Nice. I loved Mass Effect 3 Co-op.👍
Me too absolutely loved it and still love it. Currently have 455 hours into the ME3 co-op. So if you loved that, you will feel right at home with the DAI co-op. It is very similar. You unlock characters, weapons, potions, and level up all the same way you did in ME3 co-op. Rewards for gold, rewards for teamwork, and so many other similarities.

It's been a few years for me since ME3 but I'm sure I'd get the hang of it. If my 360 worked halfway decent I'd still play some ME3.:)

First RPG venture for me (the shame), always get bored with these but will give this a proper go. I'm a level 4 elf guy.

Anyone try to play the co-op mode last night on the X1? I tried around 7:00 EST and it seemed like the servers were down. I know they recently performed an update so maybe that was the problem. It was the first time I have had issues with this co-op since I bought it last week. Maybe just an EA hiccup.

We all do :)

I'll be seeing you then :) I still have the nightfall to do on my Hunter, and everything to do on my warlock so we'll probably be playing that too.

So do they haha

@Frizbe
Send me a FR if you haven't already.

Put quite a bit more time into this co-op over the weekend. My 2nd character (Archer) reached level 20. Then I promoted that character. After that I started a 3rd character (legionnaire) and now that one is level 10. I also completed the weekend challenge. For this challenge you have to complete at least 6 FULL games without anyone going down. I also unlocked quite a few banners and other fun items.

I played this weekend, but only the singleplayer. I was at quarter of the game left so I spent the weekend getting it done, as its just been sitting for a while. 147 hours, now time to move on to a new character :)

Good times this weekend, wanted to play on Saturday night too but you weren't on after we finished watching How to Train Your Dragon 2, you must've gone to bed. I'm going to start a 2nd character for multiplayer after I level the first one up a bit, going with a Mage next.

In Single player I built a Dual wielding Rogue character, have to say I'm really enjoying it, the skill trees have a lot of great options.

I was messing with Sera the other day, and I have to agree. I usually stick to just controlling my main character, but had to use her really quick to get some of some archers and I was pleasently surprised. I think I'm going to start that as my next character.

Yes it was good times for sure over the weekend.

My legionnaire is now level 15 and is starting to grow on me. Usually CQC is not my kind of combat style. But last night I unlocked a grappling hook move that pulls the enemies instantly to you just like Scorpion from Moral Combat. So if an annoying archer is shooting me, I can pull them all the way across the map to me. So now I am finally starting to enjoy this character. Ranged enemies are no longer a problem.

Last night I also decided to promote my 1st character and my favorite character, the Keeper. I really love how they reward you in DAI for promoting characters. Each character you promote, makes ALL of your other characters more powerful. Very motivating to promote once you hit level 20. Just absolutely loving this co-op mode. It gets better every day I play it too. :)

The game is really growing on me, level 8 rogue (archer) here, still just getting started but can see myself playing for a while.

Noob-ish question but how do I upgrade the other characters correctly? (how do I know if they're one handed or two handed weapon users etc).

Easiest way would be to see what weapons they come with. If you auto level them up they should stick to that tree. Although you can actually make them be whatever you want to if you Respec them. There is a character that started out as an Archer, that I made into a dual wielding Rogue.

Another way would be going to Character Record from the pause menu, and see what skills they have selected. They should only be in one branch.

Ah got it 👍 I'm surprised how good the game looks, it's really fun exploring, also what's the fastest way to level up (closing rifts? )

Played some more of the co-op mode and completed another weekend challenge. My 3rd character the Legionnaire hit level 20 over the weekend and I promoted him. Didn't care much for that character.

Since I completed the previous weekend challenge I was gifted a free large chest. When I opened it I was surprised to see it was a new free character! The Reaver. My Reaver is around level 5 or 6 and I already like this character a lot. Especially since I can steal health from other enemies.

I am still saving up all of my loot, and dismantled items to create the Necromancer. But it seems I still have a long way to go and a lot more resources before I can create that character.

So I hop on last night and THIS is my reward for completing the weekend challenge. This is the EXACT character I have been saving all my resources for. And I was lucky enough to unlock it for free from doing the weekend challenge!! :D
