Meh... It's okay for bike fans I guess. I hope they'll focus on some of the most wanted cars now (Lexus LFA, Pagani Zonda Cinque, etc...).
Also GT Sport was a real surprise, but unless they let us use our old Logitech wheels, I won't buy it regrdless of its quality.

They most likely won't, hence why I care more about the Bikes DLC than GTSport.

Its just under 2gb starting to download now for me-Is this just to support the bikes? Although I am not too keen on bike games I might give it a go just for the sound of those revs hitting 10+ and the photos alone :) could well be worth the £15 for 12 bikes and all the customisation:D

I'm stuck on "Preparing to download: 0%"

Takes forever to get through the preparation phase on some patches. Mine is downloading now (showing 12.186 GB in total, but with only six minutes to go I imagine it must have been one of those updates that started somewhere close towards the end of the listed file size).

It's around 90% now, thanks :) @doblocruiser, I'll take a picture of the patch notes once it's done.

DC Bikes is available now. I did a store search to find it.

Edit: No download, the content much have been in the 1.23 update.

Bikes appear as a choice within the main game menu. Two are unlocked from the start, the rest will have to be unlocked through ranking up (edit: Actually all the rest are unlocked at rank 5. Edit, edit: I was wrong. Unlocking new bikes requires rank 5 on a named one of the previously unlocked bikes. You gain xp per bike. I'm already rank 3 on the KTM though, so seems to go by fast).

Full bike list, in unlock order (I hope I didn't miss a post somewhere already showing them :)):

KTM RC8 R
Yamaha YZF-R1
BMW S1000RR
Kawazaki Ninja ZX-10R 30th anniversary edition
Kawazaki Ninja H2
Ducati Demosedici RR
Ducati 1098R
Bimota BB3
Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade SP
Ducati 1299 Panigale S
MV Augusta F4 RR
Yamaha YZF-R1M

Additional notes...

Can use the same paint schemes you have created for cars.

Took the KTM out for a p2p ride on one of the Norway tracks in stormy, heavy precipitation conditions. Feels great, fun to drive, but definitely pure arcade. Very stable handling even in wet conditions, only way to crash seems to be slamming full speed head on into something (just fades to a DC logo screen and resets you on the track). Seemingly no being thrown off if you go off road or otherwise lose grip - the bike just squirrels around a bit and then comes back under controls.

Motion controls are available for bikes as well, and for me who has been using motion controls for the last couple of months they feel just as great and perfectly smooth and natural for the bikes.

Did the first tour race. Very easy. The AI had a fair bit of room between them and not nearly as aggressive as the car AI, but of course bikes are very different and it's way too early to say much about the bike AI. Additionally this was a track race (Japan), so not as tight as the p2p tracks.

Wheelie/stoppie (skill) events instead of drifting.

The bikes are rather more lively than the first impression suggested. While they seemingly won't throw you off - as mentioned earlier - they move around quite a lot beneath you and you can use the rear brake to initiate a slide for sharp cornering.

Hmm, bikes are an interesting development, especially if Shichisawa san was involved. I'd be tempted to look into it, however the sounds don't seem that great, based on some live streams... Too much dyno noise, I bet. PD should still have another crack at bikes!

Since I have very little bike knowledge I'm going to look up some YouTube videos later and try to get an impression of how DC Bikes stack up in the sound department. I've only used the first two bikes so far, but they definitely seem to have more grunt and character than the lifeless engines in RIDE.

Edit: A bit tough to evaluate motorcycle engine sound based on YouTube videos. Too much wind noise or distortion at high speeds.

Bought for £11.99 there are 2 options on the store. £15.99 for the stand alone game which you don't need to have DC or the add on for £11.99. Worth a shot any how- now to wait again as I had to delete it and start all over!! Looks like Evo have been busy !

Oh, there's no doubt in my mind that I will buy this and jump into the sweet sweet photo mode. The only problem is that I'm a bit short on cash until Friday morning when I get my salary; plus it will distract me from the DLC's tour races. I've barley made it to about half of the season pass races, so still a long way to go. :)
