Ascari KZ1 GT3: well with the Ascari Circuit added, maybe they need to add Ascari cars
Chevy Corvette Z06.R GT3: maybe we need to get used to the LM version of the Corvette in the game
Venturi Heritage GT3- we really need a Venturi, I haven't drove a Venturi ever since GT2
Ford Mustang VDS GT3- good addition but why not adding it?
Morgan Aero SuperSports GT3- I wanna know more about Morgan.

well im 5 months already here so still I may be new to GTP but still I joined this forum because I want to know more.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! There's so many GT3 cars to put in the game. I wish that Bentley Continental GT3, Gallardo GT3, 458 GT3 and MP412C GT3 should be in the game. Maybe a GT3 DLC Pack? :)

Oh well, there were also Dodge Viper Competition Coupes (GTS-R Concept race cars, but I don't like 'em), Maserati Coupes, DBRS9's and 911 GT3 Cup Cars at the start of GT3 class. :) Then suddenly, we got many GT3 cars, which is great. I hope, Continental GT3 will win next year since it got a great position at Yas Marina. :sly:

Combine these two thoughts, and we have the most perfect and likely scenario for additional GT3 cars. In fact, I'm willing to wager, if enough fans ask them, we could see a version of the Ascari GT3 in a seasonal on the Ascari race track. Hopefully with a companion 15-24 minutes of Ascari for GT3 cars or something. As for no Z06.R GT3 or Ford GT3, that is exactly why; their fantasy counterparts, as a fan of both of them, I think the intent is to get us to tune and self-BOP the cars to match the GTR, R8, SLS etc. but that's just my .02

PS. Merry Christmas everybody! lets have a GT3 24 hours of Bathurst or something!

The Ferrari 458 GT3 is not possible since T10 has license to that, also the R18 E-Tron and the TS030, well the problem for that one is they cannot recreate well its hybrid system unlike the Prius, Model S, CR-Z and other hybrids in Gran Turismo

T10 used to have an exclusive license with Ferrari, but they've given it up long ago and that's why we got Ferrari cars in Gran Turismo.

As for the R18 E-Tron and the TS030 - don't they have a push-to-pass KERS? It could work like the NOS and recharge when you brake. I'm quite sure it wouldn't be as complicated as you think. On the other hand, that other American car game can't do that as they don't have any button free for power boosts.

Do any of those still exist? A Mosler or Venturi would be interesting since they both are kind of oddballs

They don't race anymore. Venturi built the Heritage in 2007 but it was dropped due to the lack of participation. Same happened to Maserati Trofeo and Lotus Exige. Jaguar XKR, Mustang FR500GT and Morgan Aero 8 were added eventually but they got dropped by 2011 season. Alpina B6 and ZO6R got dropped by 2011 season too. So, that's how the new GT3 cars got here now. Same will happen to these beauties later on. :(

That's exactly what I had in mind when I heard Ascari Race Resort was gonna be included.

The KZ1-R GT3 would be a great choice to include in the game. Not only it compliments the racetrack, but it also qualified as an FIA GT3-spec car. It's a win-win. Perhaps, for many people, that particular car alone will bring more considerable satisfaction than any other GT3-class cars or any other Ascaris.

Or maybe not, as it doesn't seem as prominent as the other GT3-spec cars.

I only knew that Ben Collins, who used to be The Stig, drove a KZ1-R GT3 in the 2007 FIA GT3 season. He took it to pole position at Bucharest Ring, but crashed it at the latter stages of qualifying, consequently injuring himself. I firstly read about this in his book, "The Man in the White Suit".

But other than that I never heard of the car getting major achievements.

I'm sure they could set up something to make it work, the problem is the systems aren't the same on both cars, nor is the Peugeot. Also the cars don't have push to pass like F1, the system uses the energy at a certain speed and then recovers it again under braking At least that is what the 2012 E-Tron did. Also they'd need to generate the power each one makes accurately and how quickly it recovers since they all do it at a different rate as well.

Given PD's new full head on applying directly to the forehead approach with adding stuff to the game, I reckon they will atleast add a few new GT3 cars in an Update/DLC pack.

Agreed. Now that you said Mustangs and S2000s, I was thinking. What if the real Mustang GT3 came in as an RM version of the standard Mustang. I might even predict that the Callaway Corvette C7 GT3 could debut as an RM model if it can't be guaranteed as a separate model. Or maybe an GT3-capable S2000 RM. Come on PD, make it happen!
Totally. At some point, I'd like to see Kaz and the team go through the entire car roster and start making clusters of cars that would be good to race against each other, then either massage them into existing racing leagues like FIA GT or WTCC for example, or just make up Polyphony leagues. Get the modeling team to make at least semi-Premiums of them with cockpits and snazzy body kits, hopefully Prems, and slather them with tasty liveries. If these were offered as DLC packs, I'd buy 'em all.

And something I haven't mentioned in forever but have been meaning to, include the RUFs in the fun. We may not be able to have racing Porsches, but these would sure work!

By the way, merry Christmas Eve! :)

:DMy Ferrari 458 Avitar please as well as:

Corvette Callaway Z06 Racing
Lamborghini (2)
Aston Martin
Ford GT
Ford Mustang
BMW M3's (We have the GT2's)

In other words include all the Euro GT3 cars.

When you think about it, we should be able to race mod any FIA GT class car provided the commercial model is in the game. I like the custom shop for standard cars, but I want race mods that enable me to build HP and weight standards.
I would have long ago built my 458 GT3 car. PD needs to get on that.

I've asked for that in the previous FIA GT3 thread. Now while I like that idea, the way I'd like Race Mod to work is much more broad. To take a car, and give you the options to Race Mod it into any class of league it could sensibly fit into. So for instance, one of the Civic hatchbacks couldn't be made into a GT3 or ALMS race car, but it could be a BTCC, other hot hatch class or one of Polyphony's fantasy leagues. Likewise a 430 Scuderia or Countach could only become something like a GT Class racer.

I also want to see a Tuner Mod, but that's for when PD gets everything else done.

Yes, exactly.

At the moment, the Bentley, McLaren and another Z4 would complete a "Premium"/fully rendered GT3 grid. Or a base model Z4, a "Grand Turismo FORD GT GT3 Spec" and base model R8. I still dont understand why the PS R8 and LMS R8 aren't fully rendered.

Would go a long way in helping us to have a better Nurb 24H.
