I just tried out Spa and Kart Space. Both tracks are STRIKINGLY AMAZING in terms of graphics and smoothness. I have also seen the RX-7 TC and want to say this: 🤬

Why do people think the tracks and cars are the reason for Spec 2 being so large?

Spec II for Prologue had double the cars of the DLC and one track. The size for that was 1.5gb.

So that makes sense doesn't it? 300Mb less for one extra track, a few less cars and some actual spec 2.0 update data. It certainly made up more of the 1.1GB than the update itself.

Managed to Join a Japanese Room and got to do a few laps in the wet of SPA. Not bad at all. I'm not sure why it isn't up yet (Spec2.0 was released about 2.15pm AUS last week). I can't imagine it's too far away now though.

Still not out here yet. It astounds me that an unlock code isn't released everywhere simultaneously. PD certainly looks after their customers well. :-(

What point are you trying to make here? It's common sense that new models and a new track are going to be bigger than code changes/additions.

Fact of the matter is we didn't get a 1.1GB update, however big you think the DLC contents are.

I'd say it's unfair since the game doesn't prevent you from joining in the first place. You pay for having the track in your own game, not the ability to join a lobby which hosts it.

Kind of agree but for all I know it could of said 'Japanese only' in the room title. ;-)

A new, non-mandatory PS3 firmware update, v3.73, is now available. Stability during use of certain PS3 format software has been improved. From play station twitter account could this have any thing to do for the dlc delay?

I don't get it.The DLC is already on our hard drives; all we need is a code to unlock it. What could cause that to be delayed?

Well, consider that the release date for the N/A DLC might be right around when Yamauchi-san said they'd be releasing patches for the bugs in the game. (G27 issues, etc.) and they could include something else in the update/patch that would be part of our packs.

Also consider that this will fall after the airing of the U.S. GT Academy, so we could very well get something that pertains to that, like the Red/White liveried 370Z

I was just on a Japanese server for the last hour. I haven't got the DLC yet, the only reason I left was because someone called me and my internet cut out (Damn DSL filters!).

For the Network issue. I'm located in Hong Kong... My ISP provided 100mbps in Local....

But foreign connection speed I couldn't provide this is perfect, so I have set the Race quality as Normal to avoid lag connection as I can

Just confirmed something : If someone didn't purchase DLC, that's no matter he join the Room are DLC in use.
