well, do you? i'm starting to. first they make me buy that stupid fit. annoying, but not a huge deal. then i find out all races have PP restrictions and most have tire restrictions too. that is complete bs, but whatever i can deal. then i learn that the best paying race for time gives less than 11k a minute... trying not to lose my temper. alright, i've excepted all of this crap but then when i'm trying to get the S license i'm presented with a time trial in an anemic car with no light to speak of. ARE YOU FRACKING KIDDING ME!? someone's fixin' to get stabbed with a spoon. i manage to get past that only to find the endurance races are not very enduring. and then i find that most tracks are black holes at night. that is unacceptable.

i'm not thinking of selling is but i am thinking about putting it back in it's case and letting it collect dust for a few months while some updates accumulate. maybe by then they'll have released more, better paying races and change the PP/tire restrictions (preferably remove them entirely).

Well, they did a lot of this on purpose. They changed the physics, made it more difficult to make money, etc. and I think lots of guys are taking it the wrong way. It's just very different, people are used to making an easy 400k in GT5 from like 1- minutes, but in GT6 it's much more difficult. Many people who like the game to last a long time appreciate this, but fast-paced (like GT5) as far as earning money goes, don't like it.

It's tough to say, it's a great game, improved physics, more cars, better graphics, etc. so can't really see a reason to complain. I agree though, I like to compete in many different Online Comp's and it's a bit ridiculous how long it takes to earn money.

Not at all, its been as fun as GT5, it has pluses and minuses just like every GT has had since GT1, but I think ultimately its the best GT there's ever been (I've only played GT3 onward), would like to see more cars soon, great number of new tracks, pity about 30 fps, but I can't really notice it if I'm honest, overall very happy (and I paid $115 AUD for the AE too).

I think you get 55 fps by switching to 720p.

No regrets here. GT was showing its age and PD improved in several places. I agree on the credit issue but the game is structured to give players some driving discipline and reason to get better. Back on PS2 if you didn't know what you were doing then GT was in-accessible to say the least. As a video game it was terrible. Winning races was difficult thanks to the ruuber banding AI. GT has improved greatly. I can't stop praising this suspension model enough either.

The AI just kill it for me.
It all comes down to the races aren't fun.

The races are like time trials with obstacle cars.

That and as far as I knew, the course creator was gonna be there at launch. Now it's possibly coming in may, what?

GT6 should have just been an expansion to GT5.

I'm regretting the multiple bugs and an economy that is terrible for cars costing millions, but otherwise I enjoy playing the game by ignoring them. Granted I have to drive a car that is well under a race's PP limit and downgrade the tires in order to feel a challenge while chasing rabbits, but at least that option still exists. ;)

Yeah a little bit. I fell for the previews, praising the AI improvements only to find that it's actually worse than it was before - they've added rubber banding.

I'm going to return it next week to see if I can get my money back, massively disappointed with how shoddy the offline racing remains.

No. I don't regret it, certainly.

When I worked out the "cost of entertainment" of GT5 with a back-of-the-envelope calcuation, it worked out to be about maybe a couple pennies per hour of entertainment (between me & my spouse - sharing one game copy & DLCs).
There are not many forms of entertainment that cheap, when you look at it that way.
The only cheaper value-for-leisure we get is going to public parks.

And while I complain about some stuff. Overall, I have hopes that many of those areas will be redeemed eventually. So the good in the end will likely outweigh the bad for me.

There's some distinct improvements in GT6 over GT5 that are very palpable.
Just the added axis of movement in handling of the cars is huge to me.

That said, I didn't purchase the game to play single player with the AIs. I got the game to race driving cool cars with my real human pals online.

As someone who plays the game mainly for the endures (specifically 24Hr ones) I think this is out to be judged.

Don't regret it at all. Despite the lack of high paying seasonal and some aspects being unfinished, it's still the best the series has been since 4, and is a hell of a lot of fun. Excellent game, and I look forward to improvements in future updates.

No! I just went online for the first time, 425pp on the Ring. So much fun! Also, n2o was optional, so, out of the few cars I've got, I gave my stock S2000 some boost to match the pp range... Threw a tank in it, and man I must admit; The nitro was so much fun, started in 5th, ended up 1st. I wasnt alone with the n2o, and it lasted much more longer then I thought it would!

I havent bought one car yet, been using all gifted cars and my 15th collection are safe collecting dust. I have about 100k (pluss 1mill from the Anniversary edition wich I wont use... yet)

Despite that it may take some while earning money, I get that old GT feeling, the race to the finish may not be long, but it will take a while to get there! I've had the game for about 3 days now.

If you really feel any regret buying the game, get online in some not too powerful cars on a challenging track. And keep it real (clean)

I don't have it still, but my answer is No... Am I a bit worried about all the things people have been saying about it, but that's not going to stop me from getting the game. So again; I'm pretty sure that I won't regret it.

This game sucks because I can't buy a x2014 with racing softs and win every race!
That was funny...

I got my copy pre order but, due to my schedule I haven't had much time to actually enjoy it. GT has become like a living organism how it grows and grows. It will be an entirely different animal in every way by the time we retire this version. I would say looking at what we have to start with, things are looking good in camp GT. I'm having fun.

Really? I love the AI. As long as you pick a car that you know will be around the same spec's as the AI cars, maybe even a bit lower in PP they are good fun to race against, so no regrets here. :D

Originally I didn't like the PP limit but after reaching ib i'm greatly enjoying it. I find myself tuning my car more to a tracks specifics and being more cautious with money. Money wise, I have nearly my first 1,000,000Cr and I am looking forward to purchasing some more Japanese touring cars for ia. The only thing I dislike currently is; in the super car event in ib (630pp limit) I used a stock (No turbo upgrades) Mobil NSX and had some incredibly close races against Enzo's and McLarens as they outclass the NSX's straight light speed immensely, but when I use the same car with no upgrades in the Tuned Car Festival (another 630pp limit) it greatly outclasses them. It feels as if there's a huge drop off for no reason.
