Does anyone else feel like the star roulette tickets are rigged?

I just did the Tokyo Expressway championship and I've still yet to get anything more than the lowest cash amount. I understand that it's way too chance and all that but constantly randomly getting the worst option is making me raise an eyebrow right now.
I’ve got the large cash amount before but none of the bonus cars 😬

The odds are definitely heavily in favour of the lowest payout so I just look at those tickets as a tip.

I did win a Tundra from a 2 or maybe 3 star ticket which was pretty exciting. There was a gold bar in there, too, which I assume is the one million credit prize. @Famine should know.

I once got the full cash prize. I forget the number of stars. But it was 30,000Cr. I've seen on Reddit some people have won 500,000Cr on the higher roulette tickets. But yes, it does seem to be in favour of giving you lower prizes, though I did also once win the original MX5.

I uh, won some tipe of exhaust for a GT350R (a car that I do not have currently) with the one of the first tickets I've obtained.
Better something like this instead of the i3 that was on the roulette, I guess

It's definitely not like an actual organic roulette wheel where every option has an equal probability of being obtained. Each "prize" is assigned a probability score of some sort in the code, I'm sure. Like 5000cr prize is 1:1.5 whereas a car or engine is 1:9, for example.
Not sure if it's predetermined, and since it's always online there's no way to actually check by save-scumming, but I'm certain it's heavily weighted so that the lowest-value prize is more likely to be selected.

If enough people collate data from spins then the probabilities should become apparent. Assuming that they don't change depending on what the car or tuning part is as well.

I've had 3 4-star spins give me the 5,000 in a row now. I laugh at it cos of its meme potential but seriously, it's a bit irritating.

It should be a fun part of the experience and it's just as someone said above, a tip, underwhelming to say the least.

Not rigged, but the big ticket items have a smaller chance to drop than the low value items. In that sense the roulette visual is misleading.
I really just want the cars and the money. The parts are very specific to 1 car, so almost certainly useless to me.

I've won 3 cars from 3 star tickets. Nothing exciting, probably GT86 was the 'best'.
Other than that, its usually the lowest.

I read a theory about them 'fixing' the rewards in an update, and people holding onto higher tickets incase they do.

i got a stack of maybe 5 gold bars on a 4star ticket and it was 500k

Collector lvl13 here, and on Book 26 or so. I mostly get the mid- to high-payout credits. Got 1 car, maybe 2 parts. Otherwise just credits.

Feels pretty jank tbh. The roulette screen could use a visual overhaul, and the rewards could be buffed. Feels pretty bad to get 5k credits when so few tickets are given out.

Ofcourse its rigged, how else they are going to make you spend money on Microtransactions?
at least they give you option to buy credits directly with cash. And not buying just roulette tickets (I'm looking at you EA). So is not that bad.

I wouldn't say they're rigged, I'd say the RNG is very steep, personally I've managed to get the biggest about of money/gold bar 3 times, 2 mods (Subaru suspension & Nissan Turbo) and 3 different cars.

Got a nitro on my first spin then 5k on the second. I thought then it may be better to save them up until my collector level is higher, in case rewards are capped at my level.

I wouldnt say rigged, maybe damn predictable some days. So at the weekend the screen pops up with a few cash, an engine and a BMW i3... needless to say "WTF do i want with that car" entered my mind and im now the owner of it.. id of rather taken some cash

I won a Civic Type-R from one of my first tickets, which made the early races pretty trivial. The next ~15 tickets were all the lowest or 2nd lowest cash prizes...

I have felt that way but I also won 1million credits on a 4 star so, it's balanced out for me.
