Well, that's the game 100%'d until the RPM pack. Back on the shelf it goes for now. :)

By the way @MeanElf, I personally found the difficulty of Torque and the Icons pack to be the exact same! Aside from having to do a second attempt of one of the Rimac races, that thing is a god-awful drive.

This is pretty much my problem with the GTR coming to Driveclub.

Driveclub has many cars in it that I've not driven in games before such as the Jaguars, Peugeots and some of the electric concept cars. It also has cars in it that I've not driven since they were in PS1 games! The F50 and Diablo being two examples. I want this game to introduce me to new cars and also bring in cars I've not driven in years. Not cars that are so popular they're in every racing game going.
Forgive my boldness in this question, but isn't that more the fault of your own expectations, rather than the game developers? I mean they are only responding to what they think is likely to be well received, and of course to what they can realistically achieve. They did say quite early on that the game would be evolving and growing according to player feedback.

Ahh, okay. I thought it was tougher in general and I've seen a few other comments that sort of support that. But like I say, you are a fast and devilish driver (compared to me :D)

Pfft, you've crushed me in quite a few challenges. ;)

Yeah it sort of is but at the same time there's been a lot of feedback for many many cars that I'd prefer to have and they seem to have been either ignored or they're planned for the July pack or if there's a second season pass.

And also if they've evolved the game on feedback from players, who the hell asked for the Rimac?

Yeah, I know what you're saying - it's all a bit up in the air in that respect and I can only hope that a second season pass makes it past Sony's bean counters. Trouble is, with so many cars on so many people's favourite list, there are going to be shortfalls no matter what.

As for the freebies and concepts, I suppose they just wanted a stable of unique cars in there; so a developer choice at the end of the day.

It is yeah, I'd be interested in a second season pass depending on what they bring or if it evolves into Driveclub 2. I realise there are going to be shortfalls in the car lists but the GTR is just a safe bet and a waste for me.
I suppose it's fair for the developers to choose some unique cars as well.

Do you mean PS+ edition? If you do, well no. There won't be a complete edition on disc

I meant the disc version. I thought that after all the DLC and patches they would release a complete edition like Forza did with FM4 and FM5 and what GT5 did with the XL version.

Seems PSN has had a few problems at the same time as the update which caused a slow load of the game after this update. Apparently signing out and back in again will help clear this.

Interesting new liveries.

Anybody got any ideas on my stars issue by the way? Still stuck on 495 stars but have 100% trophies with all DLC inclusive.

I'm quite happy with that list of cars! Shame no LFA, I'm sure they would have done a good job with the sound:(

Here's the list

The rest says the same about the Velocity pack and that there are general bug fixes.

How odd, I've not heard about that problem before. Was that the case before the update too?

EDIT: The PSN issues are now cleared and I can see the online portions since the update.

Nice new 'race completed' picture and I'm surprised at how many accolades for the new vehicles and tracks that I still need to do...(Second Edit:) I see now that all previously accumulated data on the new cars hasn't been saved, as the Nissan accolade is the same as for all others that I know I've driven the wheels off...

I'm guessing the Bonus Racer accolade is for the Ferraris and Typhoon? (EDIT the third:) Yup, wombat included!

Its been the case since about 10 days ago :( the game froze and then when I turned the game back on I haven't been able to increase my star count.

It's very odd.

Indeed. I think a call to Sony might be your best bet, or maybe renewing the license thing (please don't ask me how, I haven't a clue...)

Well, I've been having brilliant fun flinging the Wombat around the Japanese tracks. It's fun to be chasing accolades once more, before today, I only had the long slog of 'complete 621 more events on a race track in Chile' and the like. These new accolades are going to keep me amused nicely as I work through most of the DLC cars and get reacquainted again (in some cases)

What a massively boring DLC pack....

If you're gonna add more US muscle, the Ford GT is a pretty damn obvious choice. Instead we get the mildly interesting Dodge Challenger, and a Chevy which is close to a copy paste of an existing car. Same goes for the woefully boring McLaren 570... The Nissans are decent, although hardly the most interesting Japanese cars.

And still no private lobbies... Driveclub is like a running joke... As for the PS Plus edition, at this point, the only way to save face, would've been to just release the full game on PS Plus.

It's a shame really. The graphics, physics and challenge network in Driveclub is superb. It really is. But it's all let down by the lack of the most basic features, such as private lobbies.

Hi guys. I almost started playing DC ´cause I was waiting for a price drop (here in Argentina is quite hard to buy games) and I have to say... It´s quite an amazing game.

But to the point. I haven´t seen ANYWHERE any news about a PRICE DROP for DC.

And I´ve paid 24.99 for the game Monday night just after the e3 stream ended. You could say that it was "tuesday", but anyway...

So, for anyone to correct me. The game isn´t advertised anywhere as 24.99 for PS+ suscribers, yet the PS+ edition appeared at that price in the store that night.

I was checking the game page since weekend ´cause I was waiting for the PS+ "demo" edition but it didn´t appear. Instead the 24.99 appeared and I inmediately bought it.

The season pass is still 24.99 BTW.

Has anyone else noticed that "price drop"?
