The special (and I mean special) "Return from Virginia" edition of 'See anything good today?'
Citroen Berlingo Multispace spotted about three blocks from the French embassy and two blocks from the German embassy near the Washington/Virginia border in Washington. Strangely, it had stock D.C. plates... new CLK seen; styled with the new corporate tail and nose -- it actually looks like an E-class coupe. Also, much leaner than the previous model... Volvo XC90 in dark green; I was so stunned to see it I didn't regard the trim level. If anything goes wrong again with my ML430, an XC90 lease or purchase may be in order... A 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass sedan with the Missouri senate license plate USS-1, therefore belonging to Sen. Kit Bond from Missouri - nice car, Kit... A 1998 Ford Taurus belonging to State Rep Tom Lantos of California... A 1999ish Ford Windstar belonging, I assume, to John Rockefeller (I didn't catch the plate number, but I assume that Bobby Byrd can no longer drive)... Nissan Quests is what Diplomats like -- I saw no less than five Quests with Diplomat plates, and only about six Quests in all on the entire vacation... Mitsubishi Montero Sports are hated in Virginia -- I saw two Montero Sports with Virginia plates during my entire three day trip. In Illinois, they're rampant. Apparently, easterners have taste... E30 M3, silver... Ferrari 308, red... and my own rental car: a 2002 Maxima SE, with more passing power than my Audi -- I was impressed.
