It looks like you can now pre-order the first DLC for AC. It will include a laser scanned re-creation of Nordschleife, 10 new cars, and "Bridge To Gantry mode, that allows you to simulate the real track day rules of Nurburgring." (quote taken from the steam page)

Here is the car list for this pack as they are listed on steam:

Alfa Romeo 4C
Alfa Romeo 155 Ti V6 ‘93
Alfa Romeo GTA
BMW M235i Race Car
GM Corvette C7r GTE
McLaren P1
McLaren F1 GTR
Mercedes-Benz C9
Mercedes Benz 190E 2.5-16 EVO II
NISSAN GT-R NISMO 2014 GT3

I will need to buy this as soon as possible. Very excited about a few of those cars and the new track.

Yes! I also forgot to mention that it is currently 33% off, making it $9.99 which seems insanely cheap for the amount of work they must have put in on the 'ring. Not to mention the 10 cars.

Can you put some links in the OP leading to the Dream Pack description?

The Nurburgring-Nordschleife

Since its construction (1925 - 1927), the Nordschleife has enjoyed a reputation as a terrifying and merciless route through the Eifel forests. An English journalist who visited the Nordschleife during the opening race on 18 June 1927 even concluded “that it seemed as if a reeling, drunken giant had been sent out to determine the route”. The Formula 1 pilot Sir John Young Jackie Stewart – after all a three-time world champion in 1969, 1971 and 1973 – was so impressed by the circuit that he gave it the name which it will probably never lose: Green Hell (Grüne Hölle).
Racing and winning on the Nordschleife has always been very special for racing drivers, because the track is one of the most demanding in the world. Tricky corners, treacherous crests, steep inclines and gradients an d constantly changing road surfaces demand great skill from the driver and put vehicles to a hard test.
The best-known event today is the ADAC Zurich 24-hour race, which is held on both the Nordschleife and the Grand Prix circuit and which for four days transforms the entire circuit into a huge spectacle. Up to 800 amateurs and professionals in up to 200 cars take part in this race.

Sure thing. Wasn't sure if there was some rule against it or not. I just pre-purchased it myself. Also picked up rFactor on steam, which I never saw before.

They had me at "McLaren P1"

Stupid question, how long does DLC stay 'active' ?. I plan on playing AC eventually once my PC-adventure is complete, but I plan to start 'easy' before buying the more expensive games/content.

That would be SICK, the trackday mode...

Only if the hazard lights and direction indicators work. How else would you be able to tell people you're holding right, or that there is a hazard and speed needs to be reduced?

/offtopic
Never seen anyone state they are from Emmen before. Didn't know there were simracers there as well. ^_^

There's a video up on virtualR... The full layout is the 24h one, not the VLN one. Which is good news for me at least :)

Already bought it and it's an absolute bargain at £7.33 can't wait for next Wednesday

Agreed! I couldn't believe this was the price of the DLC, this price is with 33% off and even at full price of £9.99 is still a bargain! Looking forward to this...

I pre ordered this last night and I'm spending the time between now and its release to decide on which car to take to the 'Ring first? That's a waste of time though, I already know. It's Ruf on the others - and I don't care how many feathers I ruffle - but it has to be Yellow.

So many choices, so little time. I'll probably start a little slower to get the feel of the circuit. BMW E30 sounds pretty good...:):)

4c  I am slowly warming the misses up for a 2016 purchase of one. ;) So far though its still pretty chilly around here.:(
If i would have the dough set aside for a 'pleasure car', i would go for the 4C also. I'm sure it will only increase in value too in the next decades, and it's a lot of fun aside from looking drop dead gorgeous. Watch out for narrow streets though, although i suppose in the states that's not such a problem with all that space.

This is going to sound like a really, really dumb question... but If I got AC & the DLC through Steam on my old laptop (to get the DLC cheaper) but did not install it, could I just wait until I had my new PC up & running to install it then ?

Just curious, I have no problem paying the full-price for the DLC (2+ years of work afterall), but since I'll be getting AC anyways it couldn't hurt to save a few bucks if I can.

(Especially after spending many on the new PC)

If you buy games on steam you can download them on any pc, as long as you do it with your own account ;)

......................I will need to buy this as soon as possible..................

I think it's safe to say that 99% who already own AC, that we're all gonna need to buy it as soon as possible, and we're all gonna smile when we pay US$9.99 because it's a steal.

Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to see the overwhelming response of AC fans to the DLC in all the forums I've visited, has been along the lines of, "What, $9.99, that's way too cheap!!", as opposed to, "what, we have to pay for DLC, what a cash grub, u suk Kunos, y u no give it away for free...rage/anger/entitlement..:mad::mad::mad:" Gamers actually concerned that Kunos may have made a mistake and priced it too cheap and it might affect their long term viability. It's like opposite world in gaming!!:sly:
