Went to London yesterday, saw a Ferrari 360, and a Ferrari F1 car from 1998 or 9 in somebody's window. Probably a rolling chassis, though.

And the Griffith passed me again.

I saw the new Kia Sorento today in base form (with base wheels - they look like a wholesale parts truck's) in blue and it actually looked fairly decent - good ride height (much more than Sportage) and better-looking than Sportage.

Volvo XC90: grey, right outside my store. Of the three people who were around (including myself) at that hour (8 AM), not one person disliked it. In fact, we all liked it quite a bit. On top of that, even my dad liked it, and his favorite is an Olds Cutlass 442...from 1970...I think.

The special (and I mean special) "Return from Virginia" edition of 'See anything good today?'

Citroen Berlingo Multispace spotted about three blocks from the French embassy and two blocks from the German embassy near the Washington/Virginia border in Washington. Strangely, it had stock D.C. plates... new CLK seen; styled with the new corporate tail and nose -- it actually looks like an E-class coupe. Also, much leaner than the previous model... Volvo XC90 in dark green; I was so stunned to see it I didn't regard the trim level. If anything goes wrong again with my ML430, an XC90 lease or purchase may be in order... A 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass sedan with the Missouri senate license plate USS-1, therefore belonging to Sen. Kit Bond from Missouri - nice car, Kit... A 1998 Ford Taurus belonging to State Rep Tom Lantos of California... A 1999ish Ford Windstar belonging, I assume, to John Rockefeller (I didn't catch the plate number, but I assume that Bobby Byrd can no longer drive)... Nissan Quests is what Diplomats like -- I saw no less than five Quests with Diplomat plates, and only about six Quests in all on the entire vacation... Mitsubishi Montero Sports are hated in Virginia -- I saw two Montero Sports with Virginia plates during my entire three day trip. In Illinois, they're rampant. Apparently, easterners have taste... E30 M3, silver... Ferrari 308, red... and my own rental car: a 2002 Maxima SE, with more passing power than my Audi -- I was impressed.

More... Lexus GX470 spotted on a car carrying trailer. It's more imposing than I thought, but I'm still not offended by the styling. It's okay, I guess... Isuzu Ascender -- someone actually bought one! This is going to be as rare as the Oasis, Hombre, and Stylus in just a few years here. Why, unless you work for Isuzu, would you even think of purchasing an Ascender over the Envoy XL (more stuff) or the TrailBlazer EXT (cheaper)?

And about eight blocks from my house (assuming you're going west, since you're talking about the joint Maryland/Virginia border). The French embassy makes for some seriously strange cars floating around, from the wonderful 406 coupes to Fiat Multiplas and even a 206 CC one day. I'd love to see a 307 wagon or Citroen C5 (and C3, C8), but I'm not sure if it'll happen. Never seen a Berlingo, though.

While refueling my grandma-in-law's (?) Escort, I saw a '70 Corolla with a roll-cage, no turn signals, one seat, plexiglass windows, and BBS rims. The car was stripped to it's essentials, and it had a performance muffler that didn't sound like like a toy. Alaskan plates, too!

Silver 911's:

Porsche 993/911 Carrera S: silver (duh); just north of White Plains, on some back road. I'd forgotten just how awesome the rear haunches of the 993 were. This must have been an early one, because from a distance it looked like a 964. So muscular, so purposeful, such damned fat tires!

Porsche 996/911 Turbo: silv -- (oh, forget it); near the same place, an hour later. It looks so bland compared to the 993. And this is a Turbo to a C2S! Along with the overt designs, Porsche apparently got rid of the driving character, too. I'd considered getting my girlfriend a used Porsche next sometime year, but I'll take comfort in knowing that the "better" one will be the 993 (which I can afford more easily anyway).

I saw a brand new shiny black 2003 sl500. Looked so dope because all the other cars around here are dirtied by salt. It was parked and then I saw it pull off. Sounds amazing.

This is a good thread to bring back.

I saw a red Lotus Esprit going the opposite direction on the freeway :D

The other day my parents were at Lowes (home store) and saw an orange Lotus Esprit V8. I have never seen one, and she got a picture next to it. Its a really cool car.

The only decent car I've seen lately was an Evo 8 when I was driving about near my house. And an M3 E36 at work but nothing special.

The other day I saw an 850CSi in a parking lot. I pulled in next to it to take a picture, and the driver walked up. It wasa middleaged woman that didnt look like she knew anything about the car. It is probably her husbands car.

Went to the movies today and seen some pretty nice cars.

2x TVR Chimearas
Aston Martin Vantage V8
Skyline R33 GTR
New Lotus Elise
New style Civic Type-R
BMW M3 E46 Cab
Mercedes CL55

Of course Mitsu EVO VI TME (red with stripes) :D :mischievous:
BMW M5 E39 (black)
Lamborghini Morcielago (yellow)
BMW M3 E46 (yellow)
Couple of E65
and Brabus A class :D (black)

I saw a 360 Modena parked on the side of the road. It looked pretty small compared to the "normal" sedan (cant remember what it was) next to it.

I saw a Honda S2000 today as well, quite suprising because anything of that calibre in my neighbourhood is either stolen or is owned by an asian.

I work in a very rich area so I see a lot of great cars all the time.

Red Z06
Black Supra
Blue Viper GTS
White NSX

And I see enough BMW's, Benzes and Porches that I'm bored with them. I also see the occasional Ferarri and Rolls. And one time I saw a Yellow Esprit.

a few days ago i saw a aston martin v8 vantage GOD i love that car!      the sound is undescribable :mischievous:  in the past ive seen and evo 5 and an evo 6 a ferrari f355 or 2 a ferrari 360 a lambo diablo for milliseconds:lol: various porsches many supras, fto's a aston martin db7 some nice m3's a black one  and a yellow one just recently an r32 skyline and a mate of mine saw a ferrari enzo  oh and i know where someone works whose got a tvr cerbera and i saw a tuscan speed 6 parked outside some crappy little house:odd:
