The lighting seems to have a weird brownish tint to it, that's a bit worrying.

I wouldn't say the lighting has a brownish tint, the lighting itself is actually very realistic. It's more that the location itself is very, uhh... brown.

That cockpit looks so good.

Looks almost exactly like the F4 cockpits in a good way. However the hand motion is some of the best I have ever seen. Each finger lifts individually for the paddle shifter. Amazing attention to detail.
Handling looks similar to Hot Pursuit or PGR4.

You're judging handling on GIFs?

The good news about the graphics is what they are showing appears to be real time, but thats also the bad news as the shadows arent very impressive and there isn't any reflections in the mirrors. Also some track textures were less then impressive, though the cars always remained at a very high quality.

Its probably an early build, so the graphics could get better or worse by launch.

The snow/mountain track reminds me of Need For Speed 2's (1997) Mystic Peaks course. I hope Drive Club becomes the franchise Need For Speed use to be

I love you man (in a totally non homosexual way), I'm glad to see other old school NFS fans seeing the potential in Drive Club to become what NFS once was.

Yeah I have a feeling Evolution Studios knows what we want, the fastest most desirable cars racing at the most exotic locations. NFS kind of lost that when it went after the Fast and Furious crowd with open world and city racing. Criterion did some things right with Hot Pursuit but still IMO missed the mark by quite a bit. I didnt like being forced to drift thorugh corners Ridge Racer style for boost. I also thought the handling was spotty at best.

Drive Club will be playable at E3

Anyone else hoping that there might be an option for license sharing between PD and Evo Studios?

Not to say that any car that appears in GT will be in DC or vice-versa, but that if either one wanted a car from the other, they could have it easily? (As long as a source model could be obtained).

No, Pd should stick with their plan as well should Evolution. Driveclub is a completely different game than Gt6. As a fan of cars the more cars the better, but I think it would be best if the game stay seperate.

Not saying either game should become anything like the other one. I'm simply saying that if one game gets the license to the Koenigsegg and BAC Mono, and the other gets the license to the Aston Martin Vantage V12 and Lamborghini Aventador, they should have the option to share the licenses of the four cars between the two games.

Im pretty sure that the car makers would not agree with your idea. Im pretty sure they would be wanting payment from both developers for using there cars.

I said the same exact thing about the cockpits and someone ripped me a new one. At least I'm not the only one that thinks of the similarity.

The handling also looks remarkably similar to PGR4s. The camera sway and all. It just looks so familiar.

^I could be wrong but I think that's the first image we've seen of the new PS Eye.

Here's the new E3 trailer:

The graphics seem to look even better than they did in February!

And 60fps?!

Wish they had shown more of it though.

Agreed, but there's a playable demo lurking around somewhere at E3, and of course the devs are down there too, so i wouldn't see surprised if we see/ hear more in the coming days.

Also, some official screengrabs from that trailer:

Did they say this? I haven't seen a single 60fps video yet.

They said in the Official Playstation Magazine that they're aiming for 60fps. To be fair though, that doesn't confirm that it'll definitely be 60fps in the final build, but it's highly likely.
