New DriveHub user with a Fanatec DD1 with a Clubsport Universal Hub v2 for XBOX, R300 rim and CSL Elite pedals.

Had a heck of a time figuring out the right button combo's on the Universal hub to get my DD1 into CS 2.5 PC Comp mode and then setting the DriveHub to Fanatec mode - Hope the below diagram helps somebody else!

Fanatec mode made a huge difference vs Fanalogic mode in GT7 and now the funky switch controls the MFD settings, curbs and road feedback is significantly improved!

Note you can also switch modes by using the hamburger button on the right cluster alternatively to the one up top(above the Xbox funky switch in your pic and easier to reach).

Also are you able to access the ps menu at all by pushing the Xbox button? I am unable on my hub v2. Seems like there is no ps button mapped.

Yes, the Xbox button acts as the PS button and I can access the PS menu this way.
 
Hello again @Podger. I am thinking of trying my sprints on my PS5 again. I have the DD1 PS4, and I am wondering what the best/recommended configuration is. When I tried this last year it all worked but there were frame rate issues. I had the DD1 in the controller socket, and sprints in the accessory. I have been reading a lot recently about 2.08 and 2.09 so I would appreciate guidance on the best and most reliable configuration.
 
Any changes for CSW 2.5 in beta 9?
Running beta 8 and don't get the extra functions on the Macca V2 wheel, will the CSW 2.5 show as a DD Pro under beta 9? If not can it on Beta 10 :-)
 
Hello, it's my first message here !
I'd only like to know if the drivehub is compatible with the T248 from Thrustmaster : I actually use this wheel for GT7 on PS5 and the thing is I also own a XSX with others car games like Forza 5 and F1 2021. I wish I could use my wheel on both systems, but there is absolutly no clue on the internet !

Thanks…hmm mine definitely isn’t mapped properly or working. On fanatec driver 440 with beta 9 on DH. Xbox Button works fine on Xbox or on pc using driver software test. But on ps5 I push it and it does nothing. Directional clicks work to navigate, but clicking in nada. I have to use the Hori minipad to access the ps menu. It’s annoying.

However, my v2.5x formula wheel does support the ps menu using its Xbox button. Bleh.
 
Did anyone have issues with DriveHub with the latest GT7 update on PS5? I lost ability to use my Driving Force GT. Even though DriveHub itself still detects and registers the DGFT in its LED light up seqeunce, the PS5 doesn't respond at all to the controller being connected, disconnected, powered down, powered back on, the DriveHub being disconnected and reconnected, the Hori Mini controller being disconnected and reconnected, etc.

I updated DriveHub's firmware to the latest beta (2.0.9) and it didn't change anything.

But it may be specific to using the DriveHub with my USB 3.0 Hub. I moved the DriveHub directly to the front-facing USB-A port on PS5 and now the PS5 registers the connected controller. I was able to play GT7 with the wheel without any issues after doing so. The Hori Mini controller itself still gets recognized if I plug it directly into my USB 3.0 hub, but the DriveHub still isn't working when I try to shift it back to the same port.

@Podger My CSW 2.5 is showing as a DD Pro, the FFB is a lot stronger had to set torque down from 4/5 down to 2, also I can't use the red toggle buttons on my Mclaren V2 wheel.

Can the toggle and encoders be mapped to the individual MDF buttons from the DD Pro GTS wheel, the Red toggles for BB and Fuel, and encoders set to Torque and TCS?
 
Not sure what it could be related to exactly, but after the latest GT7 update, I sometimes get a weird and noisy rattle when turning the wheel on idle or under 10km/h.
CSW2.5 in Fanatec mode.
 
Haven’t played in about 2 weeks (prepatch) and now i am doing the daily C time trial and i am noticing some stuttering every now and then.

Anyone else noticed it? CSW 2.5

I have told podger about the increased FFB issues and will hopefully look at it soon. almost feels like logitechmode

FFB is also feeling "better"? Or just stronger? Cause Iam using also csw 2.5 and BMW GT2 wheel and running beta 8. My ffb feels not detailed enough especially road feeling and curb feeling on Asphalt. Rally Tracks are feeling awesome.
Did you turned down ffb strenght in fanalab or at the wheel?

Can you notify Podger about this? I tried again, disconnecting the Hori controller and using the DualSense there is no micro stutter. It’s not very noticeable, but still annoying. I bet a lot haven’t noticed it.
 
Have noticed since the last update that I can no longer hit gold medals on music rally. Not as bad an issue as pre-8 and 9 beta, where the stutter or whatnot was so out of sync, but it’s impossible to even get silver with the wheel and DH now. Maybe it’s due to the new micro-stutter issue?

He knows about the slight stutter and Increased FFB feel and i have forward him the post about the not being able to hit gold due to the stutter.

Unsure when he will get time to look at it. As hes on other projects, i don't want to keep bugging him about it. But im sure he will look at it Soon.

That's weird. For me with csw wheelbase 2.5 and beta 8 and newest gt7 update everything is fine. Just not enough road feeling and understeer feeling. Iam in fanatec Mode in the drivehub.

This^^^. I have 2.5 as well and everything feels pretty good to me. Could it be better? Sure, I guess, but I don't know what I would ask for at this point. Sometimes I wish I had about 5 rigs set up next to each other with different equipment so I could compare it all back to back. But that's silly. For those with the 2.5 I don't think we'll ever see native support for GT7. But for now I'm satisfied with what I got.

I went from beta 8 to 9 and that gives a big jump in FFB on the CSW 2.5

Wouldn't recommend it. unless you want the new stutter bug and crazy oscillation. beta 8 fixed the original stutter issues and kept most wheels as a CSL elite.
Beta 9 changed the game to see our wheels as GT DD pros (assuming the csw are also seen as it?)

Because the new gt7 update changed FFB on DD wheels, its created a new issue/bug only on beta 9 i believe. (beta 8 should be ok)

The new ffb bug is like what the FFB felt like when we tried logitech mode at the beginning. very heavy and crazy oscillation especially on fast cars. sure you can lower the FFB settings both ingame and on wheel but you will prolly be losing detail.
the Stutter bug is so small I'm assuming a few ppl might not even notice it. but def there and looks to mess with times again.
