Does Anyone Watch Wrestling? (WWE, AEW, TNA, NWA, etc)

I read that too, but on WWE.com it said that Bray Wyatt will give a promo featuring Taker's urn and that could make him come back or something...

Here is some pics in the link showing the Undertaker's training. I must say that he got into ring shape pretty quickly doing all that crossfit training. That's 315 lbs. on the bar that he is squatting. My uncle, who is classed as a Masters 3 and a former national champion in powerlifting, lifts that kind of weight every week on a cycle. What the Undertaker proves is that you can get strong quickly enough if you train and eat right.

Sidebar: I do happen to agree with some of the comments in the article in saying that Wyatt should have been the one to end the streak, and not an established star like Lesnar. The streak could actually lose some historical legacy if Wyatt and Taker put on a great match, not unlike last year.

Edit: In powerlifting, in case anyone is wondering, your class is divided and determined by weight and age, but mostly by age. A Masters 3, according to the Natural Athlete Strength Association, is anyone from 60 to (and including) 69 years of age. A Masters 3 is also the second highest class in powerlifting, with only a Masters 4 (for anyone higher than 70) higher than that in competition.

The Undertaker, if his Wiki profile is to be believed, would be a Masters 2 in powerlifting by the 25th of this month.

Any rising star would've been better than Lesnar. Though Wyatt would've been perfect, he and Taker. Past Demon and Future Demon colliding :P.

Conner Michalek will be heading into the WWE Hall of Fame as the first ever recipient of the Warrior Award, which according to WWE.com:

The Warrior Award will be given to someone who has exhibited unwavering strength and perseverance, and who lives life with the courage and compassion that embodies the indomitable spirit of WWE Hall of Famer, The Ultimate Warrior.

This year's award will be given by The Ultimate Warrior's widow, Dana Warrior and Daniel Bryan to his father, Stephen at the induction ceremony the night before WrestleMania.

As a result of Conner's life, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H have started “Connor’s Cure,” a fund dedicated to furthering Pediatric cancer research. If you wish to donate to the fund, the link will be below.

“On behalf of my family, we are truly humbled and honored that WWE will present an award in my husband’s name each year at the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony,” said Dana Warrior. “Connor displayed all of the positive traits that Warrior stood for, and he is the perfect recipient for this inaugural award. I am sure that Warrior is smiling today, knowing that this award is being given to a true warrior.”

“My family is forever grateful for the gift that WWE, its Superstars, Divas and executives gave to Connor,” said Steve Michalek. “They made him smile and encouraged him to continue fighting. His visits backstage, and his time in the ring with Daniel Bryan, brought Connor true joy and undoubtedly extended his life, giving us more time with him. Now, with this award and Connor’s Cure, Connor’s legacy will live on.”

"Connor Michalek had a profound impact on so many people,” said McMahon. "His spirit and love of life were so strong, you would have never known he was sick. I can think of no better way to honor Connor, than by recognizing him with our highest honor, the first fan to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, as a Warrior.”

Kids now in the Hall of the Fame? I really like the concept but the Warrior award should be its own thing and not be apart of the Hall of Fame, it ruins WWE from being anything wrestling just like celebraties getting into the Hall of Fame.

Raw was great if you're like me and interested in the hypes. It looks to bring the best in Wrestlemania but 2 problems;

1. WWE looks like they want to put everyone on the card. Great for the wrestlers but I see a bit of a cluster:censored: for some matches
2. I feel no emotion with Reigns and Lesnar, it looks like Heyman is doing all the work to get us hype while Reigns competes in random matches while Brock Lesnar just stands there. While Heyman is doing a grest job putting over this match by himself, I feel like it won't be enough.

I think the Warrior award is a great idea and I don't think it'll just be kids it'll be people that have touched the performers and fans..

I enjoyed Raw too, the only thing I didn't really like about it was Wiz Khalifa....

As much as awkward for Bryan to be added to this. I can see big things for the IC Title and Smackdown if Daniel Bryan wins.

Yahoo Sports: [Rumor] Kevin Nash is likely to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Announcement to come sometime today.

Lana is also shooting a movie. She may corner Rusev at WrestleMania, but her return is uncertain. The only thing that is certain though is that her presence in the set shouldn't be more than a month.

Speaking of Rusev, he is slated to get an elaborate entrance at WrestleMania for his United States Championship match against John Cena. Meanwhile, another casting company is hiring extras to be scarecrows for another elaborate entrance. The new entrance could be for either Sting or Bray Wyatt. My money is on the latter.

Raw was pretty good last night with the best ending on the show so far this year, Larry Zybszko latest inductee into this years HOF, best thing about Raw last night was Lana's replacement at the contract signing, he was so terrible it was funny, he spoke in some sort of accent (wasn't Russian) and looked like a cop from a 80's TV show and then he fell out of the ring during the scuffle at the end!

Snoop Dogg and Bill Simmonds to guest host next week (no idea who the latter is)

Fun fact, every Raw this year has started with a Promo, and nine of those has been by a member of The Authority..

The closest that I was able to pull up was that Mr. Bill is referring to the ESPN columnist.

Raw had a great ending though there wasn't much work in the other storylines besides Cena vs. Rusev contract signing.

I see another flaw in the Wrestlemania Main Event; Other matches are getting just about the same hype or even more than the Main Event. So a lot of attention will be taken away from McMahons biggest thing since John Cena.

That is mainly because the company, except for Vince, knows that the Reigns/Lesnar match doesn't have it. If you want to put it into terms that are similar, think of the Reigns/Lesnar match as a bottle of Ragu and the rest of the card as Prego. Marketing studies will tell you that they like a thin pasta sauce, but put a gun to their heads and they will tell you that they would like chunky sauces. In other words, there is no such thing as a perfect pasta sauce, only perfect pasta sauces.

Jim Sterling could explain the Pasta Sauce thing better than I could:

Tragic news this weekend, Mexican wrestler El Hiji del Perro dies after suffering spinal trauma during his match involving Rey Mysterio, TNA's Manik and El Tigre and Konnan at a AAA event on Friday night, he took a drop kick to his back by Rey and fell to the ropes to set up the 619 and he just flopped down and fell unconcious, he died in hospital early yesterday morning...

Rey has had some pretty horrific abuse aimed at him on social media since, which is completey unwarranted as it wasan accident, he must be really cut up about it..

It's stuff like that, that makes me dislike the internet.

Raw was good lat night, liked the Sting seg at the start (Sting opening the show was awesome!) not a lot happened but it was just a good show and i thought they built up the matches at Wrestlemania nicely..

Biggest problem i had was they had a Divas title match last night and not this Sunday which should definitely be the other way around, Paige faced Nikki and AJ accidently got involved and cost Paige the match (Nikki still champ) and Paige and AJ brawled afterwards, no one will really care for the Divas tag match on Sunday now, but the match on Raw was good and they gave it a proper amount of time...which is unusual of them!

Yeah just read it now, said in interview with ESPN that the offer was too good to turn down and that his UFC days are over

This means that Reigns winning on Sunday is no longer 100% and might set up Lesnar v The Rock at 'mania next year

I really hope Lesnar doesn't retain. His part-time appearances ruin the prestige off WWE World Title especially when the Champion barely wrestles. Though I also don't want Reigns to win either, he is getting the Cena treatment but at least, Cena can do well on mic at times. They ruined Reigns when they made him no longer the "silent assassin". My only hope is that Seth Rollins cashes in but, it'll be a cheap way to end (like the ending of Wrestlemania IX). Though at least I can respect him as a champion.

Have Lesnar win, turning babyface and Reigns heel in the process to end WM. Raw the night after have Rollins cash in.

As much as that is a good idea for a turn around. I don't think Vince will allow that as he seems bent on making Reigns the new Superhero of WWE.

Watched NXT from last night earlier and it was good, only had two matches but they were a Womens Championship match between current champ Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss and a NXT title match between current champ Kevin Owens and number one contender Finn Balor, the Divas match was decent but the main title match was really good, also watched another edition of Monday Night Wars....all on the Network..
