Here's some more information from Collective Minds regarding Play Mode;

"As for Play Mode...quite simply it’s unrelated to Steering Wheel functionality [or] compatibility, it’s a feature we are implementing in the near future. It was necessary to cover in the manual as it is built into the very fibre of the product...Play Mode will unlock additional functionality for other devices once it is ready."

If this thing has no input lag that's massive.

After 5 days with it. I am glad to say there is no lag. So yeah. The Drive Hub lives up to its claim. My CSR feels more responsive on the XB1, while running in Fanalogic (Logitech) mode; than it ever did running on the 360.

I cannot put into words how great it feels. If you have a racing sim, and an older wheel that didn't get PS4 or XB1 support. You should get the Drive Hub.

Is the DriveHub intended to allow any supported wheel work with a PS3?

I'm trying to get a Logitech G920 to work with GT6 on a PS3 and having no luck

I flashed the hub code to "Retail 31", plugged in the PS3 controller, plugged in the wheel, plugged the USB cable from the Hub to the PS3, observed the figure 8 and things are close, but not complete.

The paddle shifters operate the view and nitro, not the gears

The clutch operates the brake

The gas and brake pedals do nothing. In fact there is no way I can get the car moving

Any ideas?

Mad1723, you might start rethinking bicep day at the gym, with that combo.
I've heard good things about the strength of the wheel. Can't wait to also do leg day with the CSL load cell pedal :P

The product is intended to add support for the wheels on PS4 and Xbox One. PS3 is NOT supported at this time. Could be in a future update, but this is not the intended use at this moment. Possible that a firmware update will add this.

I went to try Fanalogic mode but my PWTS will not allow me to press the 2 buttons at the same time. Anyone with this wheel or a GT2 or 3 will know what I'm talking about. Those 2 buttons are on one piece and can't be both pressed at the same time.

Doesn't the Drive Hub default to Fanalogic mode? What wheel are your games telling you are using?

I believe the "0" is normal. That's what my DH is displaying, no matter if I'm in Fanalogic or Fanatec mode.

I intend on posting a pic of the following. And I am on Xbox One.

For me, while I am playing PCARS; if I am in Fanalogic mode, the game sees a Logitech G920. If I switch to Fanatec native mode, the game sees a Microsoft WRW. It's not hard to guess which wheel mode I am using, after looking at what PCARS thinks I am using.

Hopefully they consider adding support for the TH8RS soon so I can use it with my T500. Had I known a product like this was going to be released this year, I would have pre-ordered Forza 7 during E3 week.

PCars on XB1 uses the MS wireless wheel pic for any wheel its not aware of.... eg my TMX gets that picture and my TX gets the TX alitaia 458 picture.... Its just a stock picture that they use...

:banghead: My order is being held in customs. Ordered from shop.cronusmax.com. Suppose I need to wait now for some customs charges invoice before they continue processing my delivery? This is my first overseas purchase.

I rushed to order asap not realising there was the option to buy from Collectiveminds website. Oh well, I NEED, the Drive Hub.

If you have a th8rs to hand, please try it... We never came across anyone who had one... It may just be the same as the th8a.... If not we can add support with your assistance

The only problem for me though. The wheel only works in Fanalogic mode. If I try using it in Fanatec mode, I can't steer and the menu and view buttons don't respond. Oddly enough the Drive Hub responds to those buttons being pressed, so I can use the guide button to back out of the game, and switch back to Fanalogic mode.

Also Assetto Corsa sees a controller in Fanatec mode.

Switching modes in game will lead to patchy results.. Some of the games are dumb... They can't tell what wheel is being used

I'm on the same boat. They even calculated tax wrong (without currency conversion) and added extra charge for doing so. Even tho I filled there form and provided all the data for them.

In the end I have to pay extra 36 euros ... Gonna write a complaint.

Mine is through customs and will be delivered tomorrow..... and then I am not at home because of a birthday party.... oh well......

True enough. That's why I always switch on the home screen. On my Xbox (I don't know if anyone else experiences this) Fanatec mode just doesn't work, however; Fanalogic mode kicks butt. It's strange, but not too much to be concerned about.

Can't you show up around cake cutting time with a gift, yell "Happy Birthday" and then, make a B line back home? I want to see what you think about it.

While Drive Hub is hot swappable, Assetto Corsa doesn't like it & will stop working properly with wheels. I had no problems plugging it in & out in Project CARS, but everytime I tried it in AC it just bugged out. It's best to completely quit that game before doing anything related to changing modes or plugging Drive Hub in & out.

Sorry guys. :( When I first posted up this thread I didn't even know who Collective Minds were, let alone that they had their own website & were selling the Drive Hub on there as well. As soon as I found that out I updated the OP with the other ordering & shipping options, & included their warning about potential shipping charges too.

There are also two warnings about shipping charges on the Cronus site (see pics), but they are easy to miss if we don't do our homework. I've been ordering things from all over the world & never got hit with any Customs charges until a few months ago, & it was a very unpleasent experience indeed! Posted a thread about it here on GT Planet.

No worries. I thought that only CM shipped them and jumped on the preorder wagon because shipments where on there way and I knew that these kind of items are limited.

CM them self could notify the users, but they want the sale and I understand that.

CM does warn about the taxes. You know that as a customer. And it depends on the country you live in. CM has nothing to do with that. It is a common thing when you order from the outside the EU and the value is above a certain threshold.

Finally I can pick up my DH today and I have to pay 30 Euros for taxes and customs handling. I hope it's worth it. From the things I read, it is. More later.

edit: picked it up :) it is soooo tiny!

Just got this. One problem, manual doesn't say anything about when put devices on(?) So, do I turn everything on first and then start to connect things, or first connect everything and only after that put CSW v2, PS4/XOne controller, and PS4/Xone console on?

1. Turn on your console
2. Make sure your controller is off.
3. Connect the wheel and controller to the Drivehub
4. Turn on the wheel
5. Plug the Drivehub up to the console.

And last for Fanatec, press the select button on the wheel.

Cool, got it working. I guess it's ok that hub show O when driving on PS4(I did put it to race mode with pc). Now we just need that someone would do button charts for different Fanatec rims(I have 6 of them, orig/XOne un.hub, F1, BMW GT2, Porsche 918, CSL P1).

But in general this is little man's triumph agaiinst giant evil empire, which sony is.
