Great idea for a thread. I could go off an how the drama in this thread is emblematic of the general misunderstanding of the drifting phenomenon in the U.S. but I won't.
Having said that I took it upon myself to try to fake a drift pic. I did two pics of the same car, on the same track, similar angles to look for telltale signs of falsity. I think the results are pretty obvious.
Tire smoke in the real pic, tire tread visible in the fake, the suspension stressed unevely in the fake, and in my case the fake one has an decent line (I'm a GT drift NOOB).
I think if someone has the ability to fake these things with photo-shop just to win a silly contest that has no real prize on an internet forum, more power to them. For me I'll just keep tweeking the old GT-B. I'll get her to drift roght one of these days.

You people are complicating the **** out of the simplest to understand thread I can imagine ever being posted in the history of GTP. Have fun bickering, and thanks for ruining what could have been a fun contest for me.
Most people are thinking it's a drifting photo competition because that's what it is titled. Not to mention it's in the drifting section. Change the name of the title just Photo Competition and i think that'll solve that problem.
I was thinking about doing some pictures for this comp myself, but some os the submissions are probably 100x better than my best photo =p

Please stop arguing in this thread. If you want to bicker like school-girls, go somewhere else. This thread is for pictures, not flames.

My pics are coming soon, but i have an idea. Why not make it a specific turn on a specific track for next week, rather than just a specific track. This way it forces people to be more creative??? EHHH weee no, weee no!!!

came back to yours, looked at how you have the flame (dont know how to do that personally?. get the flame?)...
saw u included the sun, the beams of light...
saw how you have the road and backround...
the car isnt the WHOLE pic, which is awesome....
figured so far you're my vote.
ill have pics up soon.... I didnt read what course it had to be and made some photos of a diff. course... ahhh well.
