I'm from Canada, and it's the same way here too. Trucks are cool in North America. Teenagers would often rather have a Ford F-150 than a Mustang (and I'm one of those people).

AWESOME POST RACEDUDE!!!

Please keep on shooting abandoned cars, I LOVE THEM. 'sides, you found a pretty rare car, the abandoned Volkswagen is a Type 3 fastback, a very desireable and hard to find model. the brown car at it's front is, I think, a VW Passat fastback, absurdly rare in this country!!! I had never seen one of those before, but they sure are in sad shape. I love abandoned cars! The rotting Lincoln limo is awesome, too.

And that's no Dodge, but a Plymouth Valiant (:
