I'm quite curious as to who likes one or the other, both or none of them at all. I usually get the impression if you like one you hate the other, like myself.

Which do you like?

The only time I drink coffee is when its mixed with something else. Mixed coffee drinks mostly. The only tea I drink is Arizona ice-tea, or Lipton ice-tea

I drink one cup of strong, black, sweet coffee a day. However, I have nothing against tea, and depending on the meal, I'll happily drink tea as well. I like English Breakfast or Irish Breakfast; I don't mind Earl Grey, but it's not my first choice, and I love Black Currant.

I use to start my day off with 2 cups of black coffee with a teaspoon of sugar... and end it with a big cup of Chai Latte, or Green Tea.

Now, not so much, but I still like both quite a bit.

Coffee. I love it.
At work I call it my Jesus juice simply because I barely make it through the night without it and usually don't get my much needed second wind to finish off the night.

Tea every time, am I right in assuming that tea is far more popular in England than it is in America?

Right, but this isn't about drinking tea as a cold beverage... it's about tea as in the hot drink you drink at breakfast or whenever else.

Pretty much. The only tea people drink around here normally is Iced Tea (Liptons, Snapple) and Chai Lattes.

I'm odd in that I am familiar with a large variety of teas and such. Use to get large Stash sets, and have several cups a day. I am more found of most Herbal teas though, and other teas from Asia... Earl Grey and such just doesn't work for me. Black teas that have fruit in them though I do like (peach, etc)

My favorite is Ban Chi (Spelling, its been a while) Green Tea, just sticks and all. Tea ball, steep it, and just an amazing flavor.

I started out as a teenager drinking neither but it used to be a pain when you'd go to someones house and that was all that was on offer so I started drinking tea. That lasted til I fell pregnant with my daughter and I developed a strong disklike for the stuff. I then started drinking coffee, weak and black, over the years I have started drinking it a little stronger gone from 1/2 teaspoon to almost a whole teaspoon (not heaped). Don't like the brewed stuff at all it's too strong and bitter. And I am extremely fussy, has to be in theright size cup with excactly the right amount of coffee and sugar with a dash of cold water. My kids can't make it. The past year I have just started drinking Mochachinno, that happned quite by accident when I was served one by mistake after asking for a hot chocolate.

I love coffee. four spoonfuls of sugar and a little half and half :D. As for tea, i find it to be absolutely disgusting, but that is just me.

That reminds me, down here in the south they have this stuff called sweet tea :ill:. When i first moved down, i assumed it was just their phrase for iced tea, boy was i wrong :yuck:.

Neither, but during the Summer months I drink Lipton Lemon Iced Tea from the mix. I don't really call that a legitimate tea, but whatever. BTW, I just had some three hours ago with BBQued jalapeño and cheddar cheese quesadillas.

You aren't drinking coffee, you are having sugar with some coffee. Get some serious black coffee. Cajun style

I like a strong tea with a small tea spoon of sugar. I do drink cofee as well, but not nearly as much as I drink tea.
