Yes but when you download DLC for other games it installs it automatically right after download. And it should be account locked as well, since you are signed in to psn giving them money.

As TCSDisable and other guys noted in the "DLC Region Lock" thread, this is not usual DLC.

This is "Service DLC" and it behaves in the same manner as PSHome DLC. It only unlocks content already installed on console via Spec 2.0 update and it's tied through PSNID that authorised it for usage.
 
Yes great... only available on my first acount.... into 18 hours of the 24h hour of le man race... backup my save... quited the race... payed the DLC. instaled the DLC. quit the game... onto my second user (no account user just for offline gaming) and no DLC on my second user and just lost 18 hours of race because Im too affraid to restore my save and loose the DLC.

I realy cant understand this... I bought the game and Im able to have two careers on my PS3 - one for online and offline the other just for offline (no dupping or whatsoever) and Im not entitle to play with the DLC on my offline account - same PS3. Just great.

Sorry for asking again if it was allready answered.
But as i have a PSN account, which i am using for playing GT5, the country it is registered too does not have a PSN Store.
Now when i would dl the DLC from a UK store with my diff PSN account, does that mean that i cannot use the DLC content with my primary PSN account????
If i would install the DLC with my diff PSN account and than switch to the one i am using would it still not work????

For example situlation:

You have US PSN account and which used to create the GT5 Game save
Your GT5 disc is Japanese,

You create a Japan PSN account to purchase "DLC"(Unlock Service) from Japan PSN,

That means, only your Japan PSN account could play DLC.
Due to your US account never purchase "DLC"(Unlock Service) before.

The Key is the Item where placed in PS Store.
The Goods container is Spec 2.0.
The Door is where the DLC button.

Thanks for the anwer. Which i must say realy s.u.c..s!!!!!! Ok so no DLC for me as i am not planning to move all my friends from one to the second account and to start playing the GT5 from scratch.
This is just 🤬🤬.
I am sure i am not the only one with this problem.
I hope they will adress and fix this issue as it leaves the ones without a PSN Store realy f.u.c..ed!!!!!!

I'd say it's unfair since the game doesn't prevent you from joining in the first place. You pay for having the track in your own game, not the ability to join a lobby which hosts it.

It's fair, maybe the host doesn't want people lagging up the game.

If australia got a DLC first i would kick non australians out to keep lag to a minimum.
 
Its the first time I pay for a DLC that I can only use on one user in my PS3... I have two users - one with PSN account and one without for offline racing and doing careers for the second time (when the game is worth it)

Does it have a PSN account? It might require one
 
Slightly miffed here. gran-turismo.com says the price is 12 USD. Its 92 DKr. That's close to 18-19 than 12.

Spa is great........All we need is a really big seasonal (like a Dream car Championship) with prize's to match

You can't, DLC is locked to the account you bought it from.

You have to pay it again... welcome to the club:ouch:

For a family of 3 brothers sharing the same PS3 the DLC will cost as much as the game itself

Just like HOME content, they can't.
PSN ID Service Content Can't be shared.
If you have 5 user account for different family members they are all required to pay.

That is not right. I have bought many games from PSN store and can use them with all the accounts. I do not even play GT5 with master account which has credit card details.
 
As mentioned in previous posts, the DLC cannot be transfered to ANOTHER account on the same PS3, short of duping the dupable items, and PAYING for another copy of the DLC. Tracks stay locked to the buying PSN Account.

Well, I hope this DLC is NOT turning out to be a hell of a freak show for PD... The North American users can laugh their backsides off about now.... /fanning the flames :)
