So that makes sense doesn't it? 300Mb less for one extra track, a few less cars and some actual spec 2.0 update data. It certainly made up more of the 1.1GB than the update itself.

What point are you trying to make here? It's common sense that new models and a new track are going to be bigger than code changes/additions.

Fact of the matter is we didn't get a 1.1GB update, however big you think the DLC contents are.

I dont know the size of tracks in the download but premium cars are only around 100 kilabite which is very small all 6 just over half a meg. How do I know, weel when i download the stealths that was the file size per car.

If your GT5 Game save create by your Singapore account, buy a DLC in Singapore PSN.

If your GT5 Game save create by your US account, buy a DLC in USA PSN

Because GT5 "DLC" in real, is not Download a file to PS3 and Activate, so that couldn't share with other accounts.

in case GT5 "DLC" is "unlock service". Once again "unlock service".

that's Different with other DLC. Download a File and active on Machine
GT5 is buy a service and unlock the function with account.
(GT5 in real couldn't apply DLC to call it...)

OK I've tested the theory with ANOTHER game BORDERLANDS. THIS is what happened.

I have my main borderlands character on my Singapore account.
my borderlands disk is USA region.
I ALSO have a USA region PSN account.
I went and purchased a borderlands DLC on my USA PSN account.
I was able to play the DLC on my Singapore account, using my character!

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK???

Do that to be sure. As I buy limited edition games like NFS from Singapore and the codes don't work on my aus account but I make a Sinapore account and and claimed my DLC codes and they work on my aus account.

I would almost hazard a guess the stealth cars are on the disc and those downloads were unlock keys.

Of course they were - what do people think? 100kb for a premium model? That would be the size of an e-mail ...

Nothing in the German store; which gets traditionally updated Wednesday afternoon; so this must be an interim update?
 
Hurry up for goodness sake how long must it take? Holy cow its not rocket science just get it up there already so I can download it. I didn't pay $50 on a gift voucher to sit waiting for it because someones too slack to get things moving along and get things happening at the exact time it should be done.
 
Sony own PD so no doubt Sony update PSStore just for PD....

Ugh Kaz on Twitter says 2 more heures....

Guys... The news were it would be released 8 AM UTC. Currently London and most of britain live in BST, british summer time. Which means that yes indeed, the scheduled release time is 9 am in london, 10 am central europe.

edit: bollocks, i read it wrong aswell. so yes, 7 am UTC would have been the announced release time and thus it is late from official schedule...
 
Give em a chance. How many of us get into work and dive straight in?

Start with a cup of tea, scratch your backside, have a little natter with someone, cig break washed down afterwards with another cup of tea.

Going by the usually European (O.K maybe just the U.K) work ethic, we will be lucky to get it before lunchtime
 
I have some advise there.

Don't try to buy foreign GT5 DLC (Unlock Key) when your country PSN didn't sell DLC (Unlock Key) right now.

Unless you will use foreign PSN account to play GT5

There's a difference between another day at the office and deadlines.
 
Looks like all the karts can race together in one room . kart space is pretty cool there seems to be alot of curbs you can cut , pretty intence track

Oh no, not a 2 hour delay on the stated time...

Considering we don't usually get store content until tomorrow, I think the fact it's still earlier than it, by all normality, should be, doesn't really leave a lot of room for complaints.
