DLC release discussion (Some note in first post)

The DLC is locked to the purchasing account. Buy it on the one you intend to play on. It's nothing to do with regions. There is no store download for the DLC, it is accessed from within GT5 and since it accesses the account you are logged in on that's the one you need to buy it on.
I have two ps3's in the house, and two psn accounts, one that I buy general stuff on for myself and the kids, and one that I buy rated games on like battlefield and crysis. I bought the dlc on the general account swapped to my main account and guess what, no DLC. Yep I had to buy it again on that account too, expensive tracks.
Sony are looking into for me as the T&C do state, just like almost every other PSN download that the content can be used on 5 activated systems. There is no mention of it being account locked otherwise I'd have done the sensible thing and purchased it on my GT5 account like I have with previous account locked content.
So be warned!

So has anyone downloaded it on their main account and seen if it would work on their second account? I got a feeling (Or just hoping) it might work that way.
I can confirm, that the DLC contenst will ONLY (!!!) be available to the PSN-account that was used to buy the DLC...
Bought on my main-account.. not available to any other on same PS3
No other accounts on the same PS3 will have the content available..!!
So am I now facing having to spend another 36 to buy it for my 2 boys and my own secondary GTP-account...?? No way, that is going to happend..!
This is a 'rip-off' from Sony/PD..!
I have already replied to Kaz on twitter, that this is not acceptable..!
Hope he see my reply, and repsonds...
Also been on Playstation blog to sound my unsatisfaction...
Maybe some more should do things like that, to let PD and Sony be aware of how we react to the 'terms' of the DLC..

Well this is pretty disappointing. Do I choose to have the Touring Cars on my personal account or my GTP account? Do I choose to have Spa on my personal account or my GTP account?
As if charging £10 for an extra 1.5% of the cars and 3% of the tracks that were on the £30 game isn't ridiculous enough, they want me to buy it twice. And then twice more for my two brothers. I'm not getting it.

I was going to buy a PSN card today after work but, not now.
I was only going to buy it because of SPA but if I can play online, and there are no new events for that track, and this isn't DLC its unlock content, thanks but not for me.
One other thing when your cars start to loose power permanently, what will you do buy them again????

Its hard not to buy it, but this is now really overpriced and im not getting it out of principle.
Spa is nice tho.

I've only seen the R35's number issue mentioned so far, I've found some other DLC car issues. You can't fit an LSD (or adjust the existing one) plus the turbo cars already have Low RPM turbo kits installed although resetting it to default is exactly the same.
Bit of a minor issue as it's hardly uncommon with other cars in GT5, they all have zero camber each end, some of the spring rates seem a little low to me too.

Its hard not to buy it, but this is now really overpriced and im not getting it out of principle.

I would buy it but not like this, this is ripping people off their money, me and my son have 2 separate accounts, I'm not giving 24 just so we can race on SPA
I've only got one PS3, so if I login with the account that DL DLC, its fine, but if i login with the other, can only play online on somebody else lobby on their own terms and conditions and possibly with the car or type of car they want(wich they should because they paid for it), so to do this I'll not buy it.

Shameless plug but I'm doing a DLC lobby, Spa, 3 laps with the DLC Touring Cars. Add my PSN if you want in 
I don't post here much, but stop in from time to time for some great info. I have a question that I haven't seen yet, though I could easily have missed it. If a person has two accts. and gets the DLC tracks, would that person then have access to that track through the other accts. lobby? That would take a little of the sting out of this, as long as I can get at it from other accts.
Still think the idea of having it locked to one acct. on the PS3 is not the best move PD/Sony could have made.

Also I have a glue, that they share ONE ps3, so they will no be able to setup a 'local' online race for both to participate in..

I am also unhappy about the current 'need' to buy one DLC to each family-member wanting to enjoy Spa under their own accounts (and me having to buy it twice, for adding to my GTP-account as well..)

Im no genius but I figure he only has one PS3 for him and his son and they both have their career with diferent saves.
This is really bad from PD. IMO they could end the trading/gifting/duping whatever but this is too much... this and the fact that there arent any DLC cars on the dealership... and PD allows 2nd and 3rd engine upgrades and other irreversible upgrades so that we can ruin the cars and have to buy the DLC again...
And whats up with the GT R color? its horrible? When I first saw it I though that we could paint that horrible purple but no its the other color we can paint.
