I hope that Mégane will get the new Peugeot 308 GTI as a rival. Really looking forward to see what Evolution Studios will have in store in the months that come.

I wonder if they are working on another game as well...

I hope Sony HQ are pleased how Drive Club has now turned out after all the hard work by everyone at Evolution Studios listening/feedback to the 'community' etc and they invest more into the franchise now it is set up and is getting positive feedback from comments/reviews. This should come by either more tracks and cars via a second season pass/dlc or work on an off shoot of the name i.e Off road/Rally Drive Club / Jump tracks and buggies to accompany the Wombat you access via the main track like or add some wild Rally Cross cars, jumps and gravel/tarmac tracks. They have the expertise from Motor Storm.

I personally would love them to concentrate on the hot hatch/ sports and performance cars more than the Super/Hyper cars as much as I love these they are now out weighing the other classes. I find the lower classes/sports much more fun to thrash and go full throttle through wet chicanes and tight tracks.

Previously before launch someone saw on Evo's laptop the track 'Italy' with the Lambos and they said it was pre production trials etc Well we got the Japanese cars and tracks we have the ferraris and Lambos.. They have the Italian tracks in a draft form deep in their hard drive, I wouldn't be surprised to see a coastal sunny Italian track heading our way over the next year? :D (wishes all comes true to feed my addiction to DC!)

I'd agree with the few in this thread, that DC would be best kept refreshed by new tracks with the possible addition of one or two new locations. A few new cars here and there would definitely be useful.

Yep, new tracks - with or without (but preferably with of course) new locations - is also my main hope for the coming months in DriveClub.
Regardless, if there's going to be a second season pass I'm definitely buying it.

I think it's time EVO concentrates on a new Motorstorm.
I hate saying it but Evo would be lucky to get another Sony-exclusive development contract after the botched launch of Driveclub. I hope I'm wrong but I doubt we'll see another full-fledged title off them for a while.

@Brend I think Sony know people want a motorstorm game (with DC's engine), I'd bet we'll be seeing it a year or so after PD release GT7, so I'm betting holiday 2017.

Hey guys. :) I'm now on the final part of the DC Tour (Hyper Class) and soon to be finished. Once it's done I'll be purchasing the Season Pass to get all DLC packs to continue my DC adventure! :D

Can you guys please help me with something? I want to make an album with all the cars in Driveclub, and I decided the best way is to go to each car and in the painting / decal selection page wait a few seconds and get it to that "screen saver" like little movie which showcases the car (even the interior, something you can't do in Photomode).
The problem is that from all the cars, the new Ferrari FXX Evoluzione won't trigger the movie even if you wait 1-2 minutes. I tried closing the game and console and reboot, but did't help.

Is it acting the same for you? If yes, what is the best way to give feedback to Evolution for this bug? Tweeting Rushy, i guess...

You could always go into the garage photomode option: select the paint job, then scroll across to pick a time of day/weather conditions and then select photomode - okay, you won't necessarily get interior shots that way, but I've noticed that not all cars go into that. With the P1 it will go into the menu-less state after something like thirty seconds, still doesn't do that with the Evoluzione though - so maybe that one has a trigger bug.

Yes I know, but that "showcase" offered me interior shots and same angles for every car. Manual photo mode doesn't ( i'm picky :) ).
So you have the same bug? Then it probably is a system wide one.

Wasnt the last Motorstorm a flop as well? I hate to say it too, but I aslo kinda thinks that Evo still has its back to the wall after the launch fiasco. Look at the layoffs they had. :(

That said, even with my thorough frustration of their obnoxious overuse of rain in the tour events, I d buy a second season pass in a heartbeat. Especially if there is a new location. Italy would be beyond amazing... Thinks of Tuscany... Thinks of passes over the Alps... Thinks of Targa Florio... Thinks of the Adria Coast... Thinks of a city track in one of those lovely ancient cities like Florence etc... Thinks of Monza as the race track... Oh my!

Italy would be amazing. Would be the best thing ever to drive a Ferrari 458 Italia down the Italian coast with the HUD and music off.

I think the layoffs were pretty much because of the launch problems. I do hope that Sony see how it has turned around, and more importantly, that they are in a financial situation that allows them the freedom to rescind that earlier decision - they were apparently struggling a bit, perhaps over-extended would be a fairer assessment of their situation.

It's all a mystery to me though, Sony announce early on in the PS4's launch cycle that they have already recouped the development costs, they trashed the XBOne with regards to sales figures and yet they still say they are struggling...

I think part of the layoffs were normal (devs do it after they release a game), would love to know if DC made some decent profit (think it did) or atleast would have had the game shipped in it's current state.

I'd also like to put up my hands up and say that I hated the Motorstorm series. Really didn't enjoy them although I liked the idea behind the games, just wasn't a fan of the handling.
@sems4arsenal Driveclub barely sold at full price a month after its release and supermarkets and outlets here were flogging the Driveclub bundle as their 'deals of choice' each time. There may be a lot of copies out there but I'm betting not even 30% were bought at full price. In fact, Evo themselves adjusted the game's price on PSN in the hope that people bought the season pass alongside the game so it added up to a 'full price' title. I'd like to believe the layoffs were normal but I highly doubt it. They were butchered quite a bit.

I haven't bought a Season Pass in DC, nor have I bought PS Plus so I can play online, the reason? Because of Sony's decision to block my wheel from working. If I could've carried on using my own wheel in DC, I probably would've bought both a Season Pass & PS Plus, but it's not worth it for me without a wheel to buy them. I wonder how many others like me are out there, & whether Sony would've made more money in the long run by allowing all wheels to be used on PS4. Maybe Sony have ended up cuttting of their nose to spite their face!

I'm sure that those kinds of corporate favouritism tactics can't help in the long run.

Care to share any links that prove that Sony is responsible for the lacking support of specific wheels? They aren't the ones responsible for making new drivers for old, 3rd party hardware.

Driveclub works best with a pad to be honest, your criticism is fair but EVO aren't responsible for your wheel situation and they are the ones that take your money.

Not saying go get the season pass if you don't want too, but your reasoning I feel isn't adequate.

I drove the Ferrari FXX Evo, FXX K, Mclaren P1 GTR and the Megane RS275 yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were to fling around the tracks. But to me, Driveclub isn't about track focused cars but high performance cars you can actually buy. Still a brilliant pack though.

DRIVECLUB Sold 2 Million copies before PS+ edition. Congrats Evo!

Nice, so it was even higher than I thought. Mind you, last time I looked there were something like 1.4 million positions on the leaderboards and that was a flawed guess as it was the position of someone on my FL who did a few events back at the start, then came back to the game quite recently.
