I like the variety of cars in the game not just the GT3s but race cars in general from the little Suzuki all the way to the Red Bull X cars there is something for everyone and almost every kind of race I can think of. Love the old race cars, the Vettes, Camaro, Challenger, Hudson as well as the GT300 and GT500 cars

One of the great things about GT is that they have tried to put everything they can in each game

yeah do you think GT races are all around like a Nissan GTR GT3 facing on against a Audi R8 LMP or yet a Lambo Miura vs a Murcielago LP640 but yet GT3 cars were also used in Super GT events like the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 running in GT300 class

We could always have more but we have enough to create a proper series with some nice variety on the grid. That's really about the best you can hope for from GT and I think the cars we got are brilliant. 👍

If any GT3 car wants to break me free from the GT-R (and the occasional fling with the SLS).

This one will do. Maybe not that specific one, but you get the idea.

But being that PD has a "kinda sorta" relationship with Red Bull, this particular one also has a small bit of Playstation branding, and Sebastien Loeb was of course featured in GT5, so there is hope.

Inb4 that, a non-livery McLaren orange version, and a BS "base model" version.

whose drivers is it?

I know that Sebastien Loeb is one of them, but I'll find some more info.

EDIT: Loeb is the driver, along with Alvaro Parente. Loeb's team also has a 2nd car driven by Andreas Zuber and Mick Parisy.

Sebastien Loeb Racing (very creative name BTW) raced this year in FIA GT.

I would always love more gt3 cars but I think the main problem is the lack of liveries. for example we have 1 z4 with 1 livery, and an sls with 0 liveries. I cant imagine it being that hard to a create a couple of different real racing liveries for the cars, considering they are already modeled. like the sls that won the nurburgring 24 hour this year for example

I couldn't care less about some semi fictional Lexus, Subaru or Mazda gt cars that are present in the game, but I really miss big player in gt championship. Ok, Porsches can't be in, but why there is no racing Ferrari in the game is beyond comprehension.

Good point, I was wondering why the non-abridged GT3 car list seemed slim, though something tells me if the BOP tuning for the Ford GT LM Spec II was on, that car would be good.

Well you can never have enough cars... just kidding.

I just did the GT3 championship in the IA hall and it was really fun, more GT3 cars would be welcome.
Indeed,

That's beautiful. I hope PD add it if/when new Loeb content comes out. Now my GT Stealth cars will have some new competition. With that said, I wish they would add more GT3 events perhaps utilizing Mount panorama or Ascari,or even Apricot Hill as well as longer races. Another thing that gets me is the lack of car creativity in a way. We can't modify some cars to GT3 standards (Camaro SS'10 race car for example. Needs new Spoiler/ground effects) as well as things like a base model of the SLS. (That flat gray drives me crazy so I use the SLS Stealth instead).

I don't think they modeled fire and burning cars in GT6, so I don't believe the McLaren GT3 is a option. I can't remember a race where that thing wasn't going up in smoke...

I personally wouldn't mind having a fully homologated GT3 grid in gt6. Sadly EA has the rights to my biggest "must include".

LOL on the McLaren. If we ever get Porsche (which might be sooner rather than later) we'll probably get a GT3 spec 911 (Race car not the street car) and maybe an official livery at that.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the amount of GT3 cars in the game or the variety of cars. Which AI cars show up in different events and which ones are allowed are something different altogether.

In real races they do run LMPs and GT cars at the same time just not against each other. I personally have no problem with Gt doing that. It makes it more challenging to win if you pick a GT car and try to beat the LMPs with it

Yes - more GT3 cars, but also more race cars generally, especially if we eventually get an event creator I would want to be able to put particular classes of car together.

Mclaren M6, M8, UoP Shadow Can Am cars to go with the Chaparral 2D and 2J.
Jaguar D Type and the lightweight racing E type to go with the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe.
Metro 6R4 to go with the other Group B rally cars - especially if we could have a few rallycross tracks such as the Lydden Hill and Brands Hatch ones.
Some classic DTM cars such as the Capri powered by the 4 cam Cosworth 3.4 litre
Some unusual hill climb cars such as Nic Manns turbo V8 Morris Minor and current Manic Beattie.

Sorry for turning it into a wish list, but in my view you can never have too many race cars, but you really need an event creator to enjoy them in arcade mode and A spec, plus a much better online arrangement for hosts.

Yeah, I want more McLaren, plus Ferrari 458, Aston Martin Vantage, new Bentley Continental (too new still), and Lamborghini Gallardo...

Porsche 911: put tha in - as long as we have a Porsche license, which EA still owns and neither Gran Turismo nor Forza...but hopefully Porsche comes to GT6 or GT7!

No, you were right the first time. :sly:

I'm still holding out hope that Race Mod is going to return, along with a Livery Editor of some sort. The base model cars with their white or carbon fiber bodies indicates to me that the team are working in this direction. With Race Mod and a Livery Editor, we could make any number of cars and hopefully in any racing class we want, within reason of course.

With Ascari Resort being in the game, I want, dare I say it, the Ascari and its GT3 cars.

And yes, this is a Forza 4 image, and why I want Race Mod, or at least a wide range of racing body kits, and a Livery Editor. If we could do this, there would be no limit to the number of race cars of all classes in Gran Turismo.

And dittos to sparkytooth's post. 👍

If we could have Porsche in the game, then obviously a Porsche GT3.

I would also want a James Dean style Spyder, 962 and 917 Le Mans cars and if we could have Can Am cars - the 917 Can Am (1500bhp in qualifying trim!). 25 Porsche 917's were sold to privateers so there would be loads of possible liveries.

It would also be nice to have some historic GT4 cars such as the GT4 De Tomaso Pantera.

There are many GT3 cars out there, that's true and the list is growing every year but only a few are really necessary to complete GT6 lineup.

Aston Martin DBRS9
Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3
Audi R8 LMS
Audi R8 LMS Ultra
BMW Z4 GT3

BMW Alpina B6 GT3
Chevrolet Camaro GT3
Ferrari 458 Italia GT3
Ford GT GT3
Lamborghini Gallardo LP600 GT3
McLaren MP4-12C GT3
Mercedes SLS AMG GT3
Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3

Porsche 911 GT3 R
