Does Anyone Watch Wrestling? (WWE, AEW, TNA, NWA, etc)

The only thing I think is interesting is what going to happen AFTER Wrestlemania. I have no interest in any of the storylines as only really 2 were planned I advance and none of them are any good.

I'm just curious what WWE is going to do with only 1 World Championship.

I wonder if this will finally beat Wrestlemania 29 as my least favourite Wrestlemania

Madcap Moss won the Andre The Giant battle royale on Smackdown last night.

There were six minutes of ovation and Undertaker chants before he even spoke a word of his speech last night, and what a speech it was, he ended it with putting a Taker hat and jacket on and saying 'never say never'. 👀

NXT Takeover is today with Wrestlemania night one tonight.

Two matches in, and I think Grayson Waller already won the award for most disgusting bump of the weekend. Hope you didn't need that arm anytime soon, pal. :scared:

Dolph Ziggler retained the title perhaps surprisingly, this could mean Breakker gets called up to the main roster soon though.

RE Seth's opponent:

Still cool though.

As it stands and provided that the rumor going around of it being bumped isn't true, Ridge Holland is technically main eventing a WrestleMania.

I was wondering if Boogs' injury was a work to get Shinsuke back into singles matches, but if it's really a torn quad like they said then it likely wasn't. His right leg wasn't in a very good position when he got double-stacked so all that weight could easily done the damage.

Also, I just realized this is most likely the actual last time we'll hear Undertaker's music at a Wrestlemania, and I'm not sure how i feel about that.

Well that was a very whelming match.
It was actually a pretty decent match all told, they just piled the ending full of every screwjob finish trope in the book and it was completely unnecessary to do so.

Still, Belair/Lynch completely blew it out of the water. Honestly I'd call that one the match of the night.

TBH, Belair/Lynch was probably the best match. The Owens/Austin one was cool, too. And I enjoyed Rollins/Rhodes, really glad it wasn't a squash.

Glad I'm missing out of Wrestlemania, lot of stuff is a pass, nothing really seems remarkable.

Not gonna lie though, the whole Charlotte thing is just funny at this point. It's the opposite effect of Reigns Heel run. I loved Reigns Heel run at the start but it just dragged on and on with terrible challengers that are nothing more than obvious fodder that I stopped caring. I hate Charlotte run as champion but her constantly tearing down believable threats right after the after, while I still don't like it and bad, is just hilarious

And I do prefer Charlotte as Champion over Ronda Rousey (even though both options sucked), so I guess thats something

Honestly Rhonda had Charlotte's number for a fair portion of the match, and had she lost clean still would have looked good. But oh noooo, Charlotte had her foot on the rope and the ref reversed a three count! Oh noooo, the ref got bumped 30 seconds later and didn't see Charlotte tapped out (for the first time in her career, except for all those other times but those don't count because reasons)! Oh nooooo, Rhonda got blasted while helping the ref up even though she could clearly see Charlotte get up and cross the entire ring! You can do one of those in a match and get away with it. All three at once is just pointless.

It's pretty much the same as any other Wrestlemania: the good matches are really good, but the bad ones are kind of infuriating for one reason or another.

Belair/Lynch is definitely worth watching, and Bianca easily had the coolest entrance of the night too. "Freakin'" Rollins/Rhodes was actually a pretty good match, as was McIntyre/Corbin (Drew also did property damage with his sword after the match, which is always cool to watch). You can probably guess how Owens/Austin ends, but it's still a fun way to put a cap on the night.

Boogs had an injury very early so that match was a wash for unfortunate reasons, Flair/Rousey was a decent match ruined by the finish, and the Mysterios basically got buried to ulitmately put the Miz over, probably to start another title run even though absolutely no one wants that right now.

I'm a big fan of WWE which I watch on Youtube, the Undertaker is the best!! And Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, etc.

Great night's Wrestling in my opinion. Lynch v Belair was my match of the night as they had great chemistry and the match had great emotion and storytelling, Belair deservedly won and is new Raw Woman's champ, both entrances were fantastic. Another great match was Seth v Cody, Cody got a huge pop when his music hit and both he and Seth were superb.

Austin returning for that match was a great moment and it looked like he didn't miss a step and also took a suplex on the concrete! credit where its due to KO who deservedly had his dream match in the main event. Its was the right way to end the show. Logan Paul looked fantastic on his in ring debut and a great heel ripping off Eddie's stuff, Charlotte/Ronda was good but rough in places, finish to that one definitely sets up a re-match.

Drew v Corbin was good but a bit whatever, someone kicking out of Ed Of Days was a nice story. Really feel for Boogs on his first Mania to get a torn quad and it will need surgery, hoping for a speedy recovery.

Unfortunately New Day v Sheamus/Holland was cut but could still happen tonight, I think they showed too many video packages about tonight's matches during last nights show which took up a bit of time. Went to bed at 5am last night so I'm a bit bleary eyed, still looking forward to tonight. 👍

Show started at 1am, I hoped it would finish by 4.30....nope!

Might watch NXT takeover before night two tonight as I wasn't able to see it live.
