i personally agree with ptk. it pisses me off to have spent days on a tune to get beat by a tune copied in 5 minutes. i tune like you... to be faster than the guy next to me.... sure its about having fun... but the thing is.... beating the guy next to you friend or foe is half the fun! knowing that you put more effort in learning and applying that knowladge to your car vs the guy next to you is half the fun.

I can see the point, KT, but you want to make sure that it's just a game, and that stuff like this shouldn't be taken real seriously. Dom won't lose any respect, he's helping out the public. Sure, he's being REALLY generous, but it's just a game, after all.

If he posts it, he posts it. Nowadays, people have SSRX, and anyone can make a winning tune out of SSRX now, so it doesn't really matter.

you are right swara, it is a game. games are meant to be fun, and as i said before thats half the fun knowing you gained and applied knowladge better than the guy next to you.

and ssrx wont help anyone who is constantly handed top tunes. you know all you hydro guys are my bros but i gotta stay with what i feel is right.

But SSRX does help people MAKE top tunes.

Let everyone take my tune and call it there own at least when I see them online there will be some competition and not just between the same people anymore. . I'm whatever about this thread... Dom wants to post his tune its fine by me. Clearly he doesnt care. some support it and others don't. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion.

I'll admit, before this post, my VIPER was 8.998 and I had never used it in weeks, primarily because I dont like the VIPER anyway, but, my gears are similar therefor the only thing I took from this was re-justed Aero (I was 35) and My Camber was +3 as opposed to +5.

From those 2 adjustments, I went from 8.998 to 8.993... so props to the OP.

However that being said, it took me an hour to get 8.998, but only 30 seconds to get an 8.992.. so I can see and (even tho it helped me) also agree with others in that, it's too much of a "spoon-feed" IMO, but hey, it's your tune mate. You'll help alot of people who have spent hours on their tunes and deserve the help, however you'll also help others who are spoilt and dont even deserve base tunes... Thanks for the info tho. 👍

I cant believe this thread is 5 pages and most are angry comments and bitching about someone that has given his tune out so what if he has so what if someone copies it (I haven't as I like to do my own) the person next to you still has to hit every gear right and get it off the line so the challenge is still there!!!

You'll be able to weed out the noob with Doms ACR...he'lll be the guy with a fast ACR beating almost everyone in the lobby then stays in the same car for 2 hours after everyone changes to muscle cars or evo's and sti's....oh yeah, he'll still ask for tunes after beating everyone with it. Launch in second, Unless your trying the retro launch that is very difficult to do for some people. I've tried unsuccessfully.

lol yea same here. launching in 2nd gets me 9.066 but i havent broken in the viper yet. maybe later on i will try it out and update it. my old time was 9.089 and all i did was his transmission tune onto mine and a wing.

I realized that it was Dom's decision, and that we should respect what he does, instead of telling him the total opposite.

wow... i see this has lit up. like i said i put my 2 cents in. an now im here to put my third and final one in. someone had said that you need to shift the car down the track, but in all reality its incedibly easy, and now they can even look at how to launch it insted of experimintation, the way i, ptk, swara, slash, and many others i have not named did. and now guess what, you dont have to go to indy and tune againt the fastest guy you know because you have ssrx! problematicly, this is the exact think killing the drag community. either way slash, it appears we need to keep our rooms limited to 1015 hp or less. now everyone is gonna try and run me for pinks in acrs. either way this is my last post in this thread, i agree with mikey i see it getting locked and buried.
