Does Anyone Watch Wrestling? (WWE, AEW, TNA, NWA, etc)

It got done around midnight for me. It was a good show probably won’t watch night 2 because I have to work tomorrow.

Honestly Rhonda had Charlotte's number for a fair portion of the match, and had she lost clean still would have looked good. But oh noooo, Charlotte had her foot on the rope and the ref reversed a three count! Oh noooo, the ref got bumped 30 seconds later and didn't see Charlotte tapped out (for the first time in her career, except for all those other times but those don't count because reasons)! Oh nooooo, Rhonda got blasted while helping the ref up even though she could clearly see Charlotte get up and cross the entire ring! You can do one of those in a match and get away with it. All three at once is just pointless.

It's pretty much the same as any other Wrestlemania: the good matches are really good, but the bad ones are kind of infuriating for one reason or another.

Belair/Lynch is definitely worth watching, and Bianca easily had the coolest entrance of the night too. "Freakin'" Rollins/Rhodes was actually a pretty good match, as was McIntyre/Corbin (Drew also did property damage with his sword after the match, which is always cool to watch). You can probably guess how Owens/Austin ends, but it's still a fun way to put a cap on the night.

Boogs had an injury very early so that match was a wash for unfortunate reasons, Flair/Rousey was a decent match ruined by the finish, and the Mysterios basically got buried to ulitmately put the Miz over, probably to start another title run even though absolutely no one wants that right now.
I would like The Miz to have another title run. He's actually really good at the Mic and can play the crowd really well, give him a good storyline and it's the best thing to happen on whatever show. I always thought The Miz deserved some sort of treat especially after 2016 which was where he really showed off improvements.

I'm definitely a narrative guy when it comes to Wrestling. Can't be invested in a good match of the characters involved, I just don't care for (which Wrestlemanias narrative was non existent). I'm sure Becky and Belair was a fantastic match but I can't bring myself to hop on and watch because the whole fued was shippable for me.

So night two then, after last night it has a lot to live up too!

They just talked about the New Day v Sheamus/Holland match so it looks like they will try and squeeze it in, if they do then it'll be 8 matches tonight.

RK-Bro retained the Raw Tag Team Championships, time to go back to stop caring for the rest

tbf I liked it when that large bald wrestleman picked up the very tall wrestleman and beat him up.
Now I question why we bothered hyping up the very tall man just to lose the very large man who already looks strong

Comic Relief Omos gimmick is now only a matter of when

The triple threat tag match was a good opener, nothing too crazy but there were some good spots in there. People jumping over the ring post to the outside always scares the hell out of me though, I've seen what happens when that goes wrong and it ain't pretty.:scared:

Lashley/Omos was... a match. Pretty by-the-numbers rassle-mans stuff, but I've seen far worse.

Zayn/Knoxville was the live-action cartoon I expected it to be, and I have to admit Michael Cole being unable to keep his composure and cracking up through the whole match made it better. Comedy matches are always enjoyable when everyone involved isn't trying too hard to act like it's anything serious.

The women's tag match was a big schmozz like 4 way tag matches usually are, but somehow they pulled it off without it being a confusing mess. I never did understand using the "you can tag in people from other teams" rule in a non-elimination match, though.

Edge/Styles was another decent match ruined by a dumb finish, and honestly it made AJ look like kind of an idiot.

New Day/Them Irish Lads probably should've just been cut entirely. Nothing to say about it, even the crowd seemed confused and upset. I guess WWE want to keep this one going until Big E can make a comeback.

McAfee/Theory was way better than I had expected. McAfee actually has some genuine skill and didn't need to be dragged through his moves like Logan Paul did (he also didn't look blown up after three minutes like Paul did). All the post-match shenanigans were fun too, and Theory nearly clearing the top rope from overselling that stunner was hilarious. Actually reminded me of how Scott Hall would go way overboard sometimes.

We all knew how the main event was gonna end, admit it. Brock usually goes bye-bye around this time of year anyway. Though now I have to wonder, are they actually going to unify the titles like the Undisputed Championship, or is he just gonna be Roman Two-Belts so when the inevitable MITB cash-in happens, they just take one from him and we go back to the status quo? I'm guessing probably the latter.

I'm still praying they're just giving up on the Universal Championship and we're getting back the World Heavyweight Championship :D

Money in the Bank is not for another 3 PPVs so if that's what they're going for with Roman to drop 1 to a cash in. Man I thought heel Roman was getting stale before

So for me night two was quite as good as night one but it still produced some great moments.

Match of the night for me was Edge v AJ by far as it was excellent, it did have kind of as flat finish but the this new faction of Edge and Damien Priest is interesting and they look good together. Main event went as many predicted and was a bit by the numbers, The Jackass match was brilliant and a lot of fun! McAfee v Theory was good and Pat looked good in ring, Vince getting involved and having a match at the age of 76 was a little weird but the bit at the end with Stone Cold was great even with that botched stunner to Vince!

New Day v Sheamus/Holland only lasted two minutes and a lot of the entrances were longer than that, Lashley/Omos and the women's tag title match was a bit whatever and the Raw tag title match was a very good opener, Triple H opened the show to say thank you to the fans and left his boots in the middle of the ring.

I did see NXT Stand and Deliver earlier and it was very good also.

So Roman might have been actually injured last night, jury's still out but saw a torn tricep suggested.
That would explain why the match ran short, then. He was saying "it's out, it's out" while he was laying near the ropes, so he coulda very well legit messed up his shoulder too.

Genuinely didn't see at any point during that match where Reigns got himself injured. First I've heard of it.

AJ styles was bleeding from the right side of his face during his entrance, he clipped the Mania stage as he came out before his pyro.

Apparently it was during the Kumera Lock.

It could be a dislocated shoulder

Now that you mention it, there was an offhand commentary remark near the end of the match asking if Roman had just popped his shoulder back in.

Roman has been advertised for Raw tonight, it says he will address the WWE Universe which is pretty vague!

I have only seen one report about his injury so it isn't everywhere, Cody will be on the show too and will be on Raw going forward as a face, Veer Mahaan will finally make an appearance too...hopefully!

Nice to see WWE rehird the writer behind Santina Marella to give us Ezekiel "Elias younger brother"

Not too much to take away from Raw last night but there was a few things.

'Elias' has returned but has dropped the beard and the musician gimmick and is now Ezekiel, who is supposedly Elias's younger brother.

Veer finally made it to Raw and took out the Mysterios, he has a match with Rey next week.

MVP turned on Bobby Lashley and is now with Omos.

Cody opened the show (there was a botch during his entrance) with a promo about how his father 'won' the World title at Madison Square Garden but didn't bring the title home as he won it via count-out, and now its his job to win the title for Dusty, Cody was in the dark match after the show against Kevin Owens.

There was an NXT title re-match between Dolph Ziggler and Bron Breakker which Bron won and reclaimed the title.

Roman closed the show but there was nothing about any injury, he was visibly hurt or in a sling or anything like that. He said he will explain what his next move is on Smackdown.

That's basically it, it was quite tame compared to other Raw after Mania's but it was Okay.

So they really are going to set Cody after Roman immediately, huh? Not too surprising I suppose, Roman can't possibly want to work both shows until MITB rolls around.

I imagine Seth is going to get involved at some point too, to get revenge for his Wrestlemania moment being ruined.

Not sure where they're going with 'Ezekiel'

I heard that it's going to be a split personality character like how they did Foley.
