Its because it has arguably one of the greatest profiles on a production vehicle ever. During its time, I think it was the lowest, and widest production car.

And the best sound ever when it comes off the off ramp next to you.

Height-wise, the S7 was a bit lower at by around 4 inches. But, it was definitely one of the widest vehicles until the MC12 came around at about an inch more. They take a while to get used to if you ever get a chance to drive one on the road.

Some awesome pics up there, love the two Alfas Rue, and the BB was a great spot Jeff (is it a 365 or 512? Not sure how to tell)

Hoping to gather some of my pics together later and put them up. They are not from "today" though I keep my eyes open, hope that's OK!

Okay, had a totally mind blowing day. At farmer's market, had to run away from my stand in order to catch some of these. Don't know what it was that brought everybody out today, cool, sunny, it's been rainy, and probably won't be too many nice sunny Sundays til next year, guess that was it.

First, I'd heard a rumor that there was one around, finally caught it myself, my first Lambo:

Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R

Skyline are so boring, I can see ten down the road from my house in a day.
I'm more interested in the Merc.:sly:

P.S. I'm rubbish at quoting parts of posts. :)

Pics please... Lots of pics... :)

I know I am meant to post a photo but I wasn't able to get one. I saw a Suzuki Cappuccino with the number plate DECAF.

Haha! That's cute. Don't see enough Cappas here.

Photo dump alert! Here are a bunch of snaps from a couple of hours taken early Sunday morning. Believe it or not it was really slow, I didn't think I was going to see anything of real interest so much so that I almost gave up but then the 512M showed up and I decided to stay. Highlights are the Ferrari I just mentioned (I don't think I have ever seen one on the road anywhere before) and the 993 Turbo S, one of only 35 RHD examples made. Like the blue 550 and the clean Evo II as well...

Rue
Well, bugger me!

Yeah, did some research on the Auburn after posting this. Closely related to the Cord. Set the 12 hour land speed record, over 100mph average for the first time. Heard the owner talking about having come from a Concourse d'Elegance with it. Not surprising. Evidently great examples go for over $300,000 at auction.

Although, it looks like to grille has a 862 on it, but I could only find references to 851/852 models...

And yeah, didn't expect to get comment on my Lambo and R8, since everybody else here seems to see them regularly, but seriously I can't believe there's an R8 in Cleveland. A few Lambos I'm sure, but not an R8. Now I need to find an LFA.

Also waiting for Cano to ID my last shot.

Edit: in fact check all the Audi dealers in the Cleveland area, and none of them are currently offering a R8.

While walking home I caught something you don't see everyday here. Sorry for the crap as crap quiality as well, my phone's camera is only a VGA :indiff:

Rue
I'd swap all the Ferraris and Porsches to see that here...

That's just the tip of the ice burg for what's around my little town. I'll have to snap a pic of my neighbor's Hudson Hornet and find the Ferrari 512BB, the red '88 Lotus Esprit Turbo HC and the Skyline (It's either an R32 or R33 I can't remember which)

Can't say I have, never heard of it either

Neither did I until today. In fact, I've seen it around the neighborhood and though it was a highly modified Corvette C3, but that, obviously, is not the case. These were made in the 70s and based off the original VW Beetle chassis.

Bradley Automotive was it's own company, though. Cool car, though.

Wicked post NISMO_SKYLINE. New Jag looks pretty slick and is that the front wing of a classic 911 I see? Ecto 1 (modernized version of) is cool too. Nice one!

Ford Model A. Like 1929.

But the Auburn. OMG.

Also, wicked couple of pages, people. Rue, you've gotten yourself quite acquainted with the art of panning. Very very good pics, man. Screw you for bein' able to walk around at night with a decent camera.
